My husband and I have used Clean Sweep LA on a couple of occasions. In one instance, we had Clean Sweep LA perform a deep clean prior to my newborn's  arrival from the hospital. Okay I have put this off for far too long. Exquisite work! I have regularly used clean sweep LA for my office and just had them deep clean my house. Holy cow! Keep in mind my home was recently renovated so a lot of left over dust and residue. This home looks amazing now! I could eat off of the floor and not even be grossed out. They wiped every single cabinet, handle, baseboard, console, table I can go on and on. It's nice to have it all taken care of and not need to micro manage it. Highly highly recommend! I can't say enough good things about Clean Sweep LA! I inquired about a deep clean as I have been working very long hours and haven't been able to keep up with cleaning in my one bedroom apartment. Much to my delight they fit me in three days later. Frank and Joselyn arrived at the tail end of my hour window (which was no problem!) and were extremely friendly and jumped right into work. I had my doubts because scheduling wasn't the easiest. However on round 2 of scheduling Evelyn and Glenda were right on time. I got a 3 hour deep clean in a 700 sq foot house. They divided and conquered my house and it is immaculate. There are multiple places in the bathroom where I thought the grime was just permanent or corrosion of some sort that wasn't there anymore! They stayed an extra 45 minutes to finish up and double check. The ladies were wonderfully considerate of sharing my small space while I had my baby and were super careful and meticulous! I have used Clean Sweep LA twice, hiring them for a deep clean when moving out of apartment. They have done a great job both times and I recommend them. The most recent time I used them was on Memorial Day and they did a great job deep cleaning my vacated bedroom, common area of movers' dust and with extra time left over they deep cleaned the oven and stove top. There is a 2 hour min with a min of 2 cleaners, which comes to $130, which may be more than I wanted to spend BUT I researched 1 cleaner at an hourly rate on Task Rabbit and most were $100+/hour (granted this was on Memorial Day). They will expect you to pay for parking for the cleaners, FYI and add it the day of to your invoice. I think they should mention that in their quote but they don't. read more

Such a great cleaning service! Maids were able to do what was originally supposed to be 4 hours in just around 3 hours! Super great job and everything felt so nice to be reset in the apartment. So far, I submitted a request for a quote through the website and did not receive it after a few hours so I called. They said they had sent it to me, but I did not receive it. Its not in my junk mail either..weird. Regardless we went over pricing on the phone. The rep I spoke to was clear and pleasant. We have scheduled an appointment for deep cleaning of 1 BR, 1 BTH, kitchen, dining room and living room including inside appliances. I was told this Job will take around 3 hours with 2 cleaners but that they will update that estimate when they arrive. Stay tuned. If they can meet the 3 hours, and do a fabulous job, I will upgrade to 5 stars. Updated 2 hours later to 4 stars. They did respond quickly with a quote. I missed it in my Junk mail box. This error was discovered when someone called me to make sure my email was correct as they saw it sent out on their end. Great customer service so far! WOWOWOW! I used this service once before and was a little disappointed but there were so many good reviews that I decided to give them another chance, and did not regret it! The two cleaners who came this time (Daisy and Eliu) were fantastic!!! I'm ashamed to admit but my apartment was in a state of chaos and I just didn't have time to clean, I got the deep clean for 3 hours and as soon as they arrived they really got to work! They did all the dishes, wiped everything down, steamed the carpet, and even organized!! They were very careful and thorough, my whole place is sparkling! They cleaned my house after the floors had been replaced. There was a lot of sawdust, which was the main focus of the cleaning. It was everywhere! A 2-person crew cleaned for 4 hours. When they were just about done, I asked them to wipe down the laundry room, and they did that for me, which I appreciated. The overall cleaning was good. Not the most amazing ever, but good. A bit above average, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. In addition, they were on time and one of the crew members spoke English, which was helpful. read more

