Wow. Super impressed. I love that this was only 9 minutes from my office. I love the grab and go salads and snacks and energy bites. I love the countless freezers with pre-made meals you could grab. I've had two experiences with this place now and both were awful. The first experience was when I ordered a teriyaki turkey burger for delivery. It. Was. So. Gross. The meat was unseasoned and had a funk to it and the sauce tasted like it had artificial sweetener in it. I didn't finish my meal. The second experience was when I stopped in for a smoothie. The place was empty, but it was about a 10 minute wait. The smoothie was watery and tasted like it had a ton of artificial sweetener in it. So so gross. I threw it away. read more

I made a call in order to the restaurant for a Philly Flat bread and sweet potato fries, around lunch time. I will say you may want to call ahead because there was a line of around 8 people when I went into the restaurant. However , I only had to wait 5 minutes to get my food after calling in. It is a very spacious restaurant with plenty of seating and room to walk around. The cashiers were really helpful and cheerful which was a nice touch. Now I DEMOLISHED the entire plate. I am someone who eats lower calorie/ low fat foods but aims to still hit my macros. But my unbiased opinion would be this food is really good without all the extra ingredients that may be deemed " unhealthy ". The chipotle ranch on the flat bread really moistened up the sandwich and gave a nice spice kick. The quantity of sweet potato fries was very disappointing as it may have been only 6 waffle fries in total. Then again it is a lower calorie meal so that may be the reason. My total for the meal was 11.24 which is fair as I was very full and satiated. I will definitely come back and try new meals as well. On another note; you can buy meal preps, supplements, and other healthy treats in the restaurant as well. read more

So the cashier processing the order, I let him know that I would like to pay separately. He then adds the total wrong and I have to correct him which he then says "oh my bad" how do you mess up a bill with a calculator? Long-story short he charges it all to one card. After realizing he doesn't know what to do I tell him to please call the manager. The manager ANGIE then says "I'm not physically there but I'm going to see what I can do" no apologies for the inconvenience , no I do understand but I'm going to see what I can do ok? So after 10 minutes they finally reverse it, I then ask are you able to do anything as far as a discount or comp she says unfortunately I am not. It's not about the money, it's the principle or in their case, lack of. Do not spend your money here! Since it's in walking distance from us. Inside has a nice lay out. It's clean! And everyone is welcoming. I love love the meal prep area. Everything you can imagine. I ordered the combo. I got the turkey burger, bbq chickpeas, and a unsweeted tea. My other half got the bison burger, bbq chickpeas, and a unsweetened tea too. And I honestly have to say it was fresh and pretty tasty. Now the bison burger could have been a little bigger. But it was probably that portion. I'm thinking for portion control. But my greedy self... Did want more. Lol! Honestly I enjoyed the whole meal! Ordered food for delivery. Got it super fast! Great customer service through grub hub. Got my food, but not my drink that they charged me for. Not that big of a deal but just FYI. Probably won't order for delivery any more because it's just a weird process that doesn't give you many options plus I don't think they double check you're getting your drink. Will be going inside myself tho. The food was good. I got the build it yourself bowl. Chicken, brown rice, asparagus and tomatoes. Tasted great with the side of teriyaki sauce. I've visited 3 more times since my review and they still cannot seem to cater to my dietary restrictions. It is both frustrating and confusing at this point. If you have such high demand that you can't keep it in I would think you would see a need there. I do also go on restock day! Disappointing. I was very interested in their meal plan and placed an order for 10 meals. I got the order confirmation but no indication that my order was ready for pick up. No email and no phone call. With my busy schedule I really just forgot I even placed the order and when I did call there was nothing I could do but place another order? No credit for the $85 worth of food I purchased the first time. And with 10 meals for someone just sitting there, you would think someone from the store would have reached out. I was really excited about the large selection of options on the menu. Decided on a medium bowl which I did all veggies, and skipped the protein category. Meal was hot and ready within a reasonable amount of time, however the portion to price ratio was very disappointing. Paying 13$ for what I would consider a child size portion of cauliflower rice, carrots, a few brussel sprouts, banana peppers, black beans and 3 pieces of broccoli is why I won't be returning. I really wanted to completely like/enjoy more my most recent visit at Clean Eatz in Norfolk Virginia for multiple reasons: the employee taking the food order from my husband and I was cordial and the drink that came with the bowl that I ordered was refreshing. I selected a small build a bowl that included salmon quinoa and kale cherry tomatoes spinach banana peppers with salmon cilantro lime sauce and clean herbz option with a Yo Yo Berry smoothie. The small bowl I ordered tasted delish however the berry smoothie I ordered tasted differently than I expected. The fruit in the smoothie tasted fine however I may have been far from use to the taste of whichever smoothie crème andor vanilla powder that comes with the smoothie. My husband selected the black & bleu chicken salad with a chocolate covered strawberry smoothie. The salad dressing that came with my husband's salad and the chickpeas tasted differently than he expected and naturally he only had a few bites of the salad. However if I ever return to ordering something else from Clean Eatz I might just order the small bowl option only that comes with the choice of liquid drink. read more

My husband and I had lunch. He had a steak salad and I had a small bowl. The ingredients were so fresh! There were so many delicious options it was hard to decide. The drink options were so refreshing. I tried all of them and went back for seconds on the hibiscus tea. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The dining room was bright and clean.
