Been coming here since I was 5 really don't need to say much they've helped me when I was 5 and now when I'm 22 thank you!

I would give this optometrist zero stars if I could. I was very disappointed with how the doctor treated my child during his appointment. My son was having difficulty reading the letters, and instead of being patient and understanding, the doctor acted as if he was simply not cooperating. The experience upset my son so much that he left the office crying. I will not be bringing my child back and would not recommend this doctor to other parents. I do want to mention that the front office staff was very kind and welcoming. read more

I give this location 1 star because, these two lady eye doctors are definitely not close to being in the top percentile of their class. They are very basic eye Dr's. If you have astigmatism, need readers, etc. and you want contacts, this is NOT the place to go. The short lady Dr. did my initial contact exam and, never in the 20 year history of wearing contacts, have I gotten a completely incorrect prescription. The 1st pair of contacts I couldn't even see through. I went through 4 pair with this location and neither one of the doctors could get my prescription correct. Then the owner Dr. told me if I found a brand of contacts that I liked to let her know. So, I did and, when I called to tell her lazy a**, they told me my file was labeled "Completed". This place was so terrible with their education, that I enrolled in a Humana Vision plan to go to a real eye Dr. And like I thought, the "main" Dr. got it wrong too. Two eye doctors or 1 eye doctor and her "associate", together they couldn't get a simple contact exam correct. They should be embarrassed by their lack of education. I've done so much research on contacts behind dealing with this uneducated location, it's ridiculous, but good for me. Basically, if you have IEHP these are the eye doctors you get. If you have a $15 monthly Humana plan, you get "name brand" eye doctors that actually know what they are doing. I don't recommend this location of Clear Vision Optometry at all, not for anything, not even for your kids to get glasses! Terrible experience! read more

I waited MONTHS for my daughters appointment, just to find out that they don't accept her insurance any longer. They couldn't be bothered to tell me this until I didn't go to work this evening, so I could take her to her appointment. Make sure they accept your insurance before coming here, because they sure won't. Update: the owner responded, it had not been 6 years since I was last there. My child wasn't 6 with glasses. Also, her insurance never changed. They also confirmed there were no changes to the insurance and before I even filled out a form they asked if she had Kaiser. So the rude employees knew beforehand and didn't call. read more

I love this place. The staff is professional and goes above and beyond in everything they do. For instance, Patty helped me pick out my glasses (she was well aware of the differences between certain glasses) and helped me see what deal was the best for me. She was nice and had great customer service skills.The doctor was attentive and answered all my questions. She gave me advice in regards to what contacts work best for me. Very disappointed in the staff especially the gentleman working there, we had called to see if we needed an appointment, wanted to make sure since my father is disabled and has a leg amputated it's not easy getting him places. They had told us no, so we got there my father and his care taker, my dad can walk short distance with a walker he has a prosthetic but is still learning to walk. When we got there the gentleman told him he had to wait outside standing up in the almost 100 degree sun where he barely made it from the car to there, if he had walked back to the car he wouldn't of been able to go back, so I got out of the car and told him something. He can't stand up long as you can see he's missing a leg. So he let him inside to sit only. Well when it was my dads turn they had him fill out papers my dad said that is care provider has to as he can't write he has no control of his hands almost like Parkinson's the gentleman would not let his care provider in at all to do the thing he is required to do for my father by the state of California. My dad said the vguy just kept saying this is a private business he don't have to let anyone one in. So we left! Very rude and treat disabled and elderly poorly! read more

I have been to many optometrists and Clear Vision is by far the best one I have ever been to. I have purchased two pairs of glasses and a pair of sunglasses. The service I recieved was top notch. I felt very comfortable through the whole process. Dr. Laura was super friendly and professional. The front desk folks were really nice and helped me choose my frames. Lily was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products. My first frames had a warranty issue and I brought them in and they took care of it for me right away! I drive all the way from Yorba Linda because the service is so amazing! Looking forward to getting my new glasses from Dr. Laura and Lily for 2015! read more

I've come here for 2 years just because it's the closest to me and also because I enjoy the Doctor. The frames are ok for my face type and style they aren't really edgy or different. I bought some frames that I would have loved for my new look but unfortunately the receptionist said that they would melt if they would even try to install lenses on them. Not sure if it is true or not but I went ahead and gave them my old frames that have looked good on me. The receptionist let me know that although they could use this second pair of frames that they are not liable if the frames were damaged or broken while the lenses where put on. I am still waiting to acquire my frames with the new prescription and fingers crossed I will not have any issues! The office is pretty clean, but the receptionists and others usually seem rather involved in each others conversations rather than just working or talking to potential future customers. read more

