On my second visit, I brought in a pair of Louis Vuitton sunglasses with a broken bolt and a bent temple arm. Lyndon was very transparent and explained that trying to bend the arm back into place could potentially cause it to break. A couple of days later, he called to let me know they were ready for pickup, and I was so relieved! They turned out great, and I honestly expected the worst. I came in to have a temple repaired on my eyeglass frame. Linden was very honest & explained that repairs like mine have to be sent out, and there have been occasional issues with items being lost or stolen in transit. Since these frames are discontinued & very special to me, I decided not to risk it. He did try to find a replacement temple, but wasn't able to find a suitable one. Linden was polite & upfront about my options. After leaving, I got lucky & was able to squeeze in for a much-needed eye exam across the way (due to a cancellation) & ended up ordering new glasses. Be sure to call ahead to verify hours, especially around holidays, as they can vary. The shop is closed Saturdays, which is a downside, but it's the only true eyeglass repair shop in the area--other 2 nearby places in the promenade don't actually offer repairs. Prices are very reasonable too. Conveniently located near Target & CVS next to the Kumon Learning Center. I'd definitely keep this place in mind for future repairs. read more

I went out of the country end of October and the first day the arms on my eyeglasses just fell apart at the hinges. When I returned I took the glasses to Costco Murrieta to see if they could do the repair. They said they could not but they gave me a card to Eyeglass Express. I called and spoke to Lyndon and headed over to see if the frame was reparable. Lyndon was very kind and informed me that he would send the frame out to see if it could be repaired. No promises which was fine. I just picked the sunglasses up yesterday. The frame hinge was as good as new. It took a couple weeks but there was Thanksgiving holiday in between. It was worth the wait! Being over 400 miles from home when your wife's lens falls out of her glasses and you can't pop it back in is, to say the least, no fun at all. In a hasty search, we found Eyeglass Express just a mile or so from our hotel. As soon as it opened, we were there. Ten minutes later, we walked out with the lens fully secured. In the mean time, Lyndon (the optician and, I presume, owner) explained why and how the lens came out and what he did to secure it. We also engaged Lyndon in a short conversation about bringing our glasses prescription in and having him make our new glasses rather than continuing to go through the optometrists office. VERY PROFESSIONAL! The gentleman at the front (Landon) was exceptional. I arrived and he was with another customer. He acknowledged me and told me he'd be right with me. He didn't take long with the ladies who were in there before me and promptly addressed my concerns. My family member has a pair of broken glasses that had the temple of the frame break. I came into ask if it was fixable, it is but unfortunately the better option would be to contact the manufacturer of the glasses, get a new part and return. I was impressed that he wasn't just trying to sell and I received ZERO pressure. I felt like a respected customer and I'll be sure to return! The service I'll need is about $20 which is a fair price. If your frames are totally damaged but you still have the lenses, you can have him transfer them over to a new set of frames! Owner is an optician and is an expert at his craft. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time because he was very quick yet meticulous while repairing my glasses. I initially came in to get my silhouette frames fixed. Owner could've just taken my money and sent it to their welder but he advised against it because it wouldn't have lasted long since titanium is already a hard metal to work with and there was nothing that would brace the soldered metal. I appreciated the honest advice as I would've surely regretted spending the money on the job if it just break again later. He showed me other titanium arm options and I settled on one that I felt would match my silhouette frames. He installed it in literally less than 10 minutes then fitted it on my face to make sure it was comfortable and it stayed on. My glasses look fantastic and you can't tell that the arms had been replaced by a different brand and it is sooooo lightweight and comfortable. Please support your local business! I don't get all the five-star reviews. My glasses broke, so based on the positive Yelp recommendations, I went here. I had two choices. Pay $20 and wait two weeks for them to send the repair out to another shop, or pay $150 and get new frames by the next day. (The next day, no one was in the shop and no one answered the phone, but that's another story.) I chose the new frames. I didn't realize it when I picked up the new frames, but they were child-sized. The lenses keep brushing against my eyelids because the ear pieces are too short. They get smeared from my eyelids, so I have to clean the lenses constantly. The owner who sold these knew they were too small, so he angled the lenses up diagonally so there would be room for an adult nose. I could have gone back to this place to complain, but neither of the two guys who work there were wearing masks, and I don't want to get Covid. I'll eat the $150 and find a decent eyeglass place and replace the kid frames they gave me. read more

Stopped in Lens Crafter at the Promenade where I get my eye exams but I realized I'm going to have to spend $100-200 on a pair of designer frames while also spending 1.5hrs choosing between 2 "OK" looking frames. Just upon walking in, I noticed HUNDREDS of frames and the owner even pulled more from the back that were still in little bags.
