A quick Google search brought me to DR. SADEGHIAN office at corona optometry after my previous ophthalmologist left me hanging with no results. I had been experiencing eye pain for the last 2 weeks and she wanted me to wait until she came back from her vacation to get results. After Waking up this morning with horrible eye pain, headache and pressure that wouldnt go away i decided to do a quick Google search and corona optometry popped up. I called them today around 4pm, told them my symptoms and they immediately got me within 30 mins. The office staff was super friendly, thoroughly explained all testing to me, Dr..SADEGHIAN was very patient, had professional chairside manners, has new state of the art equipment and listened to my whole ordeal that I've been dealing with for months now. He really made me feel cared for and heard! Dr. Was very thorough explaining all his findings and even showed me all the images as he was explaining everything. He gave me solid suggestions on how I can better my eye health, and made sure I left his office feeling confident that I had nothing to worry about because he double checked everything. I appreciate that he saw how anxious and concerned I was over the eye pain and even gave me a note to take to the ER in the event the pain and blurriness got worse. I appreciate that so much. It's not everyday you come across a doctor who really cares for their patients and makes them feel heard. Last year I had no issues with this office and was always satisfied with my visits. Unfortunately, this year has been a very different experience, and it seems to coincide with new staff and more aggressive sales tactics. I went in for a routine eye exam and simply asked for my prescription at the end. I did not report any problems with my current contacts. Despite this, I was encouraged to try one-day contact lenses instead. When I asked for my prescription, I was told they needed to order trial lenses for my current brand, which meant I had to come back again just to receive what I already use. When I returned for that follow-up, even though my appointment was on time, it still took about 10 minutes for someone to take me to the back. I had already clearly stated that I was not planning on purchasing contact lenses through the office so there wouldn't be any pressure, yet they still attempted to place an order at the end of my second appointment, and were reluctant to release my prescription until I firmly told them I was going to buy elsewhere. This was frustrating, especially since I'm paying for the eye exam and prescription and should not feel like it's being held back. To add to the frustration, I had a separate upcoming appointment scheduled for Monday that I canceled over the phone, yet I still received a text asking me to confirm that appointment after the fact. I didn't have a good experience here. I found the staff to be a bit pushy and they have a small selection of frames. The girl that was helping me became rude once I told her I didn't find any glasses I liked and was going to purchase them online. I was a little taken off guard to be honest. Maybe they work off of commission? I get it but just maybe be a little more understanding next time. I feel too uncomfortable to return to this place again. read more

Originally my experience was fun very easy and quick . Now I called in the morning asking for my Prescription they emailed it to me great. To get glasses I need my pupil size . They don't have it I called they don't know it . They said if you ordered from here we may have a slip with it and the size . Obviously they can't find it , it was less than a month ago and they're saying, "we don't have the slip but you can come in it's really fast and whatever whatever." Fine I come in it's not a big deal I need the size so I can order another pair of glasses . Now what equals the negative review is the girl next to the glasses sections comment when I was there talking about , " we are doing this one time, you're going to take your prescription somewhere else." Basically saying she's doing me a favor, your comment is irrelevant and unnecessary . I don't care what you gotta say over the phone YOU said come in that's, what I did . I wouldn't have to come in if YOUR business puts the pupil size on my prescription with my eye measurements . Seems pretty important if you ask me ?! So no I won't be coming back because I don't need it . And I especially won't be coming back when you guys have no frames so I have to go somewhere else to buy frames I want. My daughter needed an eye exam. I booked the appointment online and filled out an online covid survey before arrival. When I got there I was told to text them and let them know I had arrived. Then they texted me back and told me it was safe to go inside. Door was locked to avoid crowding inside the store. Everybody had a mask on and there was plenty of sanitizer around. I signed a couple consent forms on an iPad. Appointment went quickly and the dr is clearly very good with kids. There's not a huge selection of frames but we found one we liked. It will take 10-14 business days and they will call or text when our new glasses are ready. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! I called to make an appointment for my father who is a senior. I was quoted $59-$140 so I sent my dad in to check his red spot in his eye. I had told the lady over the phone he already had an eye exam and glasses done two weeks ago so that's the quote she gave me. My father was charged $180! They ripped him off! I should've just took him to Dr. Vo at Walmart where we always go but I thought I'd try this doctor since it was close to home! When I called the office they said we will give him a refund if his insurance covers it or we will apply it to his deductible! It's a SCAM. I had told them at the first appointment that his medical insurance is not going to cover the vision so how much it'll be! Again it was low balled till he went in and then they charged him $180! Worst doctor, very greedy! He just wants the money from his senior patients. Do not go to him. I would never recommend him!!!! read more

