They have a secondary area of the office for sunglasses and prescription glasses, which some insurances offer discounted rates for after you have your annual exam. Been coming here for about 5 yrs now and it's my go-to for eyewear. They have a great selection of frames and Dr Love explains the exams well. The ladies assisting him are great and Carmen continuously goes above and beyond anytime my jobs have gotten complicated. Carmen is very experienced in the industry and if something can't be done, she always comes up with ideas to get me to where I need to be with my glasses. Carmen has on several occasions transferred my lens from one set of frames to another with one of the transfers being extremely difficult but after a relentless effort, she got it done! The office staff are kind and helpful with determining insurance and scheduling. And this Dr. goes the distance to understand your vision and eye health needs Another doctor, who I liked a lot personally, fitted one eye well but couldn't get me into a lens for the other eye that gave me consistent, reliable vision. I was blurry about half the time. I was referred to Dr Love by another patient. He did a thorough exam, including a retinal scan. He diagnosed a condition in the eye giving me challenges (for which I'll be seeking vision therapy), and he helped me find contacts that are designed differently to be more stable for more consistent vision. He shared his assessment and treatment approach ideas aloud and readily helped me trial lenses over a few days. He responded promptly, professionally and thoroughly in person and via email. He cited research, current and pending products, procedures, and treatments. And, while in office, I observed him and his whole team trying to respond to a patient who walked in with an eye emergency (though he was not even an existing patient). There's still some challenges with my eyes and getting things fully dialed in because of my unique eye structure, this newly diagnosed vision problem, and current irritants. But I am seeing better than I was more consistently and am hopeful that I'm on the path to even better and more consistent vision down the road. Thanks Dr Love and team. read more

It's been several months since we moved to Temecula, and I was overdue to get my eyes checked. I loved my optometrist in OC, and finding a new optometrist was going to be a challenge, or so I thought. After a lot of research I came across Clear Sight Optometry. I wish I could remember her name, but I called with my questions, she was very accommodating and provided excellent customer service. Once I got my answers, I was ready to schedule my appointment. They were able to get me in quickly. Upon walking into the office, Dr. Love immediately greeted me with a smile, and his wife, who happened to be helping out that day, made me feel welcome. I waited for five minutes, if that, and Dr. Love started running the usual tests for my eyes. He was very thorough, answered my questions, and, most importantly, treated me like a person, not a number. Once Dr. Love completed my eye exam, he walked me over to the eyeglass area. As I was discussing glasses with the woman, I realized she was the one who initially took my call and scheduled my appointment. She was just as friendly in person. Dr. Love is the Best! I am so very happy that I switched to Clear Sight. I had been going to a chain optical for several years, with poor results. Last year it was the last straw -- my prescription was absolutely wrong, and the doctor I saw would not listen to me about my own eyes. Fast forward to yesterday, when I met with Dr. Love. I spoke to him at length about the issues I was having with my current contacts and prescriptions, about family health history and my vision needs. My new prescription is perfect. He was even kind enough to give me some alternatives and show me how the prescription could be different. A good vision prescription is, in part, based on the subjective experience and preference of the patient, and I was so pleased that Dr. Love took the time to really understand my needs and make sure my prescription was perfect for me. The staff was also friendly and the prices are reasonable. The office is nice and they had a good selection of frames. I am happy to have finally found this optometrist. read more

Update: Another year, another eye exam and while there is a different face, the Doctor that Dr. Kim selected for his practice is someone that gave the same type of care and kindness. My youngest who wears glasses has been squinting lately so we knew she would need a new prescription. While taking the eye exam she was getting flustered and discouraged at not being able to read the letters .... Dr. Love was very kind and patient with her and let her feel comfortable in knowing that it was okay to pass a letter if she could not see it well enough to read it. When all was done she left with a big smile, a new prescription, and some brand new glasses picked out and put on order. I would still highly recommend Clear Sight Optometry to anyone young or old under Dr. Love. Also, Peggy is still there and she is still just as sweet as she's always been. If you're an adult and need glasses I would highly recommend going in to see her but especially if you have a little one. We loved our previous optometrist in Long Beach but with our recent move we thought we should find an office 10 minutes away versus an hour. The woman who did my pre exam screenings was fantastic (I didn't catch her name) though I've had eye exams annually all my life, she was so thorough and explained everything so well. The best optometry experience I have ever had (and I've had lots). I could tell that the staff here really care about their clients and take pride in their work. They conveniently gave me a reminder call for my appointment and the receptionist was so friendly and courteous over the phone and in person. The office is very modern with a relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Kim was very efficient, methodical, and professional. He didn't just do a routine eye exam, he went above and beyond to make sure that my eyes were healthy and would stay healthy for years to come. As a plus, he uses a special camera that takes incredible images of your retina (so cool!) and he also uses a new device that measures intraocular pressure without that dreadful puff of air shooting in your eye! I ordered contact lenses but they have a large selection of modern, designer frames which I will be sure to come back to check out. I highly recommend this place for your family's eye care. When we moved from San Jacinto to Menifee in 2015 we needed to find an optometrist that was closer to home. Our present doctor in Hemet was fantastic but we did not want to travel that far. We tried Doctor Love and were hooked. He was very knowledgeable and professional as well as compassionate. At that time he was at a practice in Menifee but after a few years opened his own practice in Temecula. Well after two years of settling for care at the old practice in Menifee after Dr. Love left, we decided it was worth the drive to Temecula.