I have been going since I lived in So Cal. I still go here for my glasses, sunglasses. Whenever I'm in So Cal visiting family I always make a point stop by here to see the new selection and whenever necessary get my eyes checked. I haven't written too many reviews lately (busy with life, kids, etc.) but when I saw what seems like the unwarranted and vicious review by Erika A. I thought it would only be fair to give another side of this business, especially since it seems like she's got a hidden agenda. Come on, who offers the name of a competitor with phone number and address? Who has that handy? Even if I hated a business I would say, go to XYZ optometry instead. I wouldn't bother taking out the time to look up then enter their address and phone number. I got lots other things to do. Think about it. With that I digress. My wife wonders why I go here instead of someplace closer to home (near Seattle) but I told her these guys do a great job, have a great selection and give me a fair price. So why wouldn't I continue to do business with them? Plus, the choices at the optometry stores in Seattle seem as though they are 3-5 years behind while I see things at Clear Vision I end up seeing at the Seattle stores a year or two later. I had an exam a here with Dr. Laura about two weeks ago. I tried to walk in without an appointment and they seemed fairly busy, but the nice girl behind the desk managed to squeeze me in with only a 20min wait. Dr. Laura was very patient with me because I planning on revisiting the idea of using contacts, when I have had issues using them in the past. She introduced me to daily contact lenses which I can use and throw away at the end of each day. These contacts feel great. This was my first visit here, but it will not be the last. I highly recommend this office to any one or family, especially if you need a bilingual office that speaks both english and spanish. read more

Friendly staff, lense policy is a joke, I was jus told that my warranty to replace a pricy lense is limited to that, even though I payed an extra 120 help me drive I feel like I've been ripped off, lenses scratched too easily n they don't even wanna replace my lense with the cheaper one by request, implying to me that all my warranty does is have them cover up my scratch marks, n my lense would have to be broken to actually be replaced, some fancy insurance ripoff if I do say so myself read more

I had been looking forward to getting contacts and going through the trial process. It was the worst experience EVER!! They never know what's going on....I ordered a brand that felt better on my eyes however was told they gave me the wrong rx on them. Why they would do that I still have no answer. They probably have a contract with a certain brand because they kept trying to push one on me instead of giving me the one I asked for. When I asked, they just stared at me and said they didnt know. I had asked them to please order in my rx but of course they ordered the wrong one. I was so confused as to why my sight was so blurry and I why i would get head aches...most of my friends wear contacts and they all told me I just went to a horrible place because that was not normal. I paid 100 for the trial and I have insurance. And when I accidentally ripped one of the trial contacts and asked for another, they wanted to charge me for a trial one that clearly states should not be sold. The front staff girl that has a train wreck of a mouth is so bitter and rude. I reached out to the doctor and she did not want to hear me out. I'm usually very understanding if a mistake was made but she just made me feel like I was the problem she had no time for me and walked away. She said I'm confused, well obviously because they do not know what they are doing. Will never ever recommend or go back. read more

I brought my sunglasses that I got online and I brought them here to be shaped. I had to wait for about 5-10 minutes but no complaints it was pretty packed when I got there. They were able to shape them pretty quickly even though they were busy. They shaped them for me for freeeeeee! read more

Dr. Nguyen and staff are kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. They truly go the extra mile in everything they do. I am so pleased with their service I have purchased several pairs of glasses here and made numerous referrals. The experience you will have is so much better than mall eye glass retailers. I'm partial to Ray Bans, they didn't have the rather unique style I wanted in stock, no problem they special ordered them for me. If they don't have it, they'll get it! Also, if you are into vintage frames, say you have a pair and need the prescription filled, they'll do it for you. Not all shops are willing. The shop is simply labeled Optometry but it's right across from the Galleria at Tyler, and near the delicious Pho Ha restaurant making it easy to find. First rate Doctor. Fourth rate customer support. I was sent away with sort of blue stains on the lenses, a burr on the frame and seeping goo in the glasses case. All these problems for more than four hundred dollars? I was contacted a few days after returning to the store. They told me the frames were no longer available, but I could choose a different pair of frames. The case was exchanged and the blue stain removed from the lenses. Well, I was no longer willing to deal with these folks. I filed and polished the burr off myself. Next time I"m going somewhere else. $435 is too much for the trouble I was put through. read more
