I've been coming here for atleast 10 years and I loved the older male doctor DR Rogoway. He's retired now. I was really sad to hear the news. I've continued my business here due to his customer service and fair prices. I've learned that the place is now ran by new doctors. I went in and was looking for another contact lense. I was advised that the daily's are the best way to go. I was offered a year supply quoted at $600. After trying the trial I wasn't too impressed. I' was also shocked no other brands were offered or another option I mean for the years I've come and gave my money to this place I think I deserved options. I had to call back 3 times to get feedback from the doctor" or approval to pick my lense". Mind you I got a 4 day trial I ran out of lenses and had nothing ordered. I called back and asked for my old brand and monthly supply ones. Turns out my co pay was $14. I was so shocked the difference in prices and how these new vendors they use now with the new doctor are the way they are making deals for the new companies offered. I also have to say the staff isn't and hasn't ever been friendly or really customer service based. It's always been a cold and no smiling office. I'm big on my doctors and keep them long term. Sad to see another good one retire. Last year bringing my business here. Plus hours aren't updated they are closed sat & sun. So don't be like me and show up on Saturday and it's closed. A month ago I visited the Corona Vision Center after dealing with months of strained eyes from staring at my computer and phone even more during the pandemic. Upon my visit I was impressed with the COVID safety precautions taken, the super helpful advice and tips from Dr. Fartash, and the friendly staff! After having a quick and easy eye examination, Dr. Fartash recommended that I get glasses with blue light coating to help with my straining eyes. I picked out these beautiful Jimmy Choo glasses with the suggested blue light coating, and I can already tell the difference! My eyes no longer feel as stained and I've also been able to fall asleep easier! I can't wait to come back next year to pick out another cute pair of blue light glasses! read more

Is this the part where I'm supposed to say I normally don't right reviews? Everything about the hospitality here makes me want to get my eyes checked more often. I've worn glasses for about 10 years and made an impulsive decision to purchase some contacts. Searched up contacts on yelp, picked the first one which landed me here, and seen the same day. I was greeted within my first step in the building and was seen by the doctor in less than 5 minutes. Since I was getting contacts I had to spend a little more time for their training. They were extremely patient with demonstrating the best way to apply and remove my contacts. I was there for about an hour trying to get out a single lens and never did I feel rushed throughout the process. One of the girls there (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) sat with me and removed her own contacts several times just to give me some pointers. It was extremely helpful and gave me the strength to not call a quits and get glasses. As for my contacts, I left the building being able to see better than 20/20. Its changed EVERYTHING. Yes, they're more of an investment but the positives outweigh any negatives. It's made me not have to worry about scratching my glasses, dropping them, or whatever it is. Get contacts, and get them from here! read more

I went in for a contact lens exam with Dr. Nguyen and my experience with her was great. I highly recommend her as she was informative and took her time with me. I really felt like she had the patients best interest in mind. The reason I would never recommend Corona Vision Center was because of how I was treated after seeing Dr. Nguyen. I had called before my appointment and was told by someone on the phone that the contact lens exam and eye glass exam were both covered under my insurance leading me to believe it would be no cost to me. When I sat down with the woman who charges you out and helps you get your contacts or glasses, she told me the exam was going to be $10 and the fitting would be $60. I told her I must have misunderstood on the phone but fine, I of course will pay what I owe, however I didn't come in expecting to pay an extra $70 so I told her i'd just pay for my exam and come back to buy the contacts next pay period, since the contacts were going to be about $160 after the insurance coverage for a year supply. She then told me that she was not able to bill my insurance for just the exam, that I had to buy the contacts there in order to get the insurance to cover it, so if I did not buy contacts that day, I had to pay $100 for the exam and the contact lens fitting. The Dr herself had told me that I had no obligation to buy the contacts from them prior to me dealing with this other lady so I knew this was false. When I pressed back on this woman, she then told me not to worry, she would take care of it and only charge me the $70, basically insinuating that she was going to "pull some strings for me" and do me a favor. I immediately called my insurance company upon leaving and let them know that this place has someone working for them who is lying to customer's to force them into spending more money there. There was another woman at the front desk who heard the entire interaction and never spoke up to correct the woman so obviously this is their scam. Prior to my appointment while I was waiting in the main lobby, I overheard another lady telling the employees that at her previous visit she was overcharged and there was some type of false info about insurance so, I am sure this is what she was referring to and they had done the same thing to her. I legitimately was going to be buying my contact here, but not anymore after this and my husband will be going elsewhere for his contact appoint. So scummy and just a poor way to do business. It stinks for the doctor too who is obviously doing a good job and the front desk people are ruining the reputation of this place. read more

