That price felt reasonable, so I asked what exactly it included. The policy was explained to me along the lines of: "We can usually cover the cost of parts within this price, but occasionally there are outliers where additional costs may be necessary depending on the repair." Honestly, I found that even more reasonable. We live in a world where tech manufacturers care less and less about repairability and seem to believe you're better off just buying a new device instead of fixing the one you have. Asus itself charges a minimum diagnostic fee of $99, and that doesn't even include shipping. At that point, I can only imagine what the communication and turnaround time would look like. After a few days of diagnostics, it was explained to me that I would need a new keyboard. Most of the keys simply needed a little work to get functioning again, but unfortunately my "C" key was completely done for, which was obviously out of their control. A replacement keyboard was ordered from a relatively local supplier, but it arrived defective, so we had to pivot to another option from China. What really impressed me was that they returned my laptop to me while we waited for the new keyboard to arrive. That wasn't even something I had considered as a possibility. Even though the repair wasn't complete yet, I greatly appreciated being able to use my laptop in the meantime. That is absolutely not something you'd get from the manufacturer. The estimated arrival time for the replacement keyboard was about a month, but it actually showed up in only about two and a half weeks. I was psyched. I dropped my laptop off in the morning right when they opened, and it was ready for pickup by the end of the same day. Best of all, I was told there would be no additional charges beyond the original quote. Both of the gentlemen behind the counter were thoughtful, considerate, and professional throughout the entire process. The pricing was highly reasonable, the communication was excellent, and I got my laptop back in perfect shape in a timely manner. Highly, highly recommend.

They gave us a sliding scale depending on labor for specific jobs. When they invoiced us, they included receipts for parts... this is something that we rarely see but it creates a sense of trust and honesty. There are no surprises. Our first job was a lesser, more simple, job-we had at few sockets replaced one of which was a very loose socket that we were concerned about arcing. The second job was more extensive as there were several "needs" in one day. They replaced overhead light fixtures (3 of them), replaced an old and VERY outdated (probably from when our house was built over 35 years ago!) smoke/fire alarm, and installed bedside wall mounted lights. The service person even said they were very slow and tried to sell me on a new door. Since the maintenance, one of the springs snapped. They came out and fixed it for more $$. Now, a couple months later, our door is completely off its rails and crooked. Called a different place. They said Turbo installed the wrong size spring and didn't calibrate the drums correctly, causing the door to fail. So now we DO have to replace our door. Go find another company.
