A great eye exam and contact / glasses appointment for my husband and myself. Dr. Love made sure that our exams were thorough and that we had the correct prescriptions. He even made a point to provide my husband with a recommendation for over the counter eye drops that would help his dry eyes and his recommendation was cost effective. When it came to the actual contact and glasses order they made sure that we were receiving every discount possible. This practice was previously owned by Dr. Kim. I had gone to him for a couple of years. However, to my surprise, he sold his practice to the WONDERFUL Dr. Love. I have just moved to Temecula from Northern California. I found Clear Sight Optometry through yelp and decided to give them a call. Peggy was the one who answered and was able to get me an appointment the next day. Upon walk in, I was greeted by Dr. Kim and the receptionist in the front (sorry I forgot her name). I had to fill out some paper work - name, address, insurance, medical history, etc. Shortly after, the receptionist in front took me into a room. We did a few tests which took roughly about 5-10 minutes. Then I went to the next room over and Dr. Kim finished the exam. The whole process took about 15-20 minutes. It was fast and easy! He was very kind and welcoming. He explained each step prior to examining my eye. After I was done with my eye exam, I picked out my glasses. Peggy was very helpful! She took her time to give me suggestions about the frames that she thought looked good on me. I was always set on choosing black, big framed, square glasses. However, I went with her suggestion and fell in love with the more feminine glasses! I can't wait for it to come. I've always been in denial about wearing glasses... maybe because it didn't look right on me and/or it felt uncomfortable. But overall, I really enjoyed my experience here! I normally don't write reviews unless the service was exceptionally good or exceptionally horrible. I'm glad to say that I had an amazing experience with Dr. Kim. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my vision and he seemed to take a lot of pride in his work. During the process of my work up he specifically asked about my interests and hobbies so that he could take that into consideration. I've been wearing glasses/contacts for 15 years...no one has been as thorough as Dr. Kim was. His office was modern and clean. His equipment was kind of cutting edge, he showed me pictures of my retina with this fancy machine. Other than his care, I really appreciated the time he and his assistant Peggy took with me to make sure I had all the pricing options and I was getting the most out of my insurance! Awesome optometrist! Thanks Yelp for guiding me here. Scheduling online was ridiculously easy and I got an appointment within 2 days. The receptionists were hilarious and nice and answered promptly when I had questions. Dr. Love is super nice and professional, which is much needed when you have to sit so close to someone staring at your eyes for 30 minutes. He did a thorough examination for concerns I had and I'm thankful for the time he took, I didn't feel brushed over at all. Ordering my prescription glasses was a breeze after with frames they have there (cute ones included, mostly ranging 120-200 from what I looked at). There was no hard selling on up charges, the lady that helped me listed all the options clearly from cheapest to expensive for upgrades and I felt no pressure if I wanted to go with the cheapest one, I.e. No anti glare etc. I hadn't been to the optometrist for a few years and had put off finding one locally, but will happily be back annually and refer my friends/family! read more

I met Dr. Kim and staff yesterday after winning an eye exam from a local contest. I have to also say that I used to work for a different local optometrist, who is quite popular but will remain nameless. This experience was incredible. Truly. The intake was quick, and painless. The fundus photography was just as quick and easy (medical pictures of your eyes to check retinal health). Lastly my eye exam. Dr. Kim was funny, concise and totally brought his 'A' game. Not only was I able to dial back my prescription (which has never happened. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years) but I got crystal clear vision out of it. AMAZING. Looking around his showroom for a pair of glasses to purchase was awesome too. His staff is informative and helpful. Of course my favorite pair were Tiffany frames. *sigh* Long story short, you need to see Dr. Kim. I have found my new eye doctor and I couldn't be more pleased. :-D read more

Exceptional and Professional service!! Last week I went in for a eye exam. I was able to get an appointment for myself and each person of my family fairly quickly. I've seen this optometry office advertised on Facebook. They take my insurance, so I decided to give it a try. Brought my 10 and 6 year old here. First impression- we were able to score quick appointments. We walked into the office-it was decorated really well. It was clean and friendly staff. We were taken back promptly the exam was very thorough. The doctor explained everything to me between kids. Then he took the time to ask me if I had any questions and gave me samples as well as advice and suggestions. After we ordered my daughters glasses we were thanked for stopping in. A few hours later, I received an email with a full recap of our visit with directions for the kids. That type of service is unheard of now a days! What an awesome doc and staff! Took my sister for her very first eye exam. We were greeted by Megan with a smile. They were very understanding because we did arrive 15 minutes late. And they still saw her, which we were very grateful. Dr. Kim was very thorough, informative, and attentive. At the end of the appointment I was very surprised with how great of service they have that I had Peggy check to see if I was able to do MY annual EYE EXAM . Found my new eye doctor! By far the best eye doctor I have been to, Dr. Kim is very thorough and spends his time answering any questions or concerns you may have. He also provides tips on how to enhance your overall eye health. The office staff is very friendly and welcoming and the office is outfitted with new state of the art equipment, this speaks volumes for comfort! I had my eye exam with Dr. Kim and Peggy this week and couldn't have had a better experience. Starting with the scheduling process, I was one of those people who had to cancel and reschedule more than once. On the second time Dr. Kim answered the phone which says something about about him right off the bat. He also called for the reminder and it just means a lot to see a provider help his staff. On top of that he does it with a smile on his face. Even after the exam he stayed out in the lobby area with Peggy and talked to me about the glasses/how the different lens coating work/etc. The office is gorgeous and then exam was educational. I was way overdue for a new contact prescription and was leaving the next day for a big trip. I called without very much hope that 1) I'd be covered under my eye insurance and 2) I'd be able to be seen that day. Well I am happy to admit that I was wrong on both counts! Not only did his staff check right away to see if I was covered, but Dr. Kim was able to see me that day. He and his staff were super friendly. I felt comfortable from the start, which I think is really important when you're visiting a new doctor, optometrist, etc. for the first time. There are many options regarding eyewear and I felt like the staff was very intent on understanding what I wanted. The options were explained to me clearly, and they even went out of their way to find solutions that would work for me. Wow seriously so many good things to say about this place!!! First off they have a 5 star rating on yelp, which is not the easiest to attain on yelp, and have only been open for a few months.
