My cousins and I came by after having dinner at the plaza. Some claw games are 1 token and some cost 2 tokens. We stuck with the 1 token claw games to get the most bang for our buck! They had a variety of prizes, but we did notice a lot of capybara, my Melody, Kuromi, stitch, and Labubu themed plushies amongst other random prizes. I liked the customer service here. That usually makes or breaks a good experience. My cousins and I struggled to claw the toy we want (either the claw wouldn't reach the sides of the machine, or was positioned at a difficult grasp), the employee, without hesitation, helped us to reposition the plush. Was not worth the $. Went against the reviews and wanted to try but ended up agreeing with the bad reviews. They have plushies in the smaller claw games that do not fit inside the claw. Impossible. They also took the grip off of the claws and have all the plushes shoved into each other. Store was empty and we should've taken that as a sign to not go. read more

Kawaii overload... The newest place for some fun is at McCully Shopping Center on the second floor and though parking can be the challenge here at least it's completely free so that you can focus on grabbing some fun right here and loved the vibe here as you walk in it's bright and vibrant with lots of machines so you're not too crowded against each other. Nice to see some offers if you purchase more tokens yup you get more including a tote to take your plushies with you along with a free plushy of the week. I did purchase extra tokens for the bonus but saved half for the next visit which I know I'd be back though I may not be great at it but sure do have fun with these machines that are filled with a great variety of plushies that we all are basically familiar with versus the lower grade ones that are worse than basic and besides we can all just purchase some of these cuties at your local stores and yes I agree the quality are made differently but it's much more fun when it's captured which was a few that I was surprised of as these machines do shake/jerk pretty hard once it lifts that I know I totally got frustrated but got a Hello Kitty noodles and few others. I literally walked into heaven... or to me this place is like heaven!!! I often play claw games at Fun Factory but they only have around 10 ish claw games, so I was so excited to finally go here and check it out! Claw Kingdom is located on the 2nd floor of McCully Shopping Center by Pho 777 and Fook Yuen Chinese Restaurant. They have over 30 claw games and lots of cute plushies and prizes to win. The bigger machines take 2 tokens and the smaller machines take 1 token. You can also exchange your plushies for other cute items like blind boxes, pens, toys and even bigger plushies! I ended up trading my psyduck plush for 2 capybara pens which I thought they were so cute!! I had 150 tokens and walked away with 10 prizes (plushies, pens, keychains). Claw Kingdom is probably the second dedicated claw machine place i have ever been to, and it was one of the last places i visited on my last trip to Hawaii :) I came out here because my girlfriend wanted to check it out, so we decided to go at opening so it wouldn't be crowded. These folks were so welcoming! It's pretty straight forward here. You buy tokens and you try to win cute things! ALL. THE. CUTE. THINGS. OH OH OH! Awesome thing that I noticed that they do!!! They have values to plushes, and you can even trade some in for something else! I think you might even be able to trade a few small for a medium etc. Need a spot to take the kids? Out of all the other shops on island that have claw machines, I like the selection and the durability(?) of the claws the best. There are a lot of Sanrio plushies and Disney character plushies up for grabs - literally! The regular-sized claw machines use 2 tokens per play while the mini-sized claw machines use 1 token per play. Personally, it does feel a little expensive but the price is comparable to similar stores. This store also offers free plastic drawstring bags for people to carry their prizes in! I went for the $50 option where you're given 60 tokens (10 tokens for free) and a free regular-sized plushie of your choosing! Even if you don't end up getting lucky with the claw machines, this option is worth it to not feel empty walking out empty-handed (I know I would've felt that way). BTW, tap-to-pay (Apple Pay / Samsung Pay / etc.) / card payments are allowed! While I'm usually bad at playing with claw machines, the claws had more of a grip on plushies which I really liked. Claw Kingdom is a great addition to McCully Shopping Center! Very cute prizes and friendly staff. Went during soft opening today and was not disappointed. I got the promotion for $100 = 150 tokens + 1 Bag + Choice of 2 Plushies of the week. Very much worth it! It was difficult for me to win, but perseverance is key. Plus whenever I play claw games it's more about the experience. If you're really struggling or want a certain prize you can ask the staff to reposition it for you. We were able to win 4 plushies & 3 mini keychain plushies. I still have some leftover coins and I'm looking forward to my next visit! read more

I love claw machines but I'm just ok at them, and this is a great place to play. Some plushies are harder to grab than others but I thought it is pretty fair. If you need help, the staff can help out with readjusting the plushies for easier grab. We all ended up taking home plushies and I noticed other customers that came too were able to win. We can also trade in for other prizes at the front. Some of the selections were not my cup of tea but they seem to rotate it from time to time. It was fun and rewarding! read more

Who doesn't love claw machines? This new trend is popping up around the island. What's horrible about many of these places, the machines are cheap and the claw either picks up nothing at all because it isn't strong enough or it picks it up and drops it immediately due to the jerky nature of the claw. It seems that it's both here. Positives? The plushies are trendy. They have Sanrio, Disney, pokemon, etc. They are not authentic, but it is appealing to kids. You will definitely end up blowing a lot of money and receiving very little in return. Most machines are 2 tokens or $2. You will go through it within minutes. We ended up winning what we could and walking out feeling scammed. Not to mention the lady that was working was texting on her phone and not helpful at all. This place is a waste of money. I tagged along with my Cousin's who wanted to take my Daughter here and they put in $100 and within 15 minutes it was gone and they got no prizes. They only thing we left with was the plush that came with spending $100 along with a drawstring bag. These claw machines are rigged. When we walked in, we noticed that this kid that was at the register went around and "reset" whatever machines he can get to. He did so by taking a plush and dropped it in the prize box. So what I'm guessing is that there are an "x" amount of times that people pay before the claw actually grabs something. The boy tried to be discrete about it but it was so obvious what he was doing. We returned to Claw Kingdom for a play date and had a much better experience this time. Both kids were able to win prizes and had a lot of fun. We also weren't hesitant to ask the staff for help, and they were friendly and supportive. Overall it ended up being a really fun visit and we enjoyed it much more this time around. read more

