I don't mind the price of $90 for pickup/drop off laundry, but the constant texting back and forth, the handling, and basic customer service was really unprofessional. I acknowledge that the confirmation email went to the wrong address, but it should not have taken over two weeks to get my mother's laundry back. When finding out what went wrong, the whole transaction wasn't handled professionally. After two weeks, my mom's laundry was dropped off in front of her apartment door. No phone call, no attempt to reach her or me. At least they took a picture and texted it to me proving delivery. Thankfully, no one took it. When things go wrong in business, you bend over backwards to fix it. I didn't see this happening, just excuses and no solution. I realize that mistakes happen. But the frequent texting, delay in delivery, making excuses, a week delay in payment (you should let customers know about different/faster payment options than PayPal), then dropping them off outside a front door without communication is unacceptable.

My very first experience there was difficult because it was a language barrier between me and the attendant, and he treated me as if I was a vagrant instead of paying Customer because I have to use the restroom pretty badly and I didn't want to bring all my stuff in before and risk an accident.. and while I understand, no one has to be kind at work. It does help to have compassion for people. Piper was super helpful without being overbearing and was able to keep not all the peace and calm but an upbeat and very neighborhood friendly atmosphere.. I live pretty close to this laundromat so I have used it MANY times and have spent hundreds of…read moredollars there. I don't always like the smell of the washing machines and but beggers cannot be choosers. Today, as I was preparing to go out the door I noticed a worker who had been eyeing me over and over now staring me down as I went out the door. I had just spent a good amount of money in there as I am washing a lot of clothes to prepare for a move. It's not like I went in there and tried to sneak free dries. I was in there for hours and spent MONEY. I was waiting by the road for my uber and the woman came out and stood right by me practically shoulder to shoulder -- and did not say anything. I was on the phone with my mother and even made a comment that someone had followed me out and did not speak to me. And she remained wordless. I then showed her my phone to show I had a ride coming and she looked at my phone and remained there. Then a gentleman pulled up and told me I had to move closer to the building -- so I did. I was standing in a PARKING SPOT when they told me "NO IN THE DOORWAY!" I go to stand there -- and realize how disgusted I felt. So I stepped away from my bags and went over to the gentleman's vehicle to ask him if he was the owner so I could explain what happened. He basically flashed me away with his hand and spoke over me. And then as I was waiting for the ride (it was 10:15 at night so it took awhile to connect with a driver who was 8 mins away) the owner was walking in circles staring at me over and over and over again. The wildest part was when the driver arrived and was helping me load the car he commented "D***, are they checking on you?" He had been there for 15 seconds and witnessed those people eyeing me without even knowing what was going on. To the point that he made a comment! The owner was waiting for the cart as I left and I rolled it back into his hands. And stupidly I tried to explain myself again. I am so happy I am moving so I never have to go back to that place again. They are very clearly racist. And I'm not schocked at all that other people in the comments have had negative experiences. I wish I had been spending my hard earned money elsewhere. Why would I have been spending money there all this time just to turn around a steal a CART? If I show you that the ride is coming why not just believe me? It's clear why not! I would not recommend this place at all. Find a place that knows how to deep clean the smaller internal pieces so there is not machine funk.