First-timer customer here! I requested quotes via Yelp about a week prior & they were among the 1st to respond. I contacted their office and asked a ton of questions and the woman who answered was very helpful in making me comfortable about using their services. I decided to hire them and was invoiced for a deposit, however the total due on the invoice was 25% HIGHER than what I was quoted. It was not clearly stated on the invoice why the amount was higher than the quote given, so I called to question why and the man who answered explained that they OVER invoice - but could not articulate why. I paid the deposit after being reassured that this amount would change based on the actual amount of time they stayed to clean. The day of: The cleaners arrived on time and were nice, but told their office that they would need much more time than I KNEW was necessary. They didn't have much to clean, so I wasn't sure if they were just trying to stay a little longer to earn extra money but I ended up allowing them to stay past the 2 hour minimum but not as long as they said they needed. Even with the time limit I gave them, they got all the work done. I tipped them cash & they left. My problem with this company is two-fold: 1) Why quote me a longer clean time when you were able to clean everything in a shorter time period? The customer dictates what needs to be cleaned & how long it should take, NOT the company. 2) Customer service - the guy on the phone has ZERO customer service skills. After my first cleaning experience, one of the maids showed up at my door the following week unannounced and said she did not get paid. So I helped her contact the main office to get it all sorted out. The main office contacted me right away and apologized for the inconvenience and told me they would give me a 50% off the next cleaning service. So I booked another cleaning service, not at 50% discount like they promised, more like 35% (red flag here since they are not following their promise), but decided to give them another chance. The mother daughter team, Linda and Jessica, came to my house on time but were extremely inexperienced. They didn't know how to make beds. They didn't know how to put comforters inside the duvet covers, so I had to teach them how to do it. Then they put murphy oil WITHOUT diluting them with water all over the harwood floors. On top of that , they were stepping on these oily floors with their shoes on into the carpets. I immediately took my own mop and started to mop the oils off the hardwood floors. Also, I had to tell them to clean the plantation shutters with towels, which should be part of a standard cleaning. After 3.5 hours of cleaning, they were not finished with the house (i.e. viking stove and kitchen sinks) but I just told them to leave since I was beyond frustrated. The next hour, I finished cleaning up the house myself with water getting all the oils off the floor. This is the worst cleaning service I've used. I'm going to use a private cleaner and not go for anymore professional cleaning service. read more

So after living in my place for the better part of 19 years, I've opted to redecorate... To prepare for it I will need it a deep clean for my 1 bedroom 1 bath condo... They showed up promptly at 8 assessed the situation and got to work...Maaaaaaaaan, they were incredible!! I consider myself thorough when I clean my bathroom but they made my work look like crap... I tried Clean Sweep and was pretty impressed. I mean, they did a better job cleaning the house than I ever could, including a 50+ year old oven and getting some nasty moldy bits out of our bathroom. Given the apartment had not been professionally cleaned in something like 20+ years (the landlord never had it cleaned before we moved in, we knew the previous tenant) this was quite miraculous, if you think about it. So the Pros are that the ladies sent over by Clean Sweep were able to clean things that I was unable to do so myself in a much more thorough fashion than I could have. The prices were reasonable, and they stayed past the quoted time and did not charge extra just to hit up rooms that they agreed to clean in the initial quote. I was really impressed by that since I was certain given they were past the quoted time that they would expect to be paid extra. I tried to tip generously as a result. They were easy to communicate with and not outwardly judgmental about the state of our apartment. I especially liked that at the end of the cleaning they asked me to take a look around and they happily volunteered to clean any spots I pointed out they missed--even insisting to put in the additional effort when I said it was no big deal. Cons would be a couple of missed spots (who wouldn't miss spots, though?) and the fact that they didn't start on one of the three rooms they were quoted on cleaning until ten minutes before time was up. They did stay over to make sure it was clean, but then they told me the fixtures were "too old" to be cleaned thoroughly. I didn't completely believe that but who knows. I noticed one of the electric stove burners no longer worked after the cleaning but in their defense I'm not sure if it was due to their cleaning or a recent power outage that occurred that same week. One big thing that threw me off is that one of the cleaning ladies broke something in the bathroom (the sink stopper) and then claimed it was already broken before they fixed it. It definitely was not. While I knew the sink was a little clogged before the cleaning, I'm positive the sink stopper was not broken when they arrived since I used it that morning. I wish she had just been honest with me. I was able to use a plunger to unclog the sink and it took about 20 minutes of youtube and digging around under the sink to fix the stopper, so no permanent damage was done. The reality is that sometimes when you're cleaning a disgusting person's house, sometimes things accidentally break. They are solvable, and there is no reason to lie about it. read more