Like many others have said, this was hands down one of the worst claw machine experiences we've ever had. We've been to arcades all over -- Bay Area, LA, Colorado -- and consistently win at least 5 prizes. But here? Not a single one. Not even close. The whole setup feels incredibly shady. When I brought it up to the staff, the woman just shrugged and said, "That's how the machines are." Yeah -- because you made them that way. Totally rigged and unfair. Don't waste your money, time, or energy here. My kids left disappointed and heartbroken, and the staff couldn't have cared less. No wonder the place is empty on a Friday night. Skip the scam and just order a plushie from Temu -- it's the same stuff anyway, and you won't walk away feeling ripped off. Its pretty for sure. The claw games are okay. Half toys I liked, half toys I didn't care for. The craw machines is the same, I think at the ones they have on Keiki Kingdom. I think overall I'm pretty good at claw machines...but after $50, I won zero, nothing. The cool thing was with my $50 got me 1 stuffy of my choice from what they had in a cart and free bag... Maybe it was a really bad day for me but not likely...I'm the one that will more than likely walk out of fun factory or d&b with big stuffies just from claw machines so idk. Go have fun! Definitely do not recommend coming here. First, we paid $10 for 10 tokens, but only was issued 9. Then we started playing, not knowing each play is 2 tokens. Lastly, the claw doesn't even get close to even grasping the item. The claw is too small, has a weak grasp, and doesn't even lift the item one bit. Don't waste your time, money or energy coming here. Regular size plushes (at about 6") costs 2 coins, which is 2$. Small size like keychains and labubu type plushes are 1 coin which is $1. Bought 50$ worth of coins, which came out to 56 coins. The machines were too cheap. Rigged too tight that it was almost impossible to win. The claw will grab the plushy and let go the last minute. Almost too literally. What i won for 50$. ... 1 regular size plushy and 1 keychain size plushy. Oh, because i bought 50$ worth of coins, they gave 1 free plushy. So.... Ya.... I played claw machines everywhere. I mean, i get it we can't be comparing prices with mainland (1$ per game usually). But atleast they make it so customer win something. Doesnt have to be every single time but after 50$, i expect to win a little bit more than 1 plushy and a keychain. To be fair, one of the employees said let her know if i want certain plushy, then she will adjust it for me but im not going to ask her to adjust it on every machine. Other places, the employees were looking after the customers and adjusting it without being asked. I wont be going back to spend my money here. Cute, and fun, gets crowded easily because of the size of the location. Got $100 worth of tokens and it goes quick, won a few times and my daughter was happy. A few times the machine would call for 2 tokens to play and even after inserting them it would only count 1 of the 2, had to add another to play the game, bummer but not a big deal. But as mentioned in another comment, we traded some of the plushies for a different prize and the prizes aren't good quality, either fake or the paint on them is smeared etc. Definitely fun but the trade up prizes aren't the best quality. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!! We have been to several of these claw locations in the mainland. The set up (claw machines, quality of plushies, redemption process etc) is exactly the same. The only thing different is the store name. It's disappointing how the owner has of Claw Kingdom programmed their machines. Grabbing the plushies is not a challenge but the claw is programmed to shaky vigorously so the plushie immediately drops where it started. After approx 20-30 attempts the claw will NOT shake so that's when the plushie glides to the exit..(winner!!). But by this time you have spent so many tokens (2 per play) it's definitely not worth the stress. At the mainland locations the attendants would actually open up the glass doors and loosen the plushies for the customers but Claw Kingdom's employees didn't do this. We were there for almost a hour. At the mainland locations we would walk out with 20+ plushies for half of the cost (approx $40-50). We paid $100 and walked out with 8 plushies. I noticed the other customers were just as frustrated as us. I felt really bad for the parents with young children. At the end it felt as if we were scammed out of our money. read more

Really cute and fun place to kill some time with the kids or have friendly competition date night stop with the other half. Be mindful parking is not limited but it's in a mall where there is only so much parking. It's a small shop, so ofc being a popular place it gets crowding but it's fun to see all the different ages like grandmother and grandson cheering on the small cute plushies they just won and maybe even first time dates having a go. $100 bought us 150 tokens, a free bag and 2 plushies in a cart. Be mindful they are claw machines so ofc they're not always going to be giving you plush after plush. Not everyone is automatically a winner in life (HAHA). So ofc it was nice having a competition between the kids on who will get the most. If you are having a hard time they will try and arrange them to help you a bit and maybe a quick fluff. One side of the arcade is where you can play for fun and the other is where you can use those plushies to trade in for toys they have available. And yes they are cheap but very sturdy toys. I brought my 4 year old as a quick treat before we picked up some take out at McCully Shopping Center. We were on our last 2 coins and the lady asked if we needed any help? I think she could notice my kid's frustration. She said let me know if you'd like me to move anything in the machine to make it easier. I said oh you can do that? Sure yes please. I do alright at Fun Factory/Jungle Fun, D&B and even on online claw machines. I also know when to walk away from claw games that don't pay out. My understanding is that you need to buy $50 in tokens to get a consolation prize for not winning anything in the machines. No thanks. read more

Im an engineer, and this place seriously needs to be investigated by the state. Almost every machine picks up what you grab, then releases it. Its not physically possible to win on most of these machines. Other machines randomly move after pressing the button, so their is no skill or precision involved; it's purely luck. Not worth losing $20+ for. The staff was kind though. read more
