Josh at the store is the most unprofessional person and he is rude and unknowledgeable. He refused help from his colleagues and he refused letting his colleagues to help us. I wish I could give this Verizon store zero stars. The manager was particularly rude and racist on his colleagues. Spent hours with Josh ended nothing. When we asked another staff at store for help, the manager came out and told us he can not help us and the manager sent us back to Josh. But Josh knew nothing about the business. We have to went to another Verizon store and have our phone port in within 20 minutes instead of 4 hours at Burlington store. I think I actually saw more customers in this store in the mall than I saw walking through the mall on my way to it. There were 3 employees working with customers, and I heard one say they were understaffed that afternoon. One was suggesting waiting customers either set up an appointment for later that afternoon or try going online for support, and she had to send customers who made an appointment out because they were at occupancy capacity. Unfortunately, they could not help me today, because my phone was too old to use as a trade-in. They did nave a full display of phone available to demo or purchase. Spent several hours with Moses and he failed to set up phone correctly, he then sent us home to set it up ourselves. Even though we were there for hours, manager never came to check. I politely said no and that I'd prefer a wired model and told her I had a Razor phone. She gave me a choice of two and I selected one and paid. I received no "thank you" or anything. OK fine. When I upgraded the iOS on my phone this morning, it rendered the phone unable to connect to phone service. Problematic. I rebooted it about 4 times, to no avail, chatted with a customer service rep online for half an hour, was told 4 times to dial *228 and kept explaining that the call failed because I had No PHONE SERVICE which is why I was contacting support. I humored the support rep and tried calling every time, despite previous failures. Finally I gave up and went to the Verizon Wireless store in the Burlington mall. I was greeted promptly and told to expect a 15 minute wait. Actual wait time:40 minutes. There was a guy there who was simply picking something up who was there for over half an hour, which seemed excessive to me. Also, there's no seating, so all of us waiting for service were forced to stand. The entire time, two smarmy employees were standing around talking to each other and doing nothing to help any of the customers in the store. Exasperating. At least try to pretend you're interested in helping people. When I finally got to deal with a person willing to help me, he was fantastic. Phong was polite, knowledgeable, and talked me through all my options. I ended up leaving with a new--functioning--iPhone 5c. I did lose all my contacts, but that's on me for failing to back up regularly. I have been a Verizon customer for over a decade and would never return to this store. read more

So I just left the store. I walked in to get a Google Home. When I first walked in the Employee was on the telephone. Obviously it was a personal telephone call. Even though I walked in the store, she continued on her call, whispering and laughing. Eventually another associate came out of what appeared to be the bathroom. He didn't look up he didn't ask I f anyone needed assistance but proceeded to do something with his cell phone. Myself with three other customers stood there looking for acknowledgement, but of course that didn't happen. Eventually one of the other customers approached the associate and asked for help. She was asked what did you need. The other associate finally hung up her phone call and started doing something on the cash register, still not looking up to see 3 customers standing there. Had a bad experience here. Came here looking to buy the new Note 7, and with my Note 3 being three years old, I already was ready to buy. Place was a little busy for a Friday afternoon but we sat on the waiting chairs waiting for someone to help us. The only Note 7 on display was being preoccupied by a worker helping another customer and we waited about 20 minutes for them to finish talking before finally being able to go over and look at the phone. After a few more minutes, we walked up to a worker at the cashier and asked if someone could please help cause we would like to buy the Note 7. He said he would add us to the list and we were next in line to be helped. Must've waited an additional 10 to 15 minutes and saw a few workers standing around, one even looking at us while he continued talking to another associate for like 5 min, so we said forget it and just left. Drove to the Reading location and as soon as we walked in, a worker took our name and said we were number 3 in line. We waited about 15 min and a worker came to help us. Walked out of there with my new Note 7 in 25 min total time, while the Burlington Mall location had us waiting 30+ minutes with absolutely no customer service or help. This place needs better staff. Do not go here. I tried to update my family plan, and it took me four visits in one week to get the phones and plan I wanted. Then, the store rep added visual voice mail to my phone after I told him not to. He said it was already added and not to worry because it is free for the first month. Well let me start with saying that this store has one of the worst costumer services I've seen, the guy "helped" me tonight was a idiot. I was looking to purchase the galaxy note 10+ , so I had some questions for him, to start I asked what was the main difference between the 10+ and the 10... his answer was the size, ok I'll let that one slide so I asked more specifically about the specs and all he did was press the info key on the phone and said there you go which by the way it only shows how much memory it has what mp the camera has, battery and a couple of other things. I want ed to know things like how long will the battery last with heavy use, is it water resistant how does the wireless charging share works and things like that but no he just looked at me without saying a word and was helping some other person, now if you're with someone else already dont take on someone else specially if you dont know your shit, seriously I've been coming to this store for the past 8 years since I moved to Burlington and 80% of the time I always get a bonehead that does not know anything about the product I want to purchase, but this is the first time I write a review about this store because I had it with their crappy customer service, I dont know if this company knows what kind of idiots they're hiring or if they even go some training because they need to make sure that they provide their costumers with the proper knowledge and response that we deserve. One of the worst shopping experiences I've had (I guess I am lucky). I just came to the store to look at the phones, as I am about to upgrade from my trusty old phone. There was hardly anyone in the store, at least in terms of shoppers (there were at least 5 staff there). However, I was met by the "greeters" (yes, there were two! - apparently, one was a trainee) who said that I had to wait until a sales rep would become available. And wait I did. and then I waited some more. Rather frustrating, given that there was maybe 1 other person actually shopping in the store and all I needed was to see a test model of a phone. Well, finally, the sales rep freed up and brought me the phone I was looking for. But... ta-dah.. after all the waiting the highly trained sales rep brought out a phone that was completely dead (no battery power whatsoever) and did not think to bring out a charger. So I asked him to bring out a charger as well - usually, people want to actually turn on a phone, not just weight it. To make the long story short, I think Verizon created unmanageable bureaucracy, at least in this store, and combined with employee incompetence it leads to an extremely frustrating shopping experience. Definitely do not recommend going to the store - do everything online if at all possible. read more

