Went to get my oil changed after I dropped a friend off nearby at the train station. Fell for the sales pitch that I needed to get my engine and power-steering fluids flushed and refilled (for an extra $90). My car is getting up there in mileage, so I thought it may be a good idea. A half hour after I get a call from the mechanic telling me he left a tool under the hood and asks me if I can come back so he can remove it. I immediately drive back, park infront of the garage and approach the mechanic who doesn't recognize me, and is outside chatting with his buddies. Turns out he called the wrong person, but didn't think it important to call me back and explain this. A day later, my car begins bucking. After 20 minutes of driving it becomes so severe that the RPMs begin jumping up and down so drastically that it starts stalling my car. It becomes inoperable, and I barely managed to get it out of traffic and on a side street. Today my mechanic is towing my car to his shop so he can take a look at what this place did to my car. In short, if you want to have shoddy, unprofessional work done on your car and be scammed out of money on something that's supposed to improve your car's running condition - not cause it to be towed a day later - then I would recommend this place. You'll be sorry you did however, like I am, for not doing a little research beforehand. For the conscious consumer - stick to a professional and reliable lube & repair shop, which is most definitely not a place like Clean Way. read more

I have been using this car wash for a very long time. Once a month on a Saturday morning my ritual is to bring my 3 vehicles here one at a time. In the last year it has gone down hill. Last month I had to finish cleaning my cars when I reached home. Today was a complete disaster. My car came out really bad. I had them redo the wash again. After waiting 20 min to see a manager he started to argue with me. Telling me it needs to be buffed out in the areas that they couldn't clean. After reaching home I proceeded to grab a rag and quick wax. I took me about 10 minuets to clean my car properly. I have recommended hundreds of people over the years to this car wash. I was a used car manager 1 mike away for 10 Years and told 85-100 people a month to use this place. Well sorry to say after many years our relationship has ended. Was in the Randolph Area and needed a car wash, I decided to give this place a try and I was impressed, most places I goto leave streaks on the doors and side mirrors, these guys took their time to make sure every nook and cranny of the car was dry after the way so there would be no matter marks. Fast Friendly service and the prices are great! I got my oil changed here and they showed me a couple of square air filters that they said came from my car and needed to be replaced. I said no and went to an auto parts store to get air filters so I could replace them myself. When I looked at the air filter in the auto parts store, guess what, it was round didnt even look anything close to what they showed me. This place used to be good however last couple times i went they dont clean the car good enough. I pay for there best service triple a, which is $35 and they do a $10 job. If I could give 0 stars I would, my experience was terrible, I called a head to see if they had time to fix my alternator, upon arriving they took my vehicle right in, they gave me a price that made no sense, 600 just for the part and then 4 hours of labor, sounded astronomical, so while sitting there I looked up part pricing and about how many hours it would take to fix the issue and get an estimate from other mechanics in the area, to say the least I wasnt shocked when everything I found said I was being taken for a ride, so when I asked for my keys so I could leave that's when they told me I also needed a new battery, upon asking to see if they would try charging it they told me no and said it's dead all they could do was buy a new one, safe to say I was quite displeased, I bought a battery and left and took my old battery with me and will have it checked if it can hold a charge, which they said it wouldn't, I fully plan to go back and get my money back if that battery works read more

