Warrior zone has high quality equipment and has everything you need for a good workout. I have yet to try their bootcamps but they look amazing and I love how personable the owner is. The amazing costumer service with the privacy of the gym and high quality equipment is what makes an amazing gym and this gym has it all.

This includes me, David Baker, B, and J Baker. Do not draw another month's membership dues on July 1, 2026. After being a member since 1999 the membership fee tripled. I stopped by the front desk at the gym and spoke with Chris. Very friendly and helpful. After discussing my concern he shared an email to contact member services. He also noted my account had no email address and I shared my email with him. I emailed my concern on June 5, 2026. Membership ACH- David Baker ...@gmail.com Jun 5, 2026, 12:48PM to powerhousegymsocal.com On May 1, 2026 my account draw tripled. I was not notified of a rate change. Please contact me to reconcile. Thank you, David Baker I have yet to receive a communication from anyone monitoring this email. I decided to speak with someone at the gym on Friday June 26, 2026. As my luck would have it, I encountered a staff member whose name I do not recall who claimed he was the Vice President multiple times during our conversation. I shared my concern that I had my account drawn for triple the amount without being notified and this overdrew my account. He was apologetic and went on to communicate that Powerhouse lawyers said that they did not have to notify anyone and that it was just a courtesy after I mentioned I looked it up and my understanding was that it was a California law protecting consumers. He assured me multiple times ( at least 3 more times) that the lawyers confirmed the gym was well within its rights to raise fees without notification. He continued to add, "...and your rates will be double that soon.." He asked if I wanted to cancel due to the increase. I related that I understand rates change and my concern was regarding the lack of notification. I mentioned a possible remedy being a couple of months at my former rate so I could decide what action to pursue as other members had been afforded. He said that he could not give me my membership for free. When I mentioned I was not given the common courtesy of notification and this remedy was not free he reiterated that the lawyers said..."..........." broken record response again. (The broken record response was a strategy taught and recommended during my Teacher Credentialing courses that I honestly believe is condescending even to students and refused to employ it, let alone would any one of my Business School Professors have ever encouraged its use by the Vice President of any business. Out of utter frustration I requested to speak to the person who did not have a Vice in front of his title. He scoffed, The President?! And added They will say the same thing I told you, The lawyers said ...blah blah blah... At the end of this slow trainwreck that the poor kid attending the desk next to us had to witness and endure with a smirk trying to stifle laughter I would venture, I mentioned that in case you're wondering, you are not a customer service expert and departed. I lament that a place I believed I would die being a member of has such disdain for its members and is so poorly managed.
