The cornbread was on point, only missed some butter. It was sweet and good consistency. The banana pudding was better the next day after I throw it on the fridge. Not sure if the short drive made it warm up or if their fridge was not working too well. It did need a little more fresh banana chunks for my liking but it was good over all. We both ordered the softshell crawfish, and I was delighted that they brought out hush puppies at no charge as soon as we sat down. It didn't take long for them to bring out the soft shell crawfish along with a dipping sauce that was something unfamiliar. My friend didn't really like it, and I used it, but was rather ambivalent about it. The soft show crawfish seemed overcooked to me, and I've had fried crawfish tails many times that were much better. At least I can now say that I have actually had the chance to try a softshell crawfish. Also, since the proceeds from sale of the softshell crawfish, we're going to medical expenses for the owner's daughter's liver transplant, I was happy to contribute to that cause.
