To start off, I'd like to give a huge thanks to Jonathan and Enrique. 5 STAR customer service. I've had a bad experience with my home warranty sending incompetent technicians to my home to check the A/C. I've pretty much been scammed out of $225 total from paying the deductibles to the technicians who came to check my A/C three times in the past few months. I am a first time homeowner and it's easy for people to take advantage of you when you know very little. First I was told I just needed to change the filter, second time I was told that I just needed more coolant, and FINALLY I was told that my A/C (R22) phased out as of January 2020. The last technician who came sent the report to my warranty that my A/C units needs to be replaced to R410A & it's been 3 weeks the warranty still haven't made a decision. With the Texas weather being bipolar like usual, I couldn't wait any longer. I had an AirBnB guest staying in my guest bedroom so waiting for my warranty to give me an answer was no longer an option. I did a quick Google search and found EZ Air Conditioning & Heating close to my home with amazing reviews. Gave them a call for an opinion regarding my situation and first guy I spoke to was very knowledgeable. Educated me about my phased out A/C and recommended it would be best to invest in brand new A/C unit. I was honestly hoping for "cheap" repair so I kept researching on Google after I got off the phone with EZ A/C & Heating. 10 min later I got a call from Jonathan (supervisor/manager at EZ Air Conditioning). Jonathan was frank with me and he listened to my situation. Jonathan advised me that most cases the warranty will take an insanely long time to make a decision and he was right. Jonathan was so sweet and was on top of everything when I finally decided to apply for financing so that EZ Air Conditioning can install the new units on my day off. He sent Enrique to come to my home to do an estimate and Enrique was also the one who came after the installation was done to explain how my new A/C works. I am extremely satisfied with their service and helpfulness. Carrier A/C review: They did the installation on Feb 21st and my house now heats/cool the way I want it to within MINUTES. We got the "best" top of the line model which was $12k to finance minus $1k for the CPS rebate but so far no regrets. I do wish there were some discounts applied like 10% off because it is quite an expensive unit. The "Infinity Air Purifier" was offered as an upgrade in the agreement I signed but I declined it because their upgrade price was quite expensive. When I looked up the model online, it was 50-70% cheaper. Infinity Thermostat: Rating 2/5 :( The thermostat itself is amazing but the "MyInfinity" app doesn't actually work. I thought I would be able to control the temperature on the phone app but it doesn't sync with the actual thermostat at all. I went to the Apple App Store and the app has 1 star from almost all of the users. Carrier "top of the line" unit is so expensive, you'd think there would be a better app for it. Ez Air Conditioning & Heating is an excellent company with exceptional service. Our relationship with Ez started in the fall of 2016 when one of our systems stopped working on a Saturday morning. We called around trying to find someone who would come take a look. We called the company that installed our existing systems (and did not receive a return telephone call until Tuesday afternoon - some three days later!). We also called Ez and explained to them we had an event at our home that evening and fortunately they sent over Chris Gomez. He determined our blower motor had gone bad. By now it was 11:30 am. He called the warehouse to get the part and they closed at 12:00 noon. Chris convinced them to stay there until he arrived. He picked up the part, returned to the house, installed it and we had A/C for our party. All without a weekend service surcharge. Chris then gave us his personal cell number and told us to call him anytime we had a problem. We did call or text him on a couple of occasions and he called or texted a response within an hour! That level of service made us a loyal customer. Fast forward to July 2017 and again, we had problems with one of our systems. Diagnosis - it was time to replace. Because of Chris Gomez and his service, we did not shop around and actually decided to have BOTH of our HVAC systems completely replaced. Ez Air Conditioning arrived as scheduled, installed both systems in a day and left our home neat and clean as if they had never been there. To start off, EZ Air Conditioning and Heating is one of the best companies I have worked with. Let me tell you a tale of 3 HVAC companies... I had an issue where the blower motor on my indoor HVAC unit would occasionally refuse to run, this is an ECM blower motor, not a capacitor one, so the part to fix it is rather pricey, luckily, my indoor unit is under warranty until 2025. I had HVAC company #1 come out, $89 diagnostic fee, they diagnosed it as a bad ECM blower and asked for $1300 to fix it, parts and labor... because "we don't do warranty work"... Thanks for not bringing that up when I called you out to diagnose a warranty repair... I had HVAC company #2 come out, $75 diagnostic fee, diagnosed it as a bad ECM blower, they do warranty repairs, but not for Carrier because "we are waiting on some money from Carrier for some previous warranty work"... Thanks for not bringing that up when I called you our to diagnose a warranty repair on a Carrier unit... Finally I called EZ, told them what had happened with the previous 2 companies... EZ assured me that they do warranty work, on Carrier units. They sent Rudy out, he diagnosed it as a bad ECM motor, had the part the very next day, installed it in about 45 minutes, and I haven't had a problem since. EZ got the part under the warranty, and because they wanted to help me out because of the horrible experience I had with other