I added an eye treatment that was so lovely- cold eye pads and then a massage with frozen wands. This was a unique experience, one that I really enjoyed and will definitely return to again! Thanks Yelp for this opportunity! I was a little nervous heading here due to the area. It's always packed in this highlands neighborhood but I was lucky enough to find quiet a few parking spots during a weekday. First of all this place is perfect for a quick pick me up or cleaning. They only offer 30 min facials while I was use to an hour. They also offer lots of opportunities to upgrade the regular facial depending on what skin type you have. I opted to add the pumpkin scrub as well as an extraction. My anesthetist was so calm and patient and offer plenty of advice. I've never had a cold facial rub before and it felt amazing. She suggested I start using a chemical peel so I just got exactly what she recommended. Very hip place with a little shop of their facial goodies to purchase. My wife and I both got the basic facial, and we loved our experience. You first enter a super cute and bright space where you are greeted and checked in. Because it was our first time, we filled out a form to convey some information about our skin, daily routine, allergies, etc. This is used for the skin boss to customize your facial. We arrived super early for our appointments, so we sat on their comfy bench while we waited. On a wall, there are various products for sale. After your facial, your skin boss will point out which products on the wall they used on you and what they recommend for you. When our names were called, we were introduced to our skin bosses and led to the back. We laid back in comfortable chairs and the let the process begin. The skin bosses were so knowledgeable and explained every step of the process. What they were applying, why they they were applying it (and tying it back to the form filled out), and how it would help. They were able to answer all of my questions and never in a condescending way, even though I'm sure that I asked some really dumb questions about my skin care. At the end of it all, our faces felt incredibly clean, moisturized, and healthy. We were so impressed that we were talking about when we plan to come back. They do offer a monthly plan, but we might just ease into it with individual visits here and there for now. Went here today with my husband and had a wonderful experience. First of all, we wanted to book ours both at the same time but online there was only one person per time slot. We scheduled them 30 mins apart and in the comments of the booking I mentioned seeing if we could schedule them together and was planning to call the next day but within 12 hours they emailed me to say they could schedule us both together at the time we requested. The facial had multiple steps and took about 30 minutes. They explained each step as they went. They used many products that all smelled wonderful and they customize the facial based on your skin care needs. My favourite part was probably the moisturizer they massage your face with at the end, so relaxing! I left feeling and smelling great! I tried out this new facial spot as part of the Yelp Elite experience and I have to say it was the perfect way to get out of the house for a bit thanksgiving weekend when the MIL was in town lol As I'm very big on skincare I was super excited at the opportunity to check out a new facial spot! I have been doing monthly facials for about 2 years now and generally like to do a microdermabrasion/dermaplane when I go in. This is a great spot if you just need a quick in and out pamper session; i think they refer to it as an express facial. I added on the pumpkin peel which was tingly and refreshing. My girl, Isabella was super friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job. I like the idea of in and out as well as the add on options so you can personalize your experience. Very relaxing and my skin glowed the entire day. I must say the ice rollers were outrageous and I would go back for those! The facial room is open so no privacy, but is great for facial parties. The membership is a deal to keep your face glowing. Super glad I came but it seemed more like a deep cleaning than a facial.. as I am used to longer facials with less explanations. Somethings just felt sales driven which I am not a huge fan of. So the wife and I had a great opportunity to have facials done as part of the yelp elite squad. Darrian and Jen did a fantastic job of cleaning me up and making me look presentable and making my wife look more beautiful than she already is! The experience is fantastic, it's just as relaxing as getting a full body massage. I almost fell asleep several times during the facial, both mine and my wife's favorite part of the facial was where they roll cold ice balls over your face, it's both cooling and soothing. My wife added in the oxygen boost, which she said was awesome. The session was only 30 minutes long and I myself wish it was much longer. Who knew a facial could be so relaxing. You ladies have been hiding this wonderful secret from us men! Lol. Everyone was warm, personable and friendly, and they were no hard sales pictures at the end to try and buy product. The staff simply explained what they thought would work best for you, but did not push the sales. They have a lot of great products available for your use. My friend and I Had an amazing facial today! Darian was my esthetician and was great! The 3 gals working all were great actually! The gal at the front desk greeted my friend and I immediately and was super friendly and very