If you need to buy a phone at full retail, overpriced accessories, and not expect technical service, Burlington Mall Verizon is the place to go.... Had an issue with brand new Samsung phone. Verizon Burlington had me call 1-800 Samsung. Samsung tells me phone is not capable of what my 5 year old phone could do. Since new Samsung was not capable of simple hands free car texting like my old phone, I wanted to return it. Manager steps out from back and says he can find me a phone capable of hands free texting. Assures me the new full price iPhone can do this simple task. On his word, I buy the iPhone. He slaps on $40 screen saver, sells me a case, and TRYS to sell me iPad and earbuds. Out I go. After way to much time trying to get hands free texting to work, Verizon sends me to Apple store. Apple finds nothing wrong, said it should work and suggests I talk to Nissan. I disconnect & reconnect bluetooth 3-4 times. Still not working. Back to another Apple store, they connect me with phone support and still no cause or resolution from the Geniuses. Now I'm stuck with overpriced POS that has and endless variety of emojis but can't perform a simple safety task. If you want a phone that will perform simple business functions that were developed years ago, avoid Verizon Burlington and the bullshiting sales and managers.. read more

My wife went to this store today and they were rude and unhelpful. I bought her the Galaxy 5s at the Rockingham store (great customer service) for her birthday. On her birthday she went to the Burlington mall and thought it would be easy to just have the phone activated at the store. They sales rep was terrible. Getting a new phone should be a nice experience where the sales guy walks you through some features and makes sure you everything is working. She was there for an hour, they accused me of buying the phone in some back alley, and didnt transfer anything over from the old phone. I would complain to the store management, but they likely dont care as there wasnt many customers there today and nobody stepped in to help. The employee Brittney was very helpful. She was very patient assisting me with setting up my new phone. I never felt rushed and she went above and beyond. The last thing she tried to do before I was leaving was transfer my phone number from my previous service. Her 2 co workers were not pleasant. She asked how long they would be using the store phones to finish conducting there business and they both were like its gonna be a long time, however the miserable girl got off the phone as we were standing next to her. These two employees instructed me to go to verizon website because it would be so much easier. the website never loaded. i waited on the verizon customer service line for 30 minutes and finally got through to someone who then plugged me through to an automated service. The warm reception I got when I walked in, and the prompt excellent service I got from multiple people including Eric, Diane, and Kevin, made for a very satisfactory experience. These people know what they are doing and they know how to service the needs of the customer. I have no clue where those are coming from who criticized this place - I disagree. Deceptive business practices! Slick fast talking sales guys that make used car salesmen look like angels!I upgraded my phone here last year - this is the verizon store upstairs across from the food court - and while they were helpful in getting my phone set up, I go downstairs and check out Radio Shack - same phone, same Verizon plan, 30 bucks cheaper ... I go back upstairs and explain to them, they try and talk to me about it - and they will _not let me_ return the phone the _just_ activated minutes ago.... but they did give me 3 ten dollar verizon store gift cards... fast forward months later to this afternoon ... I look around and see that they have a pack four stylus pens for sale. They are contained in the standard plastic bubble with the cardboard backing, it is clearly one package. One item for sale to any reasonable person. No price tag on it. I pick it up and ask the guy at the counter how much? He checks - $15 I take out a couple of the $10 gift cards that I got _at this same location_ months ago and before I can put them on the counter he says "Those can only be used for purchases of $30 or more" ... ARE YOU KIDDDING ME?!?!??! I checked and there was simply nothing else at the store I needed or even wanted to bring my purchase up to $30. So I just put it on credit card ... then the sales guy OPENS THE PACKAGE I just bought and asks 'Which one do you want?' WHAAA???!?!?! I explained as I did above how it is clearly one package of four stylus pens - one item - one barcode on the back - one unit .... At this point my card had already been charged! So I picked out one of them and just walked out, feeling like I had been cheated by such an incredible unethical business practice, in the multiple ways described here... I went to the Verizon store today to upgrade my horrible Droid phone for the new iPhone. Below is my almost exact experience. Rep: Can I help you? Me: I have an upgrade due to me and I would like to get the new iPhone. Rep: Have you considered the new Droid? Me: No because I have a Droid and it is horrible. I have waited a year to get rid of it and I would like the new iPhone. Rep: The new Droid is much better than the old. It has 4g and you can stream videos and Youtube faster. Me: But I don't use my phone for that. I use my Kindle. Rep: What about the iPad? It is much better for videos and Internet use. Me: I don't want an iPad, I want and iPhone. I would like to look at the iPhones. Rep: Droids now have gorilla glass. Me: I don't want a Droid. I want an iPhone. Rep: Why? The Droid is so much better. Me: I like the option of playing all my music from my iPod on my phone. Nice and easy. Rep: You can play all your iTunes on your Droid. Me: No, you cant. Many won't play because of their format. Rep: There is a software you can get that will help you transfer them into the right format. Me: Or I could just get an iPhone and have no extra steps. Rep: Well the Droid is more economical.