I just had my daughter's eye exam at this office and I had the best experience. The doctor was so patient and made the experience so fun for her. I was originally really nervous to take her in but after this experience I'm so glad I took her. The office was so clean. The staff was friendly and incredibly organized. We felt so welcomed. And even after the exam the doctor made it so fun picking out glasses for my daughter! If you need a good eye doctor and a good place to get glasses this is your office! I will be going back in 6 months for my own eye exam and taking my daughter again!!! read more

My first impression was of the updated modern look of the office (apparently it was just sold and the new owner renovated it). I also appreciated how safe and clean the office was in regard to Covid-19. I take Covid seriously and this office was more dedicated to my safety than anywhere I have recently been, prompting me to write this review. My wait time was 3 minutes, and the staff was attentive, listened to my concerns, and made me feel important the entire time. I saw Dr. Fartash and she was wonderful. The office accepted my insurance, but I also paid out of pocket because this is my vision were talking about and I've had headaches and tension for years from poorly cut lenses. Corona Vision Center has finally given me peace and this has been the best optometry experience I have ever had; hands down, without question. This office is an A+ by every possible metric, and your search should stop on a dime right here. read more

Time came for my appointment and low and behold they had no clue who I was. If they can't keep track of who they schedule they need to rethink their staff. Went here because they accepted my vision insurance, they staff was excellent helpful and courteous, i recieved my glasses and had a very bad glare i went back in and let them know, i was told it is because i got the anti glare, anti scratch but on thenot so premium lenses , and this angered me as i was not offered anything better , after all it is my eyes why would i not get the very best i could afford... so 600 dollars later i got the premium lenses and it came with a warranty for 2 years i was told it covers breaks, and scratches to the lenses , about 4 months later i scratched my lens went in and was told it only covers them being scratched 1 time and that my warranty was no long valid after the repair.... because thiswas not expressed to me upon purchasing i would and cannot recommend this place, being told i had a warranty i was sold on paying the price but upon using the warranty and being told it was only 1 time and i had no other warranty i can not recommend this place read more

I've tried with this place. I REALLY have. I think Dr. Fartash is a really great person and eye doctor. I had given them a glowing 5 star review on here and Google because she asked me to and I REALLY wanted to be happy with them because she is a great doctor. But if you don't want to sit for 30-45 minutes waiting EVERY single time you go for an appointment, I'm going to suggest you go somewhere else. I had lasik 6 months ago and have had to visit them for follow ups 5 times in the past 6 months and made an appointment last week for a red, swollen eye. So this is not just a 1 time thing for me. The last 3 times I've been they've booked 2 people at the same time the appointment prior to mine... a mom and son the first time, a husband and wife the second time, and a mom and daughter this last time.... so the next person they book (me) has to sit and wait for them to do 2 exams in the time they normally book for 1 exam. This last time, I lost my temper and I caused a pretty bad scene. Not denying it. 30 minutes after my appointment, a customer came out of the exam room, so I asked how long the wait would be because I had a meeting in 30 minutes. When they informed me it would be another 15 or 20 minutes, I was furious. And when I said it was ridiculous and they had no respect for my time and the fact I was taking off work to come, an older woman told me "it's not my..." and then stopped herself from saying it wasn't her problem. I yelled "I know it's not your problem, but it's sh*&$y customer service" she kept saying she never said that and I completely lost my s*&t and started yelling like a freaking crazy person. I told them I wanted to speak to Dr. Fartash and they kept saying no because she was with a customer. Folks, I completely made a fool out of myself yelling at them. I fully admit it. But that's how frustrated I had become after YEARS of coming to this office and feeling like my time didn't matter as much as the money in their pockets. So long story short, Dr. Fartash is a great eye doctor, but I most definitely won't be going back (even if they'd let me, haha) because I just don't have respect for businesses that run this way. read more

Love this optometry office Corona Vision Center. Dr. Fartash is an awesome Optometrist. I needed someone who I can trust and was more caring and trustworthy with my two boys vision. My kids felt very comfortable and welcoming around her. She is a mom herself so she knows how to handle kids vision. The staff are very friendly, and so patient with all the questions you may have.