Was referred by iehp 2 yrs ago during covid. Needless to say doctor just spends 10 to 15 mins evaluating your symptoms and eye care. Never did he forward the results to my primary. Now this year a follow up was needed waited close to 3 wks for anyone to return call I lost / misplace glasses I requested a replacement iehp paid them so weeks later was called to pick up. Walked in office waited to be given glasses So they give me glasses wasn't given a choice if it fit or was it ok. Then asked if a case would be given was told an additional charge for a case After iehp paying the $300 all I got was just glasses. Won't be coming back. The staff is awful read more

Turns out, this place is a giant ripoff. I have 20/20 at distance, I just need readers. Had a prescription...just needed to have them made. First pair of frames I picked - $170. My insurance pays $75. F that. So, I go back up & picked frames that have a sticker that says $69. Perfect, right? She typed it into their computer...said they'd cost $180. Corona Optometry, Dr. Sadeghian, and staff are PHENOMENAL! I was so discouraged when I first went there because I have such bad eyes because of keratosis. We discussed my options and Scleral Lenses absolutely changed my life! Everyone in that office is so kind, helpful and takes their time to make sure you understand what's going on. I always got right in for my appointment never had to wait and yet the doctor always took his time with me and making sure I understood my new scleral lenses. Great, outstanding service! Not pushy. Clean environment. Staff gets along well. Nobody is in a battle for supremacy amongst staff and they seem to really enjoy their work from what can tell. The Doctor is down to earth, you can talk to him like a normal person, he's not too good for you like some doctors can be. He definitely a Good guy. The Doctor is not in on Thursdays (maybe just this week, idk). Not an inconvenience unless your day off is Thursday. Wife brought home 3 new pairs of glasses. She LOVES them. Will take approx 8-10 business days for them, but, we'll take it! Good place to go. Nice place. But what turned me off was how they offered me what she called a CRT. "For an extra 20$ but couldn't explain why I needed it or what it was for. The only thing that was certain was "if you want it it's an extra $20" The staff is nice but the appointment department is a joke. 10am appointment but seen at 10:30 am. Don't go here. Save your money and go somewhere else. My glasses make me see blurry but they won't exchange them or provide a refund. To top it off, my flexible spending account needs a receipt so I can get a reimbursed but the optometrist office won't give me a receipt. The front office promised me a receipt but they can't print one out or email one in over two weeks. read more

Staff constantly gives conflicting information. Made an appointment for my daughter and husband so that they could go together. They asked me to come in with my daughter so that my husband can do his exam while my daughter does her exam. Came in and due to Covid they said they wouldn't let me in. Explained to them I was told to come and got a babysitter for the other child just for this reason. They were the ones who instructed me to come in. I would not have came otherwise. And with hesitation they let me go in with my daughter. Ask for an itemized bill at the end of appointment and was told it would take to long to get it made right then and there and they'd have it ready when glasses were ready. They called me and let me know what times were available to pick up glasses mon-wed until 7pm. Came to pick up glasses, contacts and itemized bill at 6:40pm. Staff said pick up ends at 630 and they close at 7 so they can't get me an itemized bill at the moment. I explained that the reason I didn't get it the day of was because they said they didn't have time and told me it would be ready when I picked up my items. Really annoyed at this point. I doubt their hours have changed within three days of leaving me a message. And their business hours also say 7pm. Staff seemed like they just wanted to leave early and gave me a hard time. While Dr Sadeghian is extremely personal. i saw him at the beginning of January and was greeted by one of his staff telling me since it was the first of the year I needed to just pay cash and not go through my insurance at all. She argued with me for 30 minutes telling me my insurance said I would have to pay $1000 before he could see me. I paid the Bill at the time of service and they gave me a blank receipt. I had to call back to get them to give me a receipt with a billing code on it. I had to file with my insurance myself read more