This place is awesome! Both of the cleaners that came in were super friendly and efficient, though it did take them a little longer than I would expect, probably just because I asked for a deep clean instead of a standard one. They hit the bathrooms and kitchen the most as well as the general floor mop and vacuum, and everything looked really nice when they left. The only thing I would say is the entertainment system and the tv in the bedroom were hardly touched and were still dusty/dirty, but given the overall job and the good customer service on the office end, I'd definitely say this service is worth 5 stars all around. The crew of two people they sent was very friendly conscientious. They weren't perfect but I was satisfied with their work. I would have continued to use Clean Sweep but apparently they can't schedule appointments on an every three weeks basis. I had to make each appointment individually. That was a deal-breaker for me. I get it that their computer system apparently didn't provide for every three week appointments automatically. But then it should have been someone's job to do whatever was necessary to handle this internally. It shouldn't have been the customer's problem. read more

After purchasing a LivingSocial special for Martha Maids back in February and still never being able to get a hold of anyone to schedule an appointment, I finally gave up and got a refund. The only problem was that my place was still a hot mess and I am on a tight budget. I called around other cleaning services and they were way too expensive. So, I was resolved to live amongst the mess and wait for the next episode of Hoarders, so I wouldn't feel so bad about my place. But, then i found Clean Sweep LA! I was on my way to pick up a customer on Sepulveda and Greenleaf when I noticed one of those signs that you see all over town with a real good offer and just a phone number. The sign read " Two Maids 45.00 an hour!", I was like wow, too good to be true right. So, I put the number in my phone and I didn't realize it but I had dialed it. A couple of hours later I noticed that I had a message from Laura stating that she was sorry that she missed my call, and if I had any questions to please give her a call. I was impressed that, she had the gumption to call me back, even though I hadn't left a message! I was like whoa, why didn't I hear my phone ring, but I have AT&T, so I was probably somewhere, any where in LA that my iphone seems to lose service (thanks AT&T)! In any event, I called Laura back and asked her about the service. She was very professional and gave me a breakdown of the service. Yes, it was 45.00 an hour for two maids with a two hour minimum. I knew it would take more than two hours to clean my place and she said no problem, that when the ladies arrived they would look it over, call the office to let them know how long it would take and she would call me and I would decide what I wanted done from there. So, with that said, I set up an appointment for the next day, Saturday at 8:00 am. The ladies arrived a little late, but so what, who wants to get up let alone be any where by 8:00 am on a Saturday? Once they came in, I fully expected for them to run out screaming into the street yelling expletives in Spanish, but they didn't! They called the office with an estimate of how long it was going to take, I will not say how long, but it wasn't in the price range at the moment, so I told the office that I wanted them for three hours to clean, the living room, dining area two bathrooms and the kitchen. I would leave the bedrooms for later. Three hours later, my place looks great, my stove was so clean that I had forgotten that it was white. They cleaned the inside of the fridge and there were a couple of science experiments going on in there let me tell you! The outside of the fridge would have been cleaned, but I have so many magnets on it that, I told them not to bother. They washed and put away my dishes, for the most part there where things that got left out and it is only because I have so much stuff that I needed to do it. The kitchen floor was swept, vacuumed, and mopped! The counters sparkled. In the bathrooms, she was on her hands and knees cleaning the floor and baseboards! The stubborn soap scum that coats the shower doors was eradicated and I swear, they were cleaner then they were when I first moved in! Did, I mention that they cleaned behind the toilets and cleaned the cabinets and the walls! The living room and dining area furniture was dusted and polished to a wonderful shine.The window sills were dusted and clean as were the baseboards! They made sure, they cleaned under my couches the the dining room table, and thoroughly vacuumed the living and dining area. I am so very happy with the end result, there is still work to be done, but it looks so much better now, that I can actually breathe. I work way too hard and work too many hours as a cabdriver to keep my house clean, besides I suck at house cleaning any way. So,to find someone that will not just clean your house, but do it right, at such a reasonable price is a wonderful thing. I will definitely be using their services again, after all, I still have two bedrooms to clean and I have to maintain the wonderful job they did! I also called up this company due to the Yelp reviews. My previous experience has been with non-company cleaners, which gave me an idea about the cost and time I could expect. I have to say, I was not that impressed with this first attempt. We were looking for a deep cleaning on a fairly empty house we just moved into. I had done some cleaning to make it livable, but the place needed a deep clean. They quoted me 3.5 hrs for a 3 bedroom (one 12x12, a 10x10, and 8x10 maybe) and two bathrooms. I thought that was way too long for a 2 person crew in a fairly empty house, so I asked for 3hrs and to call me at the end and let me know what wouldn't be done and if I would like them to continue (that call never happened, they just left after 3hrs when we were not here). When they started I was concerned with two things. 1) I was surprised by their lack of supplies. An ancient vacuum, and tiny, old mop, rags and cleaning products. My impression was "I wonder how deep they can get with these tools?" 2) When I was here to direct them and do some stuff first hour or so, I became concerned with how long they spent in particular areas (I had specified both to them and the owners what I deemed most important, next important, and so on.) Meanwhile, the guy spent most of the first hour in the upstairs bathroom! I have cleaned that bathroom, it does not take an hour (it's an older house, there is only so much clean you are going to get out of a blue plastic-like shower stall). Now to be fair, the woman did a great job with the fridge and our tiny kitchen. However, when I got home later, I was surprised with how poor the downstairs floors looked (the #1 area I needed deep cleaning). So much so that I cleaned it again myself. It had that look of a once over with a mop and water too dirty so that it leaves a grimy haze. The biggest concern is that it cost $150 and not everything was cleaned. Yes, we didn't do the full time, but what they neglected to do wasn't 30 minutes of work, at least by their progress. Yes, many of the places were done well- bathrooms, kitchen, rooms. But we are looking for a regular service, so I wonder how much time and cost the next cleaning will cost? Should we go with them again in the hope that they now know our house and their is now furniture so it should be far less time? That is what we need to determine. In the end, we were not unhappy, but we didn't come home thinking it was exceptional and a great value for our $. read more

