An Employee stole a phone from my wife and they keep telling her nothing can be done and that she must wait to hear back from higher ups. That was over 6 months ago!! Highly DISAPPOINTED and Dissatisfied with this store. Went in to switch over to METRO and port in 3 numbers with them and the Manager was a complete JACKASS. The girl that was helping me was new and didn't know exactly what she was doing but that was alright with me because she was nice. And helped me get done what I needed done even though it took some time because she was new. But the stupid jackass for the store manager was a moody prick. ABSOLUTELY nothing but rude not only to me but to all of his employees. I'm just letting you know that I am giving your store a big thumbs down and hope you rot in hell you piece of shit! Every single time I have had to go into this store the past year for some sort of phone assistance I have left unsatisfied. The customer service is the biggest issue, everyone who works here is extremely pretentious and condescending. Ex: I bought a phone off of ebay and tried to activate it in the store. They wouldn't activate it for me because I didn't buy the phone from them. (All bullshit, I contacted the seller with the issue and they told me to just go to a different metro store.)Then they made me feel like I was an idiot for buying a phone off of ebay and tried to sell me a phone. I told them I would consider purchasing a phone after I returned the ebay phone, and the sales associate responded "What? You dont have any money in your account?" in a condescending tone. Went in with my wife a while back. She needed a new phone. She was on the $30 plan. She got her new phone. They offered a free line so we accepted. Were both on Metros $30 plan. Two phones, unlimited talk text and data. All was good than with all this Covid -19 bills and everything got all backed up. We lost our internet. No problem. Well just use our phones for a bit till we can pay X-Finity, who I dont know how is worse than Metro. Anyway, our phones internet went down. Got a text saying out of data. Go to metro.com and top up. I call Metro. They say its $5 per line to add 2gb of data. I said its supposed to be unlimited. Thats the $50-&-$60 plan. No its not. Weve never not had unlimited data. You do now. Plans change all the time. You only get 2gb of data now on your plan. Paid $5 so my wife can atleast get her emails. Now we have a 2gb data plan. Wtf Metro? Changing plans without telling customers. Ridiculous. They seriously have no idea how to treat customers. read more

I spent ($500) five hundred dollars plus for nothing. I am partially paralyzed and needed contact and texting in Boyes Hot Springs. from Santa Rosa, CA. The Santa Rosa Sore was happy to sell me my third phone ( two new LG's) but failed to inform me they would not work. The land line Internet works but not Metro PCS... This area is a cell phone blackout do to canyons. Texting for medical appointments, were sent fail, sent fail, sent fail. The store just wanted my money. I was having problems with an Iphone that I purchased from MetroPCS on Mendocino Ave. Finally, I used my insurance and bought another phone from MetroPCS. When I got the new one it would not work from day one. I was sent to the corporate MetroPCS Store on Santa Rosa Ave. by the Mendocino Ave. store and the insurance company to have that one replaced. Tony, the man who waited on me was rude, unprofessional and condescending and called me to my face "a liar." I had the paperwork from the other store with me but he would not deal with me at all. He called the store on Mendocino Ave. and yelled at them also, telling them that I should not have been sent to him. It was horrible and humiliating. I have used MetroPCS for 10 years and this is how I get treated as a loyal customer. In the midst of the fires, I don't have a working phone. Thank you Metro. read more

About a month back I went to this girl named Edith to help me set up a phone plan and get a new phone. She helped me find and hook me up with a great price of phone plan with great costumer service, she was very nice, funny, and just all in general helpful. My boyfriend and I came back with the same problem today and lucky enough were able to get her to help us again. Not only that but she remembered us both and was again very nice, funny, and helpful. Im only giving 1 star because you can't do none!! This is the worst customer service, in person and over the phone. the first year I had my phone I had no problems then I had to change the exp date on my credit card. the manager brian at the store made me sign up for online, then proceeded to mess with my account. (changing passwords on me, changing my acct to spanish, canceling my auto pay last minute) I can go on and on. I called another store and they cant help because SR ave is a corp store. SUCH CRAP! the district manage also did nothing. now everytime I want to make a payment or update a phone they charge me even though its a FREE service, but they wont do it other wise. Metro pcs sucks disks. The store on Santa Rosa Ave. Sucks they have a security guard at the door. That should tell you something .I have metro and my phone is 6 months old and nothing but problems it shuts off and won't come back on until you take the battery out. The back light screen stays on , my battery drains to fast because of it ,i have a year warranty on my phone but they won't replace it until they can see it turn off a verify it but yet I took in and they had to remove battery to start it.Metro is all about the money and they will screw you they don't give an inch when they are in the wrong. I had an excellent experience here yesterday when I took my severely broken flip-phone in here and had to get a new phone (and also REALLY needed to have my data transferred from the old phone to the new one), and the woman working here (I believe her name was Katrina) didn't know whether she'd be able to transfer everything okay, but said she would try her hardest to do it, and she was able to do it! She was pretty awesome, and everyone working there seemed really nice and helpful--will definitely return if I need to! read more