Currently have been waiting for my glasses for almost 2 months . Every time I call to get an update they just tell me they will give me a call when they come in and cannot give an estimate time of arrival. - on my initial visit the office let me know that the didn't even carry the frames I wanted but could order them and that was okay with me . My insurance covered 150$ for frames and then lenses after everything I had a remaining balance of 60$ which I figured was normal . They did tell me I had an additional charge of 20$ for larger size of glasses but I didn't mind after all it was only 60$ . On the drive home I got a call saying I needed to pay an additional 20$ and I asked if I could get the Normal size and just use that to cover the charge since I didn't want to drive back . They then let me know that the large size and normal size are the same but I don't understand why they said a large size was additional cost . - I will not be returning and If my glasses don't come in the next few weeks I won't even be able to pick them up since I'll be moving out of state so overall just a waste of money and insurance read more

I went there at 11.30 am to do a reading glass which i already have a flame, so the guy told me he has only one len he has to order another one it should be finish by the end of the week. I paid 121$ and i left, 30 mins later i got a phone call that my glass already done because he got delivered the lens that they ordered last week after i left 15 mins. So I was a first time patient here and I have to say they made my experience wonderful! When I called to set up an appointment, Lidia was super sweet and extremely helpful. She answered all my questions without hesitation. Dr. Sadeghian was super nice and made me feel comfortable. I wanted to try contacts so when Raeanne taught me I felt she knew what she was doing so that didn't make me nervous trying them on. They have a huge selection on frames and I instantly found the one I liked with the help of the friendly staff as I wanted both. They failed to give me my prescription for my glasses. I was to going to buy them online but the lady who sells the glasses told me she will keep my prescription in her drawer. At beginning she was nice because she thought I was buying my glasses at their place but when I told her I wasn't interested in buying my glasses here, her mood completely changed. She said "come back later then" and then she dismissed me in a rude tone and did not give me my prescription. Now I do not know if i should pursue legal action in order to get my prescription or just cut my loss and find a different place to get my eye exams. This all happened before covid-19 passed. This place is a SCAM. They only want your money and nothing else. I came here for a contact and glasses exam and got my glasses however I tried making 2 contact fitting appointments and they had me waiting 40 minutes plus each time. Then when I try to make my third appointment I was told my prescription was never completed because I didn't come back for my contact fitting.. It hasn't been a year yet and I don't see what my contact in my eye has to do with my eye test that was completed .. This place just wants money and doesn't care about the customer, they'll try to get you do to all these different procedures, they'll try to make you get multiple eye exams in the same year, and they take forever even if you have an appointment .. You're better off going with Walmart if you want an honest optometry. read more

My experience started poorly. The receptionist is pushy and unprofessional. Amy was her name. I wad displeased to say the least. The receptionist confirmed I was there for contacts and glasses, I said no not glasses.. just contacts. I also told the optometry tech ( she was kind and appropriate btw). I then had an exam by the optometrist. He finished and kept talking about glasses. He had my prescription ready and that's when I asked if he had assessed me for contacts. He said no. I thought wow, nobody is listening to me. This in line with the fact that he kept trying to push things on me as far as his glasses recommendations. I won't be going back unless I am desperate. They will try to sell sell sell and if that means not listening to you that's what they will do. I left in a hurry and plan to go elsewhere for my contacts.