helpful. The front lobby area was super nice and clean, and had all the products they use on display for purchase. We did not wait too long after checking in and filling out paperwork before heading back to be pampered. There were a few add on services you could do as well, so I opted to do the eye treatment. Love this place! Perfect for a quick and affordable facial. Booking process is super easy. When you check in, they ask about your skin. I've been a few times now and I typically just let them take a close look at my skin and decide what it needs. The facial is quick, but they describe in detail the products they are using and why. This was a unique facial experience that is different from a typical day spa / med spa facial treatment. I understood going in this would be materially different and read the website ahead of time. To be clear, the appointment was for 30min and it lasted exactly 30mins. Bella was awesome and explained their process to me before the appointment and every step along the way. Overall, I understand their business model and the consumer need they are trying to meet. If I needed regular facials and was strapped for time, I would consider this place. For me, I'd rather do a traditional spa facial and am willing to carve out the extra time for one. One other note, I currently use higher end facial care products in my daily routine and did notice a difference in their proprietary products. For example the moisturizer was not very rich (and I believe oil based) and I needed to apply my usual non-oil based moisturizer when I got home as my skin was already starting to dry out. Upon arriving, I was greeted at the front desk and asked to fill out a check in form. The lobby is freshly decorated with their various lines of facial products. This place if fairly affordable for a facial, but with most places like this, they make their money with the products. Sammy, my esthetician, recommended products to me, but was not at all pushy. My skin looks glowing and feels amazing after she worked her magic for 30min. She explained everything she was doing really well. They also have a steamer for your face, so you feel like you're in a steam room for part of it. The chair was comfortable and there were room for two others (3 at a time). I was the only one there at the time, which made my experience more relaxing. I think it would be a little more distracting if there was someone next to me. The front desk attendant greeted me warmly, and was also not pushy with scheduling another appt. She did give me a coupon for products i could use online, which was nice. I have been going to clean your dirty face for a while now, and never had an issue. Truthfully, I never really saw any improvement with my skin after each visit; however, I would just use my extra ClassPass credits at the end of the month for a facial cause why not?! I went this last weekend and before I arrived my skin was already feeling a little dry, so I figured I would just let my esthetician know this and we could focus on a hydrating facial. I let her know my current skin care (some of which she had recommended since the last time I saw them) and we got started. I kid you not, I think she exfoliated my skin three times in a 10 minute span, to the point when she put on this "green mask" my skin was stinging so bad I almost asked her to take it off. I also opted to get extractions, cause why bother getting a facial if you don't get extractions?? She let me know that they recently changed the way they do them, and it is now double the price. Hm. Okay. When I asked her why they opted for this new process, she kindly let me know it was just so they could charge more... When we finally wrapped up, she asked if I wanted to see my face. I had a feeling there would be some redness, but boy was I not prepared. I looked like I had chemical burns all over my face, ESPECIALLY MY EYES. I was so embarrassed walking out of that shop I raced home and washed my stinging face with cold water as soon as possible. This did nothing to help and my skin started to peel. After doing some research on my own, I think I am either suffering from some kind of chemical burn from a product they used reacting with a product I use or she completely stripped my skin barrier with the excessive exfoliation. I've never broken out this badly in my life and my entire face is swollen, red, and peeling. I haven't been able to put anything on it since other than moisturizer, petroleum products, and sunscreen. I am so upset I'm not even sure what to do. I was a loyal customer up until this and wish she would have listened closer to what products I used and how I was already experiencing dry skin. Now I will have to deal with the aftermath of this facial for who knows how long. Will NEVER BE BACK. The space itself is clean and open with a large display of Clean Your Dirty Face skin products. My esthetician was Bella who was lovely. The facials is 30 minutes. I opted to upgrade with the nanosculpt enhancement. If you choose to add the nano you cannot add any other enhancements without paying an additional fee to upgrade to a 60 minute appointment (this cost would be in addition to the cost of the other enhancements plus the cost of nano). The the concept favors efficiency and is a great option for those who do not have time for traditional facials; feel intimidated by skin care; or are trying to stick to a budget. The facial begins with a steamer to open up your pores which is super relaxing. Then they will cleanse your skin apply any masks and the best part is the facial massage using the "ice queen" cold globes.
