I also added the PTZ HD dome to my camera system. Although it cost a little more than the stationary HD cameras, the results are amazing. They also set the system up so I receive an email if the any camera sees motion, at NO addition charge!! There is of course a free app that you can download to watch live streaming video right from your phone. I can even control the PTZ from my phone, which is awesome! I can now leave my house without a doubt, that every square inch is being monitored, and recorded. Perfect example - After just two months of have my security cameras a construction company was building a house next to mine. The superintendent noticed that I had security cameras, and asked if I could review my video because he had a stack of about 50 plywood sheets stolen over the weekend. I called Code Red Systems to get their advanced help. Without hesitation they were able to locate the thief in action on my PTZ. Turned over the video, and the guy was caught! I did have a small glitch about every 10 seconds on one of the camera. I called and spoke with Justin about it, and with hesitation he said he was going to replaced the camera. I didn't think it was a big deal, but Justin wanted it cameras to be perfect. He came out and in about 15 minutes the camera was replaced and has been working great ever since. To top it off, while he was there he helped me set up my wifi extender for my surround sound speakers outside! I will never go without a security camera system again. Over the 6 years, we have had bad batteries, but they would come out to replace them, they made a trip to update my panel, and since I can handle it myself, they also sent me spare batteries for when I need them. Now it is 2018 and we are getting ready to move and the first question that comes to mind is, does Intrepid service my new location. I plan on using them again. I won't even consider the others.

I got a call back from Brian, who answered all my questions, and I decided to press forward. He hooked me up with Chase, the technician who'd do the install. Chase showed up for the initial assessment, and helped me make sense of camera placement, etc. When Chase showed up for the install, he was just as professional, and answered any additional questions I had. All I had to do was stay out of his way and let him work. He showed me everything I needed to know in terms of the camera app and made sure to walk with me to confirm camera views. A true professional. I had an issue with the software, and received an immediate callback from Dustin, who helped me clear up my issue. Really good experience so far all the way around.

They worked with me to ensure I was satisfied, something you don't always see these days. They'll still get referrals from me, because I don't think those guys that screwed up my install work for them anymore. PS- if you can get Josh from Austin to do your install, I highly recommend!! The install started Saturday... yet two technicians and three in-home visits later... and one more "planned" for tomorrow... who knows when it will get done?! I honestly can't believe I'm paying for this. My home is less than 2 weeks old (brand new, just built) yet the technicians have managed to screw up my electrical wiring (no electricity to my master bedroom) and blew two transformers. The second blown transformer is why they've got to come out the fourth time. To top it off, the second technician committed to coming at 5:30pm but acts like it's an inconvenience and would rather come earlier. I get it, don't agree to it and have True Protection send someone else (don't accept the job). True Protection does not seem to care... gave me a free lock for my door - thanks, but this service still sucks! Brett said he is going to make this right with a third technician.
