Unfortunately, the cleaners did a terrible job and did not follow instructions. I believe there was somewhat of a language barrier, and as such, the cleaners could not understand several key requests. The person that I spoke to about this was quite rude and did not seem to care about my issues. Would not recommend going forward. read more

Nothing beats a clean home. Today was my second time. First time was six months ago and the crew of two did an amazing job. I tried another company in April because they were 20% cheaper. Unfortunately the one person didn't do as well so I return to Clean Sweep. I opted for a deep cleaning the involves cleaning the windows (inside only), inside the refrigerator and the entire stove. I didn't have them clean the inside of my cabinets. After seeing the space and getting an idea of what to and not to clean, the company called and quoted me $210. Last regular cleaning was $150. Ouch. But I needed to it so approved. After 3 1/2 hours my apartment was nice and clean. You not only see it clean but can smell it. Smells like fresh laundry. I skipped laundry. Since the machines aren't in my space, the service would be extra and could tack on more time and thus more money. Overall both experiences were good though I preferred the first crew. This pair did miss dusting a few spots. I did notice damage to my bathroom door which I showed the crew and asked them to share with the company. Though the company called for feedback they didn't mention the damage door. Disappointing. Fortunately it was cosmetic and my super offered to fix it at no charge. read more

Terrible, lazy maid thats don't finish the job even when they're sent back by the company after an incomplete clean complaint. Grout is still brown. Trash can remains unsanitized. Coildn't be less happy. NOT the place to go for a deep clean. Plus.... They scratched the HELL out of my toilet bowl and wood floors. Theyre either too rough or too gentle. Trust me, find someone else. Edit: These pictures are from before they sent the cleaners back a second time, but regardless the grout and trash can are still gross. You can see how bad the grout still is in the pictures they posted themselves. Had a really great experience with Clean Sweep - to the point where I'm tiptoeing around my house wondering how they got everything so shiny! I seriously just looked at myself in the bathroom mirror and wondered if there was a whole other room in there I'd never seen before... Scott, one of their carpet cleaners, came within two hours of initial contact and did a great, thorough job. A pair of maids also came the next day and are real heroes - friendly, able and did a really good job, especially on glass and my steel kitchen island. Check your bank statement and your belongings! They accidentally(?) charged me almost $1000 for a less than $200 cleaning. When I called them about the mistake, it took awhile for them to realize I was right. The office seems disorganized. Also, I've used them twice and EACH time I noticed things are missing. They took my mop, dish soap, and toilet paper(!) after they left. When I told them about it, they didn't seem to care at all. Unacceptable. Are these things super important or expensive? No. But I would expect cleaners to be careful NOT to take my things EVERY time they come over. They also stained my bathroom rug blue but I believed that was an honest accident and I told her it was okay. read more

This was the worst cleaning service I have ever used. I requested a deep clean. I had just started moving into the apartment and nothing was in there so they could clean completely. However, the job they did was very poor. The inside of the refrigerator was still dirty, there was a dead bug still on the wall, above the lights in the bathrooms, and the toilets were not cleaned. I hired clean sweep LA for a deep clean of my 2 bed 2.5 bath condo. I got a quick online quote and confirmed over the phone. I was scheduled at a time that worked for me within 7days of contacting them. The two ladies arrived ontime. After a quick walk thru of my home they provided a time estimate to do the things i was asking. We agreed on 4 hours. Towards the end they asked for more time- which I declined. I really appreciated knowing before hand how long (and thus how much) it was going to be- and that they kept true to their word and didnt do overtime without my approval. They did an excellent job on everything. My bathrooms especially. They did break a lamp accidentally but it was really easy working with the company and i was reimbursed without problem the next day! I've requested their services twice now for a friend, and I couldn't help but review after the second time. Initially I was disappointed about their two hour minimum, but I was so impressed with the amount they were able to accomplish within that time. They cleaned my friend's bedroom and bathroom so efficiently. The trash was removed, the floor was spotless, and the tiles and tub in the bathroom were sparkling. Booking is straightforward and fast over the phone, but double check the amount they bill you for. The first time they recommended a cleaning for 3 hours given the layout, but since I was trying out their services, I declined and asked for 2 hours. However, I quickly discovered they billed me for 3 hours, so I called again and asked them to correct the issue which they