I had Clean Sweep come out and clean my apartment two times (two different teams). Both times, I was disappointed by the attention to detail. Now, I've had house cleaners before so I know they're gonna miss stuff. But Clean Sweep missed super obvious stuff. -They didn't do a very good job of cleaning the bathroom mirror. There were still streaks and stuff from flossing on it. -They didn't do a very good job of wiping down the dining room table. There was dirt on the table. -They didn't even attempt to clean the fridge. There were crumbs everywhere. They did clean my toilet and vacuum and move my stuff to odd places, but that's about it. If you're like Two-Days-Ago me, you're looking at these reviews because there's only a few weeks left of 2014... and you've got a year's worth of dust, crumbs, and who-knows-what to prove it. I called Clean Sweep in the late morning, and they offered to send out a pair of cleaners the same day. Why hello, Immediate Gratification! Two ladies showed up right on time with all their own equipment. I had heard they could cater their cleaning to my preferences, so I asked them to get behind the stove, inside the fridge, and around the shower. Other than that, I just left the general deep cleaning up to them. They told me they'd be done in 2.5 hours, I said OK, and within five minutes I had a call from Clean Sweep confirming the amount of hours and total price. Clearly, Clean Sweep has their $#!+ together. I love it. I returned 3 hours later, and they had already locked up and left. Thank goodness, because my giddy screams at how AMAZING the place looked might have been rather embarrassing for everybody. Clean carpet, clean shelves, clean shower, clean stove, clean refrigerator, clean microwave, clean bathroom, clean sinks and clean counters. I mean, I know this is their job and everything, but HOLY COW -- they even re-organized my condiments in the fridge and my photos/knickknacks on the shelves... EVEN BETTER THAN I HAD ORIGINALLY ARRANGED THEM. IT'S LIKE THEY JUST ORGANIZED MY LIFE. Thanks, Clean Sweep! Be aware, these guys are NOT GREEN, even though they will tell you they are. Clearly they have been instructed by management to say, "yes, we're green", if anyone asks. I looked at their supplies - Clorox, Mr. Clean, etc.... definitely not green. Otherwise, SO FAR so good! They are just as good as the last cleaners we had. Yet to see if they are "better" (why we're switching). Place looks beautiful, clean, exactly what we wanted... Cons are specific to the maids they sent... they were banging around A LOT, especially in the (closet-sized) kitchen. Guys, please don't damage my apartment just to get it clean, ok? And what's the deal with maids never putting things back where they find them, or dishes in the "right" spots (pretty obvious in our kitchen where things go, I thought). Oh yeah, and emptying the dirty dishwasher into the clean cupboards... Small gripes, really, but if I have to spend time fixing something a maid did, it's eating into the time I've saved by hiring them in the first place... and wasting my money sofar as I'm concerned. read more