companies, they even worked with me rest of the cost. EZ Air entered our situation after our insurance claim being in idle for 2 months and quickly saw the situation for what it was: 4 kids, No AC plus mid Texas summer...ALL BAD. Our homeowners insurance company was working slowly & they were trying to have us fix a lightning struck unit, not replace. Once EZ Air saw first hand our situation, provided a detailed report to our insurance. They also went above & took compassion on our situation and offered room coolers in mean time while our insurance was slowly investigating our claim and when the HO Insur. came back with a offer to repair only, EZ Air jumped into action and sent them a detailed letter in response tho their irresponsible and erroneous decision. By the grace of God they partnered with us and pushed through the process with numerous phone calls, emails and follow ups along side myself to the HO Insur and we were eventually approved for our unit to be replaced, in which we did rightly so with EZ AIR. June 14, 2023 , I had another A/C company come to perform regular maintenance on my A/C unit. The entire time the Tech was looking at my air handler in the attic, all he would talk about was what was wrong with the unit. Went to the outside unit to check it out and I asked him to rewrap the cold line to the air handler with insulation and tape. He immediately said, well with this unit with the condition it is in, lets see what we find. I will ad that I was watching and asking questions the entire time he was working. He then proceeded to start insisting that I need a new unit and quoted me a price of 19,556,00. After he left I began to realize, he did not actually do 90% of the required maintenance check. I called E Z Air Conditioning and the sent out Manny the next day. I had Manny write down everything he checked doing the maitenance. Manny explained everything he was doing before and explained what the results should be. I was impressed. Guess what, Manny found that I had an underperforming capacitor. I have been doing business with EZ Air for over nine years. Their General Manager, Jonathan, and staff are five star all the way. They are honest and reasonable. For example, I recently had them install a new air conditioning system (Last June, 2023). The old system had a UV light system, but when they de-installed the old system the UV system went with them. After Jonathan and I talked, we agreed that if the UV System was in the new system, it would probably need a new light, but if it wasn't there, they owed me a UV System. Robert, who is an unbelievably competent and friendly technician, came and inspected the system while performing systems maintenance and installing a new filter. He reported that the UV System was not in the new system. Two days later, AT NO COST TO US, Robert came back and installed a brand new UV System. Since I decided to completely replace everything including ducts, registers etc., cost became important. Still, money isn't everything so, I really had to consider the folks I was dealing with. After 16 years it was time to upgrade to a new energy-efficient AC unit. I called EZ and they were out that same day to give me an estimate. I had already received 3 estimates from other companies and EZ gave me a much higher SEER unit for the same cost. They came in and the unit was installed inside and out quickly. They were friendly and professional. Enrique, the president of the company, stopped in to check in on the installation and answer any questions I had. I recommend using them for all your AC needs. I have since been monitoring my daily usage via the CPS website. My normal usage was about 35 kWh a day and now it has dropped to 21 or 22, and I'm running the AC at a cooler temperature. So suddenly at 4pm on a really hot day my AC dies. I called EZ Air and they had someone at my place by 6pm! The technician (Jaime Martinez) checked the whole system and was able to identify and fix the problem on the same day. Throughout the whole process he was explaining how the ac system works and on top of that he was really honest. He was not trying to up sell anything which is great because the 2 previous AC Companies that came to my house tried to scare me to buy more of their services. Sunday evening lost HVAC to home. Called EZ Air. Everybody had left for the day further it was after hours. Mr. Zuniga answered the phone. He advise based on preliminary information it may be a capacitor. He was in the middle of something I know he was. He thought about me and my family. He stated he was on his way. He arrived within the hour. He diagnosed the situation replaced the capacitor tested system and I was up and running. Interior of home had climbed up to 80 degrees. Everyone from the owner, office manage to the install team, were great to work with, very professional & hard working group of people. Install day was very cold & very rainy. We call EZ Air anytime we have an AC issue and have called for multiple times since 8/28/09 for repairs and service. The office is prompt at answering the call and returning calls. The service techs have identified the problems and made suggestions for repair that were affordable and alternative suggestions to keep an old A/C running. Javier was our tech today 08/27/2023, he continued the tradition of good service and had the A/C running quickly. They carry a large inventory of parts on the truck and usually the repairs are completed in one visit. I highly recommend this company. read more

Our Carrier AC compressor seized on a nice balmy afternoon, so I called around for quotes to replace it. Rosalinda called me back with a thorough quote including both types of Freon and labor only for replacement under warranty. We scheduled the repair for the next day. Chris and Jaime called ahead of their visit, were on time and had the compressor changed out and system running in a couple of hours. Great service!
