I got back three responses, but they were not all the same in quality. United Home Services sent back a very detailed and professional response. I am very impressed with the level of detail. I asked a few more questions and the company responded promptly. What is even more impressive is how the company worked with my hectic schedule, and even help me with a day and time that worked perfectly with my job. Eli was the technician that came to assist. He seemed genuinely happy to assist. He brought in all his equipment being very respectful of our home. He made small talk that was both professional and interesting. He stated that the Farmers Almanac predicts another harsh winter! A person is a TRUE professional when they read the Farmers Almanac to keep up-to-date on things that affect their job! Eli sweep our chimney from inside, taking care to protect and keep debris from entering the living area. He went on top of the house and took pictures of the chimney, explaining what it should look like, and even showed examples. Our tar sealant was eroded and I thought that it would be another appointment. Eli just smiled and said, no Ma'am, I'm gonna take care of that for you today! I am beyond happy with the quality of service from the inquiry response to Eli our tech. Thank you Eli, you were fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had scheduled to have our chimney cleaned since we just moved into our home earlier this year and didn't know how often the chimney was used prior to us moving. We had scheduled to have them come out last week but something came up on the company's in where they needed to come out this week. The way they went about letting me know this was a little unprofessional in my opinion. Which almost made me cancel the whole cleaning due to the reviews on here, I put pictures down below. I would have much preferred a phone call letting me know what was going on (they were going to be short staffed that day) then asking me what time I was going to be home? It weirded me out. But them being the only company available right now, and my fear of how winter is going to be this year I rescheduled. Fast forward to today Eli was the one who came to service the chimney. I made sure to schedule on a day where my husband was off because of how the previous review is below. Eli came in and immediately got to work. I have lots of animals 6 cats and 1 elderly dog. so they were very curious about who Eli was and what was going on. haha Once they finished the cleaning I asked how dirty it was which it wasn't bad at all last thing he needed to do was check the chimney on the roof. Our house is older and Eli took photos of all the damage on the chimney explained that if we replaced the wood and had it fixed that we also get a 5 year warranty which to us is perfect. He emailed us the quote and the photos he took, which yeah the price is steep but we wouldn't be able to do that ourselves so I'm leaving it to the experts. Two men came to do the repair; one was the primary and the other was A novice. Originally the primary wanted over $600 to fix the one in MBdrm and the hall bathroom. I ended up paying $351.00 to have the valve replaced in the master bedroom. I realize than was a very poor decision on my part, I should have told them to leave and called another company.. the sad thing is a company works hard to gain trust of Their customers and a bad experience loses them a customer. I will never use them again.

A couple of months ago, they fixed a minor chain issue on my upstairs toilet for free (because they realized the issue was so minor), so I was shocked by this quote. The downstairs issue turned out to be just a seal, which is also a very minor fix. I declined the service and ended up doing the repair myself in about five minutes with an $8.99 part. I really only needed the technician to confirm what the issue was. I expected much more reasonable pricing and transparency for the reason of the pricing, and I hope they reconsider their pricing structure for loyal customers.

My husband and I have suffered a lot with allergies and inflammatory issues over these past few months. Ori and his partner came out and discovered we had black mold in our vents and ducts. They cleaned them out and put disinfectant for the mold and took pictures of everything. I couldn't believe we've been living with that! Contacted Sweeppy after checking out some reviews to clean dryer vents/ducts. Talked to Nathan to…read moreconfirm that they serviced my area, which they did. Nathan scheduled an appointment, sent Dennis, Asaf, and one other young man. After checking my roof, I was told that they could not clean the duct through the roof vent as the existing vent was not a proper dryer vent. They left and contacted Nathan to discuss with me. Nathan confirmed that the existing roof vent was more for an attic gable fan and would need to be replaced. He would order the part and call me to reschedule. The appointment was set for today between 8am-10am, the same crew called to let me know they were on the way. Upon arrival, they removed the old vent, cleaned out duct, installed new and correct roof vent (after some adjustment cuts), tested for proper function. I even did a load of towels and drying them took half as long as before. All is good. Kudos to Nathan and his staff for their promptness, professionalism, and quality work. Well darn! I should have read the reviews before calling Roadrunner Pluming back to my house to…read morefind the water leak that we have or should I say had cause my husband found it and fixed it. I will say their plumbers are very professional and I even enjoy their cute little bios that's they text you - very nice touch. That amounts to nothing really if you don't complete the job that is paid for. They did a water leak inspection and charged us $350 to tell us that the leak was likely on our water softer line somewhere. So we called Puragan who quickly came out next day and took a look. They also charged me $0 dollars. It wasn't their lines but they found a line that Roadrunner did not and bam! Guess what we found? Wet ground and eventually the leak. It was on the complete opposite side of the pool. No where near where they said the leak was likely at. We won't be needing a plumber now cause we can fix it with a few parts and some of our own labor. I want to be fair with this review. I do have a very large ranch style house with a pool. It's old and complicated but we love it and are doing our best to bring it back to its former beauty. I'm also not looking for the cheapest option. We just want to hire contractors that give us the quality work that we pay for. Not only that, if you do a good job we will highly recommend your company to others and you will have a repeat customer for as long as we live in SA. We are no contractors but grew up poor in Alaska making us very capable and handy to complete "do it yourself projects" but we are also smart enough to know what things require a professional. When I hire someone, that's all I ask.

It didn't take long for him to figure it out and I guarantee you, I never would have, because it actually involved the air conditioner too. He showed us, on video, what the problem was and gave us two options to clear it up. We chose the option that would keep the drain clean for years to come, and they cleaned it out.
