I visited this car wash for the first time. My car was very dirty on the outside. I chose the most expensive outside car wash which was $17. Your car goes through the automated wash and they towel dry your car. My car was clean afterwards although it did have water spots on it that I noticed later. None of the employees were wearing a mask. I sat outside waiting for my car and I could hear one of the employees dropping the eff bomb every other word talking about baseball. I am here in NC helping my sister after her surgery. She can't drive while recuperating, so I am happy to do it. But she has a dog, and her car has that dog smell. I was looking for a car wash where they cleaned the interior & exterior, including vacuuming and windows. When I brought in the car it was not clean. When the car was returned it was clean, and much better smelling. While I am here, I plan on bringing her car in every two weeks or so. BEWARE. Do not use this car wash. My car was damaged. This damage was witnessed by the entire staff yet the owner, Brett Gowek tried to "mansplain" his way out of repairing the damage that was caused by his equipment. Why 2 stars you say? Have been pleased with my visits to this point. Then today it all went to the pooper. First time I paid fir the "Gold". I guess that's why I was so disappointed. Got the worse cleaning I've ever had. I posted 10 pictures and that ain't even all of them. Door handle, door jams, rear hatch and much more. And that was AFTER I brought the car back to them to show them all they missed on the first try. When. Brought it back a young man came trotting out to see why I was bringing my car back. I pointed out a few things and he was quick to say that they'll work on it again. I was upset that I had to bring it back so in my in my description of what their job looked like I cursed. I used the 4 letter word for poop and for that I do apologize. The young man that first cleaned it brought it back and while it was better than before it still was not a good job. My pictures are all of the car condition after it was done the second time. I was now out of time to wait any longer so off I went. I was going to call back to complain but I decided not to because I was still angry about it all. 2 stars come from previous visits and then being better. If based one this visit solely it would be a no star if it was possible. read more

My car is significantly less dirty than it was before I went to clayton auto spa. Other things that could be added would be more clean, increased amount of shininess and way less dirtiness. I have been using this car wash for years. They always do a reasonable job. As long as you wash your car regularly, they do a decent job. I noticed that most of the persons that complain about a poor wash are either (1) nit pickers that expect to get their car detailed for $20 (Spiffy charges $160 for detail) or (2) people that have not washed their car in months and expect the car wash to remove an inch of baked on dirt in one pass. read more

The car wash is automated and does a fair job. The final detail quality changes with each visit. Most often are high school students who are in need of better training on how to detail a vehicle. Using the same rag for the door panels, door sills, dash, and glass just shouldn't happen. Sometimes door jambs are wiped down, other times not. I always end up cleaning the glass myself to get rid of the streaks. It's just not worth the expense for the fluctuating quality. read more

I appreciate the guys vacuuming my car and the wash was okay but there was still dirt left on my car when I got it. The only problem I had was the console and the dash. I had asked the guy to clean in the edges and try to pick up the extra dirt and he did but when I got home, I noticed how so much of the inside of the car wasn't cleaned. I had to go purchase wipes to basically do everything he missed and I'm talking like 15 wipes were used to clean up my car. It's like they didn't really put in the effort to clean my car and they weren't that busy so it's like they had a reason to rush. I mean $21 is pretty high of a price if I'm gonna have to do half of the work. Maybe buy some extra tools to help get the job done? read more

After being told I had nothing to worry about, they totally jacked up my front left wheel! Deep scratches all the way around the outter part of my shiney new car's rim. They also use WAY to much armour all...felt like I was all coated in butter and ready for the fring pan. read more

Took two cars there on Saturday. The first came out great. Looked super. The 2nd, not so much. The guy wiping it down did a lousy job. There was dirt that he said wouldn't come off even after I took my fingernail and scraped it off. I took it back to the check in area and spoke to Cody. He took charge immediately and personally cleaned the car over and above what I would have expected to make sure I was satisfied. My thanks to him. He's an asset to your company. read more

Just no. This guy is really rude. My fiance and I stopped by here in hopes to get our car detailed (only on the inside). First off, he acted like we were inconveniencing him and that he was too busy to even speak to us (with only one other car in his lot). NOT the way to treat a customer! All we wanted was an estimate. We have a Honda Civic Coupe, not like it's a big car. We keep it pretty clean aside from normal daily use, we don't eat in the car nor do we smoke or anything of the sort that would make it a bigger job than average. He wanted to charge $250. $250!!! That's insane. Go to American Pride and use their shampooers for only a few bucks. This guy is a ripoff. read more

I went for a state inspection on my girlfriends car and was told there was a bad spot on one tire the guy didn't feel good about. It's a second car and not a thousand miles a year put on it. The tire was fine. The guys down the street at Just Tires said they were fine; and they're job is selling tires. We have used both those firms for years. So she had to buy two new tires she didn't need. Take it back and had a different inspector and he on a whim I guess failed another tire. $500 later it's back sitting in the driveway. Took a dirty truck there to get cleaned. It was rinsed, ran through the wash, then hand cleaned. I got the gold package. When it was done, instead of having dirt in the back of the truck I had a bunch of mud. I asked the kid if we could since that out and he pulled it around to do so. As he was washing out the back a couple other kids, who were apparently in charge, came running out yelling that they don't do that. Instead of talking to me, the kids walked away complaining about leaving mud in the parking lot. Its a car wash, you are suppose to wash dirty vehicles! I watched as the automatic wash brushed only the passenger side of my truck. Also, there was soap remaining in the truck bed and the worker went to hose it out upon my request but was stopped by the manager!??! Today I had a minor fender bender and took it to Clayton Auto Spa to wash the car to inspect the damage. As always, they did a great job and when the team in the shop heard what happened they offered to put the car on the lift to make sure the undercarriage looked okay. They were so friendly, so helpful and did not want anything for helping me! I can't wait to use them for my next oil change! read more

After reading a few reviews I thought I'd give it a try. So I got the "managers special" cleaning which sounded like a good deal. After seeing the finished product I'm pretty sure it was the assistant manager special. The outside looked really good and detailed but the inside not so much. The lemon scent cleaner smells good but the car was never vacuumed. They may have attempted the floor board but they didn't touch the back seat. I have a yellow lab so it's really easy to see where he has been. All the employees were nice but didn't seem to concerned about detail. read more
