I'm writing this review a few weeks later than my service but that should tell you how great they are that I've made it a point to come back and leave a review. The owner Alex is incredible. I called sleep deprived and desperate to get a laundry service to help me I the middle of the day when my puppy was sick. They sent someone out within a few hours to do an early evening pickup for me and I had my laundry back the very next day, dropped off before 12! Alex answered all of my questions on the phone, and was patient with me as I was a little scatter brained from lack of sleep and stress. The pick up and delivery driver was also amazing! He was kind very personable. The pricing is also fantastic. Worth the service you get without completely gutting your bank account. Will be using them again! 10/10! This is my second review! This service is beyond perfect! Not only are my clothes folded and clean but most importantly they smell clean! This company also follows directions- ie I requested my whites to be washed in hot water and I could tell that it was done! I love Life Without Laundry The washers and dryers in our building a horrible... There's dryers in our building a horrible, and I don't have the time and energy anymore to do laundry. I started using Life Without Laundry along while ago about two years and they have been amazing. The communication is great. The couriers are the nicest they always get laundry done and all folded and ready to be worn again and if there's any issues or any changes, you can text the owner directly, which is amazing , I would recommend this service. I love where i live, but my building is without any washers or dryers, and doesn't allow us to install anything in-unit. Recently, i became so allergic to fragrances, etc. that if I went to the laundromat and the person who used a machine before me overdid it at all with their detergent/dryer sheets, i could still get a reaction. I am obsessed with LWL! I've used a few other laundry services in LA and have found LWL to be the best one. All of my clothes are well cleaned, dried, folded and in perfect condition when returned to me. I like how they are able to follow washing instructions I outline including not using fabric softener, hang drying specific items, and also removing tough stains. This is an incredibly useful service if you don't have a w/d in unit and don't want to do your own laundry. The one thing to note is if you do contactless drop off/pickup the delivery and pick up hand is quite large. If you hand the delivery directly to the driver you can have a more narrow delivery band, but this may be worth nothing if you prefer contactless delivery and don't want to leave your clothes sitting outside for longer periods of time. This being said they do message you when they're on their way so you can grab your clothes or drop them outside. read more

O.M.G. Well, I had to take care of a WHOLE LOT of laundry for my very elderly mother, and had to have it picked up and delivered to her. I had high hopes since they responded so quickly when I placed my order but the day I scheduled for laundry pickup I heard from no one and they used "weather delay" as an excuse . It would of been nice to have some form of communication in between the 2 hr pickup window even if it's a delay at least communicate that. Make sure you weigh your laundry. They said mine weighed 18 pounds, only gave me 13 pounds back. They said laundry loses about 2 pounds when it's clean. Still missing 3 pounds. Turns out they'd weighed my laundry with a bottle of detergent on the scale. Super sketch. I thought I was missing clothing but the employees don't speak English so hard to find out. 2 minutes ago First time trying them again in months and they have quickly reminded me as to why I stopped using their service. Now that we've gotten our $7 or $14 coupon for our reviews. Can we discuss the double weight charges and keep it real? I've just paid $163.1 not for car insurance, groceries, cable, my kids braces or a flight anywhere - but for laundry. I'll allow that sink in for you as I've never experienced such exorbitant charges in New York for subpar wash and fold services. As it was just explained to me in an email exchange below I think I'll be doing my own laundry or finding a better more affordable competitor. I would suggest you do the same if you're paying this egregious cost in the midst of Covid19 or even during "normal" times. It's definitely not worth the cost and money can be best spent elsewhere. From Life Without Laundry: " There is no difference ever. 2 charges will always accompany any order which weighs more than the 15 lb min you pre pay for always online. Reminder how billing works: You can send out however much you want. We will charge and send you an email receipt if over the 15 lb min you already paid for. No maximum! All laundry billed at same rate 2.50 per lb. So there is the initial 15 lbs you pay for and then any extra is just that, extra on top of the 15 lbs.