Where do I begin... I showed up at 12pm on a Saturday for a "B" level wash. I got out of the car and gave it to the man with the vacuum. Walked inside paid etc. Walk outside and happened to notice that the men driving off my car were using what looked like glass cleaner all over my leather interior.. I nicely asked them to stop doing that. As I spoke I also noticed that the floors and seats were just as dirty as when I showed up.. NOTHING was vacuumed!! So calmly, I asked "hey man, I hate to be a pain but I paid for this service and you guys must of forgotten to vacuum the inside." Man goes "no problem" takes it around back and vacuumed it. "Okay fine thank you" - I said. He then pulls it back into the drying line where I was awaiting the tire shine I also purchased. 10 minutes goes by. NOTHING. 20 minutes goes by NOTHING. still no tire shine. I kindly flagged down the tall man with the tire shine and asked him if he could get my tires so I can get out of here. HE SHOOK HIS HEAD AT ME AND WENT NO. Two other members of the car wash crew go to my car (as if I put it there) also shake their head and move the car. Ignoring that! I was still trying to flag down the guy to do my tires.... finally after he did 15 other cars!! He comes to mine strutting over furiously and slaps the tire shine on my car and is staring at me shaking his head mumbling curse words at me in Spanish.. absolutely did NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS TREATMENT!! I have been going there for with my Porsche 911 for 3 years and they usually do a very nice job. However, the manager Jay is a first class jerk. Last week they washed my car and shortly after I got back into the car, I noticed the two radio tuner dials (which are made of rubber) were very sticky. I didn't have time to go back that day so came in the next morning to speak with Jay about trying to get the stickiness off. I wasn't asking for anything except solving the problem. I didn't ask for my money back, I didn't ask for another wash. I didn't ask him to replace the buttons. Just help me solve this problem! Jay started off by saying that in his 20 years, he's never had someone complain about sticky dials. I said one of his guys must have either sprayed the console with something like Windex and gotten it on the dials...or maybe it was on the cloth used to clean it. Mistakes happen. Jay just tried to blame me. He asked me if I work with glue...which I don't. Then he said I must have cleaned the dials myself with something sticky a while back and the sun brought the stickiness out. (Really, I took the car from my garage to the car wash - I used the radio on the way over and it was fine...after being washed the two dials were sticky - the car wasn't sitting in the sun - it went in fine and came out sticky...hmm) Jay was just making things up to divert the blame when all I wanted was a solution. Talk about a lack of customer care...the guy is a complete jerk. All I can say is that while they generally do a good job...if anything goes wrong...you are screwed because Jay cares only about protecting his ass...not on solving any problems. Doug K. read more

A long time friend of mine just told me that The guys Dropped the towel they were using on her car on the ground then picked it up with Gravel on it and Scratched the entire side of her New Car. Finally went back after a HORRIBLE experience (they did not put the oil cap back on my car a few years back) and went back today to give them another shot and it was $81... I said I was going to leave and go somewhere else. I waited 10 minutes and next thing you know they did the oil change and charged me $65 for it!! For gas and a car wash this place works. When I took my car for a detail they didn't have enough staff to actually do the detail and they do not EVER credit back the charge to the credit card. I have never had an oil change so I can't address the problems others had BUT the car wash is fab!! They do a great job on exterior and interior. I have also done the more extensive cleaning - about $40 - where they do the mats and clean upholstery. It's about a 30 minute but worth it. The basic wash is great too but don't go on a sunny weekend unless you want a long wait. read more

I used this car wash once (and never again) and did a pretty poor job. Even though I usually keep my car pretty clean, there are the occasional crumbs and dog hairs. Everything look completely the same as if they just threw a bucket of water on the outside. I stupidly went there for gas the next day and I had one of my labs in the front seat of the car. So I returned to this car wash again today even though after last time I said I would never go again because of the terrible job that was done. I gave it a second chance because I'm not one to judge quickly however once again today I ended up coming home to clean my own car after I paid someone to clean it. I went to the full service car wash because I wanted my car clean basically I handed money away to come home and complete a task they should have provided. Basically looks like I Paid for an exterior wash. The only part of this car wash that is good is the mechanical part because the vacuum guys & interior guys are terrible. I paid $18 for my car to be washed and added a $5 tip to essentially be accused of not paying. A "gentleman" walks over to me with his hand extended and introduces himself which was weird. I smiled and said hello and he said he needed to see my receipt so they can give me the correct service. Ummmm...there were about 4 cars there - not busy at all so why not ask the cashier if I paid? I am not sure how anyone can give this place a 5 star review. For someone who has been detailing and cleaning their car for years, this place is unacceptable. I have been to plenty of hand car washes that do an amazing job, unfortunately, this is not one of them. I have been to this place 4 times and this will be my last. The rims are ALWAYS dirty afterwards because they use a pressure hose to rinse them off. Not one person uses soap and a sponge. They have two guys washing the car, and they apparently don't like to bend down because the lower parts of the car are always left dirty. I have a white car and you can see the dirt that is left when they are done. I have been to $5.00 car washes that do a better job than these clowns. I still can't figure out why there is always a line here. Sadly, I am still looking for a decent hand car wash in the area. read more

