But I was hopeful given the new barbell equipment I saw at this location compared to others that it would be more powerlifter/bodybuilder-friendly. Before I start my formal complaint- I want to recognize that I respected the no bag rule, and did not mind complying when I was confronted. What I'm angry about is the hypocrisy, tone, and lack of consistency. I see men at this gym every day with backpacks on the floor. So I figured it was fine as long as it's not on a walkway. Somehow I'm the only one who ever gets told anything while I'm there. So I get told. Fine. I was taking a second to put my AirPod back in so I could grab my bag, this woman waves her hand at me to tell me AGAIN. Not even .2 seconds later. It was so rude and off putting I just went home and have gone to another gym since. I've accepted I've outgrown this place and this is not a place for true growth. It's unrealistic to expect someone who lifts heavy weights to not have equipment. Also expecting them to go back and forth to a locker to carry things like straps and belts in their hands is moronic. I understand that's corporate. But oh wait- you only care when certain people do it. The way this location goes about it is inconsistent, so it then becomes targeting behavior. Most staff have been nothing but nice and understanding, then there's one in particular that seems to pick on me. TLDR- Inconsistent policy enforcement, just go to powerhouse instead lol
