We have to went to another Verizon store and have our phone port in within 20 minutes instead of 4 hours at Burlington store. So please avoid Burlington store if you can, go to reading store.

Needless to say, my wi-fi was problematic, and Best Buy tried and tried to fix things to no avail. I was told to seek an I.T. company, I did my search, and Rod sold me over the phone on MVWFP. Jawaan and Jacob came to the house and hard wired most of my TV's using the coaxial cable that already existed. They also established various ports throughout the house so that the wireless wi-fi would work well everywhere. There was a slight problem that was fixed right away with a second (free) visit to the house. Several months after installation, the system is running perfectly. Rod and Jawaan are as good as it gets! Make the call to MVWFP, and your stress will disappear, at least with regard to wi-fi in your big old house!

All installed by me originally over the years, including hardwired gigabit Ethernet plus WiFi. Dead zones everywhere in the house and hardwired connections that weren't working. Rod responded quickly to my booking appointment on his website, and came in on the agreed date. As I knew, it was a mess. Took two days to straighten it all out including producing "heat maps" to show signal strength throughout every room in the house. it is actually quite difficult to find anyone who specializes in networking and WiFi. Most are electricians who do this as a side business and really don't have proper network training. As I determined, Rod has 20 years of corporate networking experience and clearly knows what he is doing. And frankly, my own lengthy experience in the computer industry allowed me to make that judgment pretty confidently after two days of many technical discussions. He knows what he's doing. I'm happy to make a referral to MVWFP to anyone who needs to sort out their WiFi and network challenges, residential or commercial. Very pleased. As is my wife who is not yelling at me any longer. About this, anyway!

Executive Summary: Verizon hiding behind a subcontractor they chose and not reimbursing us for…read moretheir damages! Late last year, I had Verizon Fios installed at my home in Medford, New Jersey. This spring, when I activated my sprinkler system, I was surprised to see water shooting everywhere. I called my sprinkler company (not aware that it was caused by Verizon at that time) and they quickly identified that Verizon had "plowed" through my system and done some damage. I paid the sprinkler company to repair it and submitted his invoice, along with clear photo evidence of the damage to Verizon. That Sunday (before 8 am), a Verizon technician arrived and knocked on our door -- unexpected and pretty early on a Sunday. He inspected the area and said we'd hear back. My wife followed up (when we didn't hear back) and was told that we needed to submit the irrigation company's invoice and photo evidence? (We had already done this?). But, we complied and sent it again. To our surprise, we received a Release Waiver from a company called J. Fletcher Creamer & Sons? They were selected and subcontracted by Verizon and, as a condition of them reimbursing us, they expect us to sign a release that says if there are any other damages from their install that we have release them from any further costs? First, we didn't pick this subcontract--Verizon did. So why would we even be put in the middle of this? Verizon should just reimburse us and then deal with the subcontractor they chose. Second, why would we release them from any other damages they may have caused? I doubt there are other damages but seems like an over-reach on their part to seek indemnification from us? I presented my position back to Verizon (with their subcontractor on cc) and am awaiting their response. Meanwhile, we're out a few hundred dollars through no fault of our own. Honestly, not a great experience.

The project had a few quirks & lots of red tape, but they were able to pull it off. There was a 3rd-party engineer who was flaky, but I get it... outside consultants can be difficult. On the other hand, everyone directly at K&J was very responsive during the whole project. I'm glad there are still companies that'll work on systems in old buildings because we have plenty in Boston!

Stay away from these clowns. Our company used them for sprinkler system "maintenance" except they…read morenever did anything. The fire department had no proof of inspections at all even though they were supposed to be handling them. We also had a sprinkler system valve leaking in our generator room for well over a year and they couldn't fix it after three attempts at replacement. They kept saying it wasn't the valve even though water droplets were hanging off it every time they came back. I guess the emperor really doesn't have any clothes! Talk about a bunch of hacks! Avoid, avoid, avoid.
