That she was much more professional than existing companies such as Consignworks - claiming she would be there with her crew, unpack and then repack all items, identifying what should be in the sale and items to exclude. That Consignworks only takes on clients they believe they can "manipulate". We set aside 2 days, one of which I took the day off from work. She showed up late, and then convinced me I should first go through my personal items and that should would come back at 2:00pm on Sunday. Sunday at 1:30, she called saying she was in Brimfield, MA - I live in Weston, asking if I had done anything. REMEMBER - SHE SAID I WOULD HAVE AN "EFFORTLESS" MOVE. She said that we should wait until I went through everything. OK, so she charges 30% of total sales for doing WHAT? Not to mention that I put aside my time expecting this woman and her company to be there, only to receive excuses as to why she shouldn't come. Can you say "FIRED"??? Do yourself a favor and don't ever trust this company - EVER!

Take your chances coming here. They might be closed without any notice for a "store meeting". They…read morerandomly close sections when they are pissed at employees who are responsible for said sections (the Book area was closed for several months because apparently the employee who was supposed to organize it didn't satisfy the owner). Today half of the store was sectioned off and unavailable, limiting their stock to less than half of what they have. Signs say that this is due to "reorganization", but employees have no information as to when it will be opened up and shoppers can only look at half of the store across barricaded pathways. I've never been at a store that can't manage inventory reorganization during off hours, especially given the amount of store closures this location has due to staff meetings (which I've also never seen a retail store be closed for). It's super frustrating that the store can't get their act together. Every "improvement" comes at the cost of customer convenience. It's honestly like the owner has never worked in a retail environment before. I keep trying to find things to like about this store, as it used to be one of my absolute favorites. Needless to say, they're making it incredibly hard to find reasons to come here. Side note: the staff are the only redeeming aspect of the store.

My invoice was under $100 but the retail value and rarity of some pieces was priceless. When my credit card on file had expired so the night before ai attempted to add the new card to pay. It kept asking me for a code as I entered the code they sent it would not let me proceed. I attempted maybe 15 times until I gave up The next morning around 10:30 daily of pick up i tried again and eve went well I was able to make payment anf finalize my purchase. In the afternoon we drove one hournto the pick up location. When I arrived I was told my items were gone. I was confused and asked what do you mean gone? Well they told me maxsold called then and said I didn't napy and give my items away for free to whomever wanted.so someone took my jewellery lot for free and I was stunned as how something like this could happen. I called in and the conversation didn't go well . In the middle I was told they were going to hang up on me. After much back and forth therly offered to refund my total payment and that was that. I lost the items I had won in auction. I was so upset I cried . Those items were special and I was looking forward to aquire them . Although material things are material things at the end of the day it was the failier on their end that is unnuceptable and so unprofessional.