Its one of the worst wash. I took the shine and protect package for 19$. When all wash and shine is complete, it was a bad wash all over. even the berry marks on the exterior of the door is not removed and there is no shine/proctect coat that added any glow. $600 Repair Bill to Fix Their Negligent Mistake This review pertains to the mechanics here. After getting a car wash and seeing they were consistently busy in the garage, I decided to get an oil change, that went fine, so I returned when I was due again. This time, I asked for a transmission and brake fluid flush. The next day as I'm driving the car I notice a burning smell and find the nearest mechanic to examine it. They informed the smell was from transmission fluid leaking onto the exhaust. I took a day off of work, returned to Clean Way and explained the issue, told them to take all the time they need but to fix what they caused, and after about 90 mins they returned me the keys and said it's fixed. After driving it home and around for a bit to burn off any old fluid that may have previously spilled, letting it cool, and driving again, it was apparent the issue was not fixed. I took the car to a garage endorsed by AAA, and shockingly, there is a broken hose spewing transmission fluid, and on top of that, the trans fluid was even bubbling over, as they suspect it's the wrong type of fluid as well. The high charge for repair is because they have to drop the whole trans out to remedy this, so I'm paying all labor to fix a mistake by these geniuses. I assumed any mechanic who even came out of ITT Tech could do a basic fluid flush but I have learned my lesson. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR read more

I had a terrible experience at this car wash. After accumulating the correct number of points, I was denied the free car wash. The number of points in this case was 161 which was clearly written on the receipt. The managers argument was "you can't use a yellow coupon and get points to get a free car wash.' I explained it as clear as day that my points were accumulated by paying cash and not using coupons. The evidence was my receipt showing the 161 points. Stay away! You WILL be ripped off here. I wish there was a rating for less than one star because this car wash does not even deserve a single star. I've been going to this car wash for years and have experienced varying levels of satisfaction. Many times I've had to ask the men to re-clean certain areas of my car that were overlooked after the car was handed back to me, but the staff always took care of areas they missed if I asked. Today I took my son's car in and I alerted the man who greets you and asks which option you want that there was tree sap on the car. Not only did he encourage me to go through the car wash, he strongly suggested adding the five dollar hot wax. When I went to pick up the car after it was washed I found the car to be the same as before it went through the wash, covered with sap. I also found that the car trunk was not vacuumed out at all; it was still full of leaves. When I went back to the man at the cash register I told him what condition the car was in and asked him if he could put the car through the wash again. He then got the manager and the manager told me that sap does not come off in the car wash and that it would cost me $100 to get it all off. When I asked him why the man who took my order did not tell me that before he not only encouraged me to go through the car wash but also recommended an additional hot wax he told me "he doesn't speak English and "He doesn't know about sap". I told him he needs to have people at the front who speak English when people are placing their orders and these people should have knowledge about sap removal. This manager was so abrasive and obnoxious to me and is very disrespectful towards women. I told him that the fair thing to do would be to refund the five dollar hot wax that I was encouraged to get because it actually added to the problem of getting the sap off the car and he refused. I told him I would not be back to that car wash and he would lose thousands of dollars in business over time. He did not care and waved me off, turned his back on me and walked away. As he did so he yelled something in Arabic to the men who all smirked and stared at me while they looked me up and down. Disgusting place, obnoxious manager and now I'm stuck with a dirty car and a $22.99 credit card bill. Oh, and when I brought up the fact that the trunk wasn't even vacuumed out, the manager told me that they no longer do that because of privacy issues and it costs an extra four dollars.