did. NEVER again. From the office staff's poor attitude to the cleaners themselves, just avoid them. I liked their pricing and the fact that the office updated me on the cleaners' ETA. But when the two cleaners arrived at my house, I had no idea neither could speak English. I don't speak Spanish. So we had problems communicating. What a surprise. They finished in the evening so it was not until the next morning that I discovered they left a heaping pile garbage bags - not only in my garage vs the chute I showed them, but IN my doorway for me to walk right into. When I saw the invoice in my email box, I returned the email and asked that they call me before applying any charges. Destiny responded right away to let me know they already charged my account. That was it. No concern toward my reason for wanting a phone call. So I called the office and spoke with Destiny. When I explained the language barrier, she told me most of their cleaners do not speak English and that I should have called their office to convey what I had specifically wanted. I pointed out that I should have been notified in advance that this language barrier was the norm. But for each point I made, she had a defensive comeback. Like when I told her where they left the trash - her response: "They don't take trash off the premises, ma'am." So I told her the chute was not off the premises, and just a few feet from my door, which I showed them. Her response: "Did they do a good job cleaning your house?" I did receive a $25 credit. Then after that, I found a surprise in my guest bathroom - a toilet brush they left behind IN the toilet. I contacted them again. No response, no surprise. I have used Clean Sweep LA three different times in three slightly different scenarios: (1) moving out of an apartment and getting a full deep clean on a one bedroom place; (2) a tenant moved out of my mom's house and we got a deep clean of one room; and (3) cleaning 6 rooms of the house in preparation for the holidays. Each time I have received AMAZING service with incredible results. Scheduling is fast and convenient and having the charges go to a card on file is very easy. Every person that the service has sent has been professional and hard working. Each time I've received a cleaning, I can honestly say those rooms have never been cleaner. I really wish I had taken more before and after photos but I'll just have to leave this review. This last cleaning, they cleaned my oven and it honestly looks brand new. Glenda and Elda went the extra mile while cleaning my 1 bedroom / 1 bath during my weekly maintenance cleaning today and made my day. Elda cleaned my whole deck floor and wiped my glass that hasn't been cleaned in maybe a year and it looks excellent. I am pretty particular about cleaning and I can't say enough good things: The appointments are easy to book with a live person over the phone. The cleaners are consistently on time. They give me an estimate of time prior to the cleaning and then the office calls to confirm before they charge my credit card. The cleaners are friendly while being professional. The actual cleaning is as close to perfect as it gets. They walk through the house with me before and they have me look at it after to make sure I'm satisfied. When I've asked for a little touch up on something here or there, they are more than willing to do it. They work really hard! It's not inexpensive, but it's great work for a fair price. Awesome. So let me start at the beginning. I was going back and forth with other cleaning companies but Clean Sweep LA was always the quickest to respond. Our roommate had left unexpectedly and left quite a bit to clean. We are planning to have family over the holidays so it had to be cleaned ASAP. Sucks ya? We were practically a last minute appointment and they booked us right away...the next day in fact. Whoa. The cleaners were scheduled to arrive at 12-1. They arrived at 12 on the dot. That's right. They came on time. Amanda, a rep I talked to from Clean Sweep, was kind enough to let me know they had arrived and gave me the run down on estimated time and what that would cost. I did a walkthrough with the cleaners (didn't catch their names because I had to go back to work) and told them my priority list. I then left them to do their thing and went back to work. I ended up going with their estimated 4 hours because I wanted to be thorough with the cleaning. Side note: There's a 2-hour minimum and if you get a longer estimated time, you can still just have them clean the minimum. They just might not get to everything. Flash forward to the present. I literally just got home and inspected everything. It's clean af. I pride myself in being really clean (ironic since I needed cleaners) and they definitely went above and beyond. I was referred to these guys from two friends so I felt pretty comfortable with the process from the get go. I got my deep clean today and my place looks amazing. I really badly needed a deep clean, especially the places I hate cleaning. I live in a 1BR/1BA and it took 3 hours. They cleaned most crevice, including things like my keurig, make up stand and organized everything too. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars, I was told they would call me once they arrived at my apartment and assessed the amount of time they would need. This never happened and since they only require a 2 hour minimum, I would have liked to know it was going to be 3. Lastly, they didn't dust my ceiling fan blades, which really needed it and I figured with 3 full hours in a 1 bedroom that would have been done. Other than that, great service! I will use them again and just make sure I specify anything that I want cleaned. UPDATE: I got a deep clean again last week and this one was SO much more thorough than the last one. So after renting my house for strangers for the past 4 years, I finally was able to move in and settle. Online, I got estimated about 4 hours and $200 ($50 an hour) to clean my entire house (2 floors, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen). However, once the cleaning ladies came, they told me it would take longer (8 hours and $400). Of course, I was shocked and not happy about the actual cost doubling the estimated cost. But I was realistic and I knew my house was a dumpster. Everything needed to be cleaned (blinds, bathrooms, carpet, kitchen, floors, balcony, etc.) Ladies came and got to work immediately. After the 8 hours (of course, I fed them because I felt bad), my house looked ALMOST spotless. The bathrooms were shinny, carpet was clean, windows and blinds had no dust, kitchen was nice and clean (except some spots with tons of grease stains which I don't blame them for not being able to take it off). I few days ago I booked a deep cleaning for my apartment because I had guess coming to stay with me. I asked what they typically do during a deep clean and if it included under the fridge and oven as well as inside. They told me that it was included if I needed it and get it it as needing 3 and a half hours to finish the deep cleaning. They deep cleaned only the main area I asked, and only mopped and did the fans in one bedroom. I purposely excluded the bedrooms are they would have more time to focus on the shared living areas. They should have included obvious things such as under the fridge and under my couch but both were left dirty. They did a pretty good job on the stuff that they did clean but they definitely missed quite a few areas that were in serious need. The two people who came to clean my apartment where also very sweet so I figured their great attitudes should be factored in with the stuff that they cleaned well. However I will say that I am disappointed that they missed so many necessary spaces. The company called me to ask me how everything went right after the cleaners left. Unfortunately I hadn't had a chance yet to check every area before I told them that it was well done. They did ask me to leave at Yelp review which I also think is kind of strange. Clean sweep does a pretty great job. They arrive on time, they keep to the schedule that they quote and they left the place spic-and-span. No regrets and I will use them again. If I'm going to nitpick, I'd say that the grid of photos on my fridge were surprisingly messed up or even knocked off from the ladies banging around the kitchen. One of the best things about them is that they bring all of their own equipment cleaners etc. so that you don't have to provide anything if you don't want to. This is particularly helpful during a move out cleaning job. When they arrive, you can do a walk-through with the team to show them exactly what needs to be done. They will then give you an estimate in terms of time and exact cost then. When they are done, you can check to make sure that you're happy with their job. They are very professional and are really just there to do the job. No fuss. The price is reasonable particularly given the convenience factor. I bought a vintage loveseat and wanted it to be cleaned and sanitized so that I can sit on it in peace without thinking about all the dirt and germs it's accumulated. However, I wanted to be mindful of COVID and of my roommate who has underlying conditions, so that brought me to go with Clean Sweep. Their cleaning service is mounted on their van and super mobile to work with whatever your situation may be, which was perfect since I requested my furniture be cleaned outside of my apartment. The cleaning rate they charged me for was reasonable and Sky was incredibly helpful and communicative. Sky worked around the difficult parking situation on my street to get my furniture cleaned and sanitized and did so in an efficient manner. Called on a Tuesday, booked an appointment for Thursday. Destiny on the phone made it easy. Elsa and Maria were the team to clean my 2br2ba apartment, they did a fantastic job. Did a 4.5 hour session (was a year or two overdue); they tackled severely neglected bath tubs, toilets, oven, and refrigerator. Stains in the shower and toilet that I had scrubbed endlessly in the past with little success, they made it look brand new. All surfaces look great, even the little details; hard to get to corners, A/V system wiped clean, little nooks and crannies. They even reorganized under the kitchen/bathroom sinks and threw out products that needed tossing. With a new roommate moving in, they made it move in ready. Very happy with the results. My experience has been hit and miss. They have changed my appointment times at the last minute multiple times, and mostly always try to get me to pay for more time to clean my house than is needed. I know how long it takes to clean my small home, and it doesn't take any other cleaners more than 2 hours (sometimes 1.5 hours).
