We decided that the best way to insure quality job was to contract with a professional. After receiving quotations from several companies we decided to go with Bernal Painting LLC. Jeff fully explained their process and suggested some things that would improve longevity that other companies did not. The crew arrived as promised and were courteous and professional. The deck was cleaned and power washed. This was followed by sanding and scrapping where required. 2 coats of stain was applied by brush to ensure all and cracks and crevices were covered. Clean up was thorough. We are very pleased with the results and highly recommend Bernal Painting for deck staining projects!

Schultz and McGinnis Painters were the subcontractors for our kitchen remodel. They painted new…read moredrywall and primed and painted the trim and cabinetry. From the start, they were well organized and communicative, arranging for us to have a color consultation with their paint supplier, so that we would have our design decisions made when the other steps in the project were complete, and the room was ready for them. I'd say that 'meticulous' was the most appropriate word for every part of our experience with Jordan and Matt. Their web site has an entire section entitled 'Prep Work', and they truly followed through on that part of the job, making sure every surface got the proper treatment it needed (no matter how grueling) in order to ensure that the finish coats looked their best. For our cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and full sized paneled door, they took them all off site (each piece carefully wrapped), and spray painted them in the controlled conditions of their shop. For the trim and all the cabinets, Schultz and McGinnis used a Water Based Acrylic Alkyd paint, which is something I had never heard of. My understanding is that this paint has the durability and the smooth finish of an oil based paint, but is a much lower VOC product. What I can say for sure is that it looks amazing, and has stood up to the miscellaneous remaining work that took place on our project without any visible damage. Having lived with it for a couple of weeks now, I'm still thrilled with the look of their work. Schultz and McGinnis got along beautifully with our primary contractor, and their communication and coordination paid off in the results of our project. The best thing I could say about any service provider is that I would work with them again without hesitation, and that is most certainly the case with Schultz and McGinnis Painting Note: their web site indicates a second phone number, but the Add A Business form does not allow more than one. Alux Painting just completed an exterior repaint of my 15-year-old house, and 12-year-old shop. Of the 3 quotes we obtained, Daniel's was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. Information contained in the quote, and during my discussion when Daniel came out to look at my buildings, about repair to the trim boards was THE deciding factor - we knew that Daniel would do the right things, we did not have that confidence in the other two contractors from whom we obtained quotes. Daniel and his crew were responsive to questions - including the one dumb question that I asked where I realized I was wrong after Daniel's explanation. As the work drew to a close, there were a couple of items that my wife or I found, and they were addressed on the spot. We're very happy with the final result.

I never thought I would find a company that would exceed…read moreexpectations but Pacific Sky Remodeling painted the outside of my house- and their family-owned business deserved every star and I would give six if I could! They really know what they are doing, and they were able to fix several issues on our house that we had priced out with other companies. Marco gave us such a good deal and such a fair price. His workers work very hard and left a place clean afterwards. They fixed our rotting wood spots on our chimney and they patched several holes in the siding. Lots of painters would have just covered it up with fresh coat of paint and we would've been back to needing a new paint in a couple of years, but this company really takes pride and its work lasting and you can tell because they go the extra mile to your home as their own. It's taken me over a year to post this review because life has been busy but they impressed me so much that a year later. I'm still thinking about writing them this review because they were just so amazing and I should've written it a long time ago.