Ask for Vilma & Evelyn. These cleaners are impeccable. Smiles, very professional, and they did a WONDERFUL cleaning job. They cleaned parts of my home that NO OTHER cleaner from other services have even thought to attempt. Be mindful to have cash on hand to provide the tip. I wanted to add tip to my card but the main office's policy is NOT to do that. I didn't have cash, expecting to be able to add on card like so many other services allow. And the gal I spoke to kept saying "Unfortunately we can't do this" and "unfortunately that". Ugh. Here's a tip to better the customer relations experience: STOP prefacing news that we don't want to hear with the word "unfortunately". It strikes a nerve and leaves a salty taste in our mouths. Try something like this, "You know that's a great idea and at this time, it's not something we do. But let me see what we CAN do." Even if you can't do a dang thing, watch the wording. It makes a difference. I woulda given the cleaners a straight up 5, but downgraded my overall rating because of the customer service main office interaction. Other than that, smooth experience and they were able to schedule me in on a 24 hr notice at my preferred time. I am exceptionally persnickity re: cleanliness and what defines "clean." I am also very sensitive to things like body language and attitude. To my thinking, if you're going to pay someone to do something for you, you expect it to be done 1) without and attitude display and 2) at least as well as you could have done it yourself and 3) for the mission to be both launched and completed as scheduled. I was greeting PRECISELY on time by Paulina and her husband (I am bad with names...how rude, for which I apologize officially). My inability to do the hard physical work of cleaning the all wood floors in my two story loft, or my own oven, stems from reconstructive hip surgery I am still recovering from... and we had moved into this loft unexpectedly, ergo it had NOT been properly cleaned before hand. Translation: there was serious level of deep cleaning needed. The hard kind. The move all the furniture and scrub kind.... Paulina and her husband were gracious, she herself spoke perfect English, they are both kind, polite people who did a FANTASTIC job, precisely in the 3 hours they specified, they did not fill my loft with noxious chemical cleaning odors, and they put everything back where it had been placed before they cleaned. I dealt with a man named Scott to book with Clean Sweep LA Maids after a girlfriend has suggested their service. His bid ($100-$150 for a deep clean on an 1100 sq. foot two story loft) was precisely what I was quoted on the walk through by Paulina and spouse, it took EXACTLY 3 hrs, as they had said it would, they even took out all my trash and recycling! Scott called promptly when they finished to discern if I was satisfied, and Paulina explained to me before she and her husband departed that I can request them as my consistently scheduled housekeepers; ergo no need to re-explain my needs and expectations every 2 weeks. I did a lot of research re: cost and customer satisfaction before selecting a service. I am so glad I went with Clean Sweep LA Maids... When my significant other and I finally secure that house in the hills we are endlessly searching for and yet to find, my hope is Paulina and her husband will "move with us" and continue to satisfy our needs perfectly and pleasantly... and exactly on time. Since we will have potential buyers here, we needed a very deep clean and I am so lucky we found these guys. Maria and Erick did a fantastic job! I gave them a tour and we talked about what needed to be done...they pretty much cleaned and dusted every inch of our house, not an easy task since it hadn't been professionally cleaned in a long time. I had a cleaning done which didn't go as well as I expected. However, the owner, did more than enough to overcompensate to make things right. Totally humble and eager to make sure I was satisfied without having to make it a difficult conversation. She went completely out of her way to not only erase the mistake in my mind but to make me happy to give this service another shot. Any business who can turn a situation like that completely around the way she did for a customer deserves all 5 stars. It goes to show that they really care for customers and have all the intention in the world to create a great service. She was excellent with the way it was handled and it's a very rare case where my initial bad impression was turned around into a completely positive impression. The young ladies arrive on time and were very polite. The smell of a clean house was so amazing. I can't be happier with their work. I'm selling my house so I needed it to be clean. Now I feel less stress to have an Open House. The rep which call me first to verify the hours and amount to be charge on credit card was very professional and confirm all that we spoke about. I heart Clean Sweep LA Maids! On the practical side: my cleaning ladies were Maya and Antonia, who show up on time, with their equipment and supplies, and get down to the nuts and bolts. My first appointment was a deep clean (which my place sorely needed). I appreciated it when Maya asked me what I felt was important to clean first, and listened to my needs (even managing not letting my frisky kitty out, who was then recuperating from a head wound he got in a fight). Then I stepped aside, and they did what they do best: clean. I left them to do their work, and came back several hours later to a sparkling, nice-smelling, tidied house. Ahhh! The office always follows up with a "How did we do?" phone call, each and every time. Great customer service. Appointment #2: no deep clean needed, and Maya asked me if I needed anything special. I listed off some key points to hit, and bang: they did it, on top of the usual stuff they covered last time. Efficient, effective, and attentive. Can't ask for better help. On the mental side: total peace of mind. This company provides a service that I didn't think I needed (being the DIY type), but now see how its benefits alleviates me from the tedium of cleaning, and frees me to concentrate on the things I LOVE to do. Clean sweep did a great job cleaning overall! They got into corners that I never expected and were very detailed in their deep clean! My apartment looks fantastic! I had two boys living in two rooms and they were a total mess but the two ladies that came, cleaned everything! I swear the place looks amazing! The reason why I only give 4 stars is because they almost didn't clean my room because of my caged pet snake. They were claiming that my snake was trying to get out and snapping at them. My snake has never showed any aggression the entire time I've had it and the cage is fully secured. Still, the company told me they were not letting their cleaners into my room. After much argument, the ladies were able to do a basic clean in my room but it caused me stress nonetheless. Also, they forgot to clean some of the walls and lost a knob off the stove. Nothing too drastic, therefore I give 4 stars. Thank you for the help! read more