Took my phone there today, I had expressed concern about how to properly free up space on the phone itself (not the SD card), they were nice enough.... but they proceeded to delete ALL of my email accounts, so I had to re-add each and every one, and they deleted ALL of my contacts and call logs, and they didn't back up ANYTHING...... and now they are too good to take my call on the phone. This store is terrific -- clean, well stocked, and with a truly excellent staff. Cecy was knowledgeable and efficient in setting up an account for us with two lines and phones. Through no fault of the store, we had to close our account within hours. Jimmy was kind and professional despite a glitch on the call time record on one phone. We had to return to the store a second day to address the problem, and another two employees (didn't catch their names, unfortunately) quickly completed the return. I was impressed with the service of each employee we dealt with, and their helpfulness despite the fact that we couldn't continue with their company. Highly recommend dealing with this store if you choose MetroPCS as your service provider. read more

I visited the Santa Rosa store shopping to inquire about a Galaxy II Note. Instead I came in contact with the store tech who took the time to introduce me to The LG Sririt: which I was impressed with this young mans knowledge of this product. Unfortunately his manager , C Pounds, was pressuring this young man to hurry up with the sale so he could take the Federally mandated time frame for employees to not exceed their relief period. This all caused me to be rushed thru and not receive the rebate form from Metro ($70) so that I could expedite this process smoothly when I returned home in Sacramento.. Now.... this morning I had realized that the lady I spoke to on March 19,2013 (Ruth) had not emailed me this form and I contacted this Santa Rosa store again to be told that no Ruth works there. This was told to me by the manager whom refused to identify herself by name. She later refused to send me a copy in the mail since whichever method she sent me email failed to work . She said she could not do that because it would involve some effort on her part to get a stamp and an envelope to send me the form I SHOULD HAVE NOT BE LET TO LEAVE THIS STORE WITHOUT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Just how niggardly can one be in business. I believe C Pounds has taken it to a level of retaliation towards me by this decision she has made. She was not happy the day I was there because I clearly pointed out that Federal Mandatory guidelines for employees to take a rest period are ONLY for the employers that chose to drive employees beyond that time frame. An employee that voluntarily or is on commision does not jeopardize an employers compliance to this law. I have spent well over $100 worth of business time trying to recover a $70 rebate on this phone purchase on 3/13/13. This is a failing system to succumb to , yet I am in this far so far. How unfortunate Metro PCS allows a person in an authoritative position to badger and cause angst to an average customer that has been with Metro PCS for the last 4 years. But, maybe not for long. Bought a phone for 200.00 and service last month. There service in Santa Rosa, Ca is the worst. I can't even login to Uber half the time. I went to the store to get the phone unlocked so I can go to another carrier. They told me I had to keep service for 90 days for them to unlock it or pay 40.00 to a online site. They say I own the phone but just can't go anywhere else. Just keep this in mind if you buy an expensive phone from them. Had to buy another phone thru At&t and so far service is fine. read more

Unfortunately I couldn't get an old reactivated and had to buy a whole new phone, and he was so helpful and patient while I checked that I had enough money to pay for it. DON'T GO TO THIS CRAP HOLE OF A STORE! I went in to get a case for my phone and the smell was awful. this is the second time i have visited this store and the same occurance happened, i thought i would be nice and give it another try but it was worst. The store smelt like Sh%$ and there were about 50 people waiting in line and the doors were closed. I went up to the so called "Security Gaurd" who was sitting in a chair texting on his cell phone and i said do i have to wait in line just to buy a cell phone case and he looked at me and rolled his eyes and said yup. I mean either hire some people that know what there doing or do something about it. when ever i call there they never answer there phones at all.
