The sweet lady took my dog to the back and did the nail trim and dremel with such ease. My dog was very comfortable with her. I truly appreciate them for accepting a walk-in nail trim. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes (probably quicker if I didn't have questions regarding nail trims haha). A long awaited review. I've been recommended this place since my boyfriend and I got our cat and have since been coming here since she was 7 months old! Whether it's for grooming or both haircut and grooming, Kuma always comes home smelling good and looking fresh. We suck at cutting her nails, but were told by staff here that she's the absolutely sweetest and calm in there! I love the care they give for her and haven't had a problem. The haircut we choose for her is the Lion's Cut. At first when she was young, they recommended not to shave her in case her fur was still growing out. I still appreciate their advice because now we get the best results! An extra charge will be added if they find fleas (even just one), which they let you know ahead of time. Appointments only and currently only taking zelle/cash so plan accordingly! There are also cats available for adoption so please check them out! I've never taken any of my cats to be groomed before so when I made an appointment, I just asked for a bath and a haircut. When I got to my appointment, it was recommended to me to not cut my cat's fur as it might never grow back the same. I REALLY appreciated being told that, especially since I mainly just wanted a sanitary trim. They easily could have said okay to the haircut, taken my money, and it would have been my fault I didn't do research beforehand on how a haircut could potentially affect my cat. Since my cat had some minor fleas, he received a flea bath. He smelled very nice afterwards and not chemically at all! They did a fantastic job on his sanitary trim and overall wonderful job with grooming my cat. He has very long, thick fur and after they bathed him and brushed him out, he looked like he lost a few pounds! He's also not very cooperative with me when I try to trim his front and back paws and do a sanitary trim, so it's worth the cost to not have to hassle with it myself. I brought two cats for a haircut and grooming a couple days ago. I was recommended this place, so I thought they were going to do a good job with my cats. The actual haircut was very clean and the service took an hour for two cats, which was way faster than normal. I was happy at first and even left a big tip for the groomers. When I came home, I saw two major cuts on both my cats. I get them groomed every year and this has never happened before. I would expect the groomers to say something at least. The groomers also did say that the two cats were so sweet and did not move at all, so I can't imagine how this could've happened. So so so disappointed and will not be coming back ever again. I have a 3 year old Persian girl she has never once tried to bite me she is very docile and sweet. 1 day after she was groomed here I noticed patches under her belly and chest that started to form into scabs. Over the next few days they got worse. I paid $150 for them to butcher my cat. Some times she doesn't sit still and maybe that's why the groomer was careless and irritated but I would have respected if they just told me my kitty doesn't sit still long enough for a short cut and maybe just a hygiene trim is best. Just an update - we still come here. One of our fur babies passed away but we still take our boy cat here. He always comes home smelling wonderful after his spa day. Something great to remember about this business is they also offer cat boarding, which I have used their services and felt so comfortable leaving my babies in their care. My experience with Claws N Paws Day Spa is fairly extensive and wonderful. Decided to stop my mobile groomer and try taking my hig-strung white cat to be groomed and furminated. After visiting CNP we had very little white hair in our house for months, something we hadn't experienced in 10 years! I was over the moon with happiness. I was having a hard time finding someone to clip my 8 month old Australian Shepherds Jax's nails as he was a little aggressive and was not gonna cooperate. So impressed! We took our fussy, older (14 years) ragdoll cat to get his first ever grooming done here. As he aged his grooming habits decreased and we started to noticed matted hair appear on the right side of his body. BEWARE THEY THREATENED ME, THREATENED TO HAVE MY 3 CATS TAKEN TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER, called me a BAD person over the phone because I refused to pay for an extra $75 in services that I never approved, AND- get this- they left my cats out in the front area with the FRONT DOOR WIDE OPEN and expected me to collect my cats one by one with a baby on my hip with the front door wide open! I am utterly disgusted with the way the owner NORMA behaved and treated me and my 3 animals. Who knows how many other people she has threatened when she has a disagreement. Have you ever heard of a dog and cat grooming place THREATENING to take your animals to a shelter if you don't pay extra? Thats utterly disgusting and I have this all recorded! ---- I went to them a couple times before covid closures. The cost to shave the cats was well UNDER $100 before covid closures. I think it was about $70 before covid. Then they operated ILLEGALLY under the table during covid closures and price gouged their customers. They raised the price to shave one cat to $100 BEFORE tip and had their customers sneaking their pets through the back door. I shave my cats once or twice a year every summer because they tend to shed. This week I made an appointment to bring my 3 kitties in for 3 lion cut shaves. Their appointment was at 1:30 pm on thurs April 30. I dropped them off at 1:30 pm and called in and asked if one of their employees could come out and help me bring the cats in from my car. I had a baby , 3 cats, and it was 85 degrees out and couldn't leave any of the babies (furry or not ) in the car obviously. The gentleman who came out to the car to help me with the cats seemed nice and cordial. He had me sign my name, phone number, and write down that I was dropping off three cats. We had a preset agreement of $100 per cat before tip (which is still Highway robbery). I had every intention of tipping 18 percent on top of the cost. They called me at 2:18 pm (an hour later) and tried to price gouge me for another $75 ($25 per kitty) because they said my cats had fleas. I told them I just gave them flea medicine (Comfortis ) the night before and they will be fine. They do not have my permission to add and charge me for extra services especially since it wasn't in my budget. I wasn't about to spend $400 to shave 3 cats! When I told her NO I will not pay extra please just complete the services we agreed upon she proceeded to get nasty with me and tell Me she already finished one cat and the extra services and I owed her the money. I explained to her that I took time out of my day, dropped off the cats, I will pick them up when they complete the job that we agreed on. She then proceeded to say that I was a bad person and if I didn't come get the cats right now that SHE WOULD HAVE THEM SENT TO THE SHELTER! WTH! Can you imagine how much this ruined my afternoon? She was impossible to talk to or reason with. Every time I tried to call her she hung up on me anytime I tried to talk. All the while my babies were in HER care! She even harassed my husband at work. He is a firefighter and was BUSY saving lives and she called him at least three times while he was on duty. After several attempts to call and talk to her not knowing if she was going to hurt my animals or if she was going to complete the job, I packed up my 9 month old baby and drove to her location. I made sure to seek advice of fountain valley police department first. They said that if my cats were not there to call them and they would come to the scene. I arrive to the location around 3pm or so and Norma was nasty to me. She threw my 3 cats in the front waiting area with the door WIDE OPEN! mind you my cats were covered in their own urine and sitting in it. I have the name and number of a customer who witnessed this. Needless to say, I DID NOT PAY HER A DIME for the quarter job she did on one cat. I left with a partially shaved cat- one of three- all covered in urine and treated poorly. Why? Because I refused to let her rip me off and price gouge me for an extra $75. I refused to let her charge me $400 to shave 3 cats. That's why. This woman is awful. This location is awful. I could cry at the thought of how she threatened my family! My animals. My cats could have escaped out the front door and I was expected to collect them in case they ran away with a baby on my hip right? I will be making sure this will be taken to the better business bureau, all forms of social Media (I have a 250k followers) and also all review places. Do not go here! YOUR ANIMALS ARE NOT SAFE HERE and neither is your wallet . This is grounds to have their license suspended. read more

They are always happy to see us come in and the check-in process is easy and stress-free. They are also very communicative and let me know with kindness how to visit went.