Wowza. Just had the worst experience with this company. Starts with a call 30 minutes before the arrival window saying they're here. Glad I was home early to wait for them. The woman on the phone says that they're having issue parking and everything is permit. I tell her there are meters and parking around the building. She then says I'll have to pay for their parking. I say fine but that should have been disclosed prior. She asked me in the three times she called if I had permits they could use. I said no each time. I've had friends come over and no one has ever had an issue parking within a block. Not sure what the problem is but on the third call back she tells me they can't find anything it's all too far. Asks if I have a spot inside. If I did wouldn't I have told them? I just don't get it. So we had to cancel because I didn't have a permit or spot. I asked why they didn't ask me during scheduling about parking and they said they don't ask. That makes no sense. And now I have no one to clean. Pain in the neck . Wish I could review them for the work done but I can't. read more

My husband and I are huge fans, Clean Sweep couldn't have done a better job! We live in downtown and recently moved from one unit to another within the same building, opting to rent out our old place. Before renting out the old place though, we wanted to do a deep clean. So I came to Yelp and found Clean Sweep, and after seeing all of their reviews, I decided to call them up. Long story short, they did an incredible job cleaning the place - it absolutely sparkles now! We had a little over 1000 square feet to clean, which included two bathrooms, a full kitchen (and all associated appliances), and to top it all off, we had had two pets in this unit for nearly two years. After about five hours, the place is absolutely spotless! Endless thanks, we couldn't recommend Clean Sweep more highly!! read more

This used to be my go to cleaning company. Unfortunately, not any more. I tried to schedule a cleaning over a month ago. They wouldn't let me schedule because they said the charge was declined from their previous visit. I provided the manager Sky with banks statements and an email from my personal banker showing the bank tracking number and that the funds were deducted from my account. He said he would get back to me. I've left several messages with Alexandra and the other girls in the office for sky to contact me to no avail. Each time its an excuse about he is in a meeting, not in the office or out of town. Perhaps he doesn't know email works 24/7/365. This has been going on for several weeks. The cleaners were great but the managers lack of follow thru shows piss poor customer service and I'll be looking for another cleaning crew. read more

This was my first time getting professional cleaners. My apartment's pretty clean as it is but I wanted a deep cleaning of all the stuff you don't want to clean yourself often, ie. the oven, fridge, cabinets, floorboards, etc. I had Alba & Yesenia and they were great. On time, friendly, and quick. My apartment looks great and I plan to ask for them again. read more
