The smoothie I had tasted good, but at the same time, it was too diluted with ice. The store has nice high-powered blenders, yet they didn't blend the frozen pumpkin balls well, so I'm sure this threw off the taste :(. I've paid the same price for smoothies at other places, that have a milkier consistency to them, instead of the icy consistency the smoothies at Clean Juice have. Still, I love the concept of the store and the fact that most ingredients are organic. I appreciate that Clean Juice takes a serious approach to wellness in the smoothie industry. I love the decor and atmosphere of the store. It sells merchandise, but doesn't come across gimicky the way other places do. This place is worth trying at least once. I will enjoy it once in awhile, but it won't be my go-to smoothie place. Used to love this place. But every time i order from them on any delivery app my entire order is missing or wrong and i ended up wasting $40-$50. Don't partner with delivery apps if you can't give the drivers the right orders buy looking at the receipt first. If you come here to try their acai bowls please don't. It's pretty bad. Very below average 4/10. The base itself didn't taste good. The sweetness of the base was a 2 with a weird after taste. the only thing right about it was the texture and how cold it was. Granola is okay. I've had places much better than this. It was worse than a franchise acai bowl place which I would usually rate a 6/7. They ran out of toppings (I.e strawberries and cacao nips) so I just had bananas on top. Ruined my day eating this. I have only posted once before on yelp concerning any place of business, my experience has been nothing but Awesome! Michelle and her staff have been so great in providing detailed information concerning the detox system. Today would make Day 6 and I feel so renewed and refreshed. It was disappointing to pay $12 for a green juice to stand back and watch the drink begin with a base of water. Yes, water. The guy put nearly a cup of water in the container that gathers the juice before he began to juice the veggies. I don't recommend paying $12 for a diluted green juice. That's a rip off. read more

Having moved back from California 2 years ago, I have been on the search for a great juice place that is comparable. Naperville has been missing this, so I'd give 5 stars just for the fact that Clean Juice opened at 95th street! However, I think it's missing the mark. If this review was based solely on the aesthetics of Clean Juice, it would receive a 5. The decor is adorable and it LOOKS awesome. The dissapointment lays in the prices, the quality, and most of all - the knowledge of the staff. As far as prices go, as someone who shops all organic, I totally understand the higher pricing for produce, etc. This would be totally fine if the quality matched, but it is sub par. The bottled juices are good, I liked both the celery and the red juice. However, the Greens acai bowl was nearly flavorless, as if the person making it added ONLY ice and a few ingredients. It literally tasted like spinach flavored ice. Totally lacked in flavor and was NOT worth the crazy prices. I hope they can correct this. Because what I had was not worth the hype at all. As far as the staff, I hate to say it - but someone needs to train these kids better. A ton of people are unfamiliar to juices and ingredients these entail. My husband, for example, was asked "do you want whey or hemp protein with that?" I know the difference, but he doesn't. When he asked the workers behind the counter, they couldn't tell him the difference which I think is a a bit concerning? Also, when I asked her the price of the kid's smoothie, she took about 3 whole minutes of fumbling around to find the price. On our first trip in, (the night of opening night when all had died down) - we asked what coffee they serve, as in, where do they get their coffee from..is it a local roaster, etc? Again, no one could tell us. Instead, they just said "we serve cold brew". I brushed it off and laughed inside because the girl clearly had no clue. The entire staff each time i've been in has been kids who look no older than 16 and they act like it too. I'm not against them hiring younger workers - we were all those kids once! But atleast make sure your workers have the slightest clue about what they are serving the public and how to prepare it. Whenever we have asked a question, they stare at us blankly. All in all, I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5, but a 3 for this purpose. I am hoping they take some of the feedback they receive to improve. :) read more

This place has awful customer service. This is the 2nd bad experience I've had in a short time. Placed an online order at 6:50 (payment taken). Clean juice employee calls me immediately after and told me they were "like almost closed". I said it was 6:50-I thought they closed at 7:00. He then told me they were already closed and said I could pick up my smoothie tomorrow. ?!?! I declined and just the irritating part is no apology or explanation (I get these were young kids probably cleaning up early).
