We had just finished a complete renovation of our master bathroom and were in the process of cleaning up after the construction dust. We arranged for Clean Services Northwest to clean the inside of all of our windows, and they were able to come with relatively short notice. Sean did the work and completed it quickly but precisely. Before he left, he also asked that I examine all the windows, so that he could remove any smudges that I noticed. There were none. The management company for our entire condo complex in Portland uses this company for our exterior window washing with excellent results. I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Clean Services NW. Setting up the appointment was a breeze. I called on a Sunday and left a message, knowing no one would even be there, but Rachel called me back in a timely manner and was a pleasure to deal with. I didn't catch the name of the guy who showed up to do the work, but he was great. The appointment was set for between 8:30 and 9:00 am arrival. He was here at 8:25! Did a fantastic job on all windows, including skylights and some hard to reach areas. Rachel had given me a ballpark estimate on the phone based on my input of how many windows, and I thought it was a fair price. Imagine my surprise when the final bill was $50 LESS than the original estimate! Okay, that never happens. By the way, I found this company by researching window washers on Yelp. Electronic blind worked upon their arrival and was broken in the process of cleaning. The ownership takes no responsibility and has suggested all ways in which it isn't their fault. They never even offered to examine it in person. Luckily I withheld payment in anticipation of discussing it with the owner to come to a resolution. If I hadn't done so I would be out the cost of the repair, probably around $200.00. Total bill was $667.00. So disappointing as the windows looked good! I had an appt with this company to clean my windows. They never showed up or called. When I called, they said they would be there in 1-2 hours and never showed up again!! The next day, I rescheduled for noon, they showed up at 5pm (again, no phone call)! I spent a lot of time waiting around for them. When they arrived, it took them 45 minutes to get started- they sat in the vans and stayed in the street talking. Here's some context as to why the one star review: May 15th- scheduled power washing, window cleaning and carpets for Friday, June 2nd. I had to do a lot of legwork with pictures and estimating size of windows, but whatever. May 30th (3 days prior to scheduled date)- I receive a call that they can no longer do the job on June 2nd due to a staff shortage. I'm even asked if I know anyone who needs a job. I was told we would be put on a list and once they are staffed up again I would receive a call to reschedule. June 1st at 12:15PM- While I was at work, a voicemail was left that they can now do the job on June 2nd and to call them back June 1st at 12:50PM- I call back and I'm now told that they gave my appointment to someone else. Now, I understand that things happen. I'm willing to overlook the fact that I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out and they are canceling 3 days prior to what we agreed on. What I'm not ok with is my appointment being given away within 35 minutes when I was asked to call them back! I had the windows on two properties serviced by them in July 2014. The results were acceptable however I was not impressed by their attention to detail. One house had been painted & not all the paint was scraped off. I had to remove and repair a storm window. When I gave it back I found that they never cleaned or reinstalled it. When I tried to, I broke it. I had to remind them four times to clean the storm window on the front screen door - the first thing you see as you enter. The basement has three ground level windows that were very dirty and were not touched. Perhaps they didn't regard them as part of the job. I just finished three hours tedious work to do them myself. This was a two day job. The foreman left on the afternoon of the second day and didn't seem to leave instructions to the worker who had to wing it for the rest of the job. I purchased a Living Social deal and was extremely dissatisfied and the only reason I gave them 1 star is because it doesn't let me put no stars! They misrepresented their offer and provided very poor customer service and as a result I canceled my deal. The deal was spend $50 and get $100 worth of window cleaning. I intended to have a few windows cleaned (they told me I could get 36 window panes for the $100). When they showed up on the day of my service, I was told it was their policy to have to clean ALL of the windows in my house. And that anything over 36 panes I was going to have to pay for. NOWHERE on the offer did it state this policy!!! I did not want all of my windows done; the whole point of me purchasing the deal was to try out this business and if I liked them I would used them in the future. After speaking to the representative on the phone while the service men waited outside, she agreed to only do the few windows that I requested (and I even agreed to pay for a few extra windows because they told me they had to do all the upstairs windows). I though all was resolved. But then the service guy came back in and told me they could not do that...it was all or nothing. Even AFTER they agreed over the phone 2 minutes earlier!! Needless to say I then chose nothing and asked for my money back from Living Social. Horrible, horrible customer service considering THEY offered the deal. DO NOT do business with them. read more

I want to give a big thanks to Clean Services Northwest's Rachel, Shawn and Jonathan! Rachael was the first person I spoke with and she sold me without even trying. Rachel addressed all of my concerns in an easy going but patient and professional manner. Shawn is the rep that came out to our home to inspect and explain all they do to clean our windows. I'm a stickler for streaks, even one, on my windows. I have six that face the sun and I made it very clear that the windows have to be perfect! Shawn was great! I have new windows and it turns out that there is film and stuff from being new and Shawn was great explaining all the details of getting the job done with a very fair price. And then there is Jonathan! What a great guy and he gets the credit for me to keep coming back to them for my window cleaning. He was diligent to ensure the windows came out perfect and they did. He was very social and gave lots of tips on how to clean a window. I felt quite comfortable around him because he's so personable.
