Such a great gym to workout at. They're motivating and push you to your limits (in a good way); definitely noticing results and increased strength/endurance. Workouts are never boring for sure! I've felt comfortable from day one here & never thought I would actually be able to do CrossFit! They scale workouts if need be but those are still intense They do nutrition challenges and other community events (**recently did a 5k, while the more elite members did a 25k!) Amazing gym with knowledgeable trainers and top of the line equipment. I was looking for a challenge/ wanted to learn more about weightlifting, and that's exactly what I'm getting. I started here about 2 years ago and I did not know anything about lifting weights. The technique they teach in weight lifting, is like having a personal trainer without paying for one. Brenda and Josh the owners and Dictor the main CrossFit Trainer make it very comfortable to workout at the facility. It is very family oriented (which I love!). Everyone comes to workout and motivates each other. Whatever level you are the coaches help you every step of the way. The facility has row machines, ropes, assualt bikes, all kinds of weights (Olympic, kettlebell, dumbbells, and more). I have been going here for about a year and I must say I am very satisfied. I know for many it is very intimidating to get back into working out, but at Renatus Athletics they make it easy and truly care about every athlete from beginner to expert. I have been very lucky to train with all coaches and every single one is super awesome. They make sure your form is good so you do not get hurt also making sure the weight is good for you so you do not hurt yourself that way either. Also they are able to modify all the WODS depending on the athlete, their main goal is for every athlete to succeed and meet their personal goals. All coaches explain everything very thoroughly and demonstrate as well. Another plus at Renatus Athletics is they are also a water place might I add very good water too. I have been working out here for almost a year. This is the longest I have stuck to any one workout routine/program. Eventually I ended up bored with all the other gyms and fitness classes I've tried. I needed a challenge and I have found it at Crossfit Renatus. What keeps me coming back is not only the daily change up of workouts and the challenge it provides but also the people. The encouragement I get from the coaches and other members is amazing. Everyone is very nice. The coaches walk around and ensure our form is correct and correct any errors they see. It is very family oriented and friendly environment. First impression... I felt over welcomed. I was provided with a free week to check out the environment, staff, and see if it was a good fit for my needs. In no less than 3 days I was hooked. Mind you, I've stopped to get water the last 2 years prior, as the Water Box is connected, and never thought this was where I need to be. I signed in to get fit and lose fat and instead I'm getting toned, building muscle, and feeling swole. The environment is too favorable, and the trainers overqualified. They're too awesome and it makes me sick. I've made new friends, which I never intended to make. Josh, fitness trainer/owner/veteran, has pushed me to the edge and I think he is just waiting to see how far I'll go in my personal fitness journey. I loathe waking up at the crack of dawn just to make it in and see all those wonderful faces in the AMs. Sometimes I sneak in the PMs to make up for not waking up on time. The classes are an hour long and the workouts are posted up the night before on their Facebook group. Makes it easier to not show up when there's running involved. The sessions are held outdoors, so if you're looking for a fancy indoor gym this place is not for you. If you're looking to show up like Barbie or Ken and leave the same way, this place is not for you. If you're afraid of getting down and dirty, again this gym is outdoors, then this gym IS NOT FOR YOU. If you don't like to listen to the best of the 90s while working out, you could bring your own headphones, otherwise this place is not for you. If you don't want to break a sweat...you already know, this is not the place for you. Cone stations have their own sanitation bottles and the towels are provided for pick up to clean your equipment before and after use. It's a judgement free zone and everyone is ever so welcoming. Ugh. The staff is straight forward and the facility counts with 2 full restrooms/showers and a gated waiting area for children inside the building. Did I mention it's connected to the Water Box, so if you forget to fill your water bottle or need a refill you need not worry. It's been my total pleasure to be a member of the Renatus Athletics and you are ever so welcome to be in the presence of my sovereign status. I go there to purchase the drinking water. The price is good and the water tastes great because of the reverse osmosis system they use. They also have mineral water. What's nice is that if you have a lot of bottles they will help you carry them to your car. The gym set up looks pretty good with really nice exercise equipment. The owner uses it as he and his wife are in excellent shape. He's a former Marine and I thank him for his service. The people who work there are very nice. read more

If you're looking to get into drama, this is the place to go. Everyone knows everyone's business, everyone gossips about and dates each other, so overall just not a positive environment. Another thing that makes it uncomfortable is that everyone treats this box as an in real life dating app, so drama takes over all, and that's not really my scene. Also really small, which wouldn't be an issue if they kept up with cleanliness; they don't. After a workout, you're covered in dirt so I wouldn't recommend wearing your good gear. It gets super hot since for the majority of the time you workout outdoors, so I would keep that in mind. Also, a lot of people bring their kids and they run around the gym swinging on the ropes and screaming. All of this could have been bearable had there been excellent coaching, but there wasn't. On a positive note, I did enjoy my weightlifting coach, Patrick. He seemed to be the only one who knew what they were talking about. I have been a member of the Renatus Family since May of 2013. At that time, I was dealing with mobility and weight issues which really took their toll on me both physically and emotionally. During the time I first looked into CrossFit on a friend's recommendatoin, I had a regular gym membership, which essentially equated to nothing more than more than paying 60+ dollars a month to use the gym's equipment, wether I knew what I was doing, was a whole different topic. Any training, nutritional guidance or extras cost you just that, EXTRA. When I found my new home at CrossFit Renatus, yes, I was skeptical I would stay with it, but after first walking through that door, everyone from the coaches and owners to the person that was just as new as I was, to every member of every class I attended conveyed that sense of community that I had always heard about from my friends who were inolved in CrossFit. Forward almost 2 years now, and every day I'm there, I feel accomplished, wether it's from improving my times, getting new personal records in lifts, I feel I walk away (sometimes gingerly) knowing I am better today than I was yesterday. Watching my accomplishments, and wanting to share in them, my wife and kids are now members of the CrossFit Renatus family. They have achieved their own goals and work to be better everyday. In the end, being part of this community not only has made me healthier, it has made me a better example for my family and friends. My only regret, is that I didn't join sooner. The box is clean, equipment is in great condition, and I feel like I wouldn't want to be at any other box.
