I had an appointment with Clear Choice office in Riverside and I spoke to someone name Scott he's kinda the spokes person to get the procedure started for you and also I believe he finds financing for if you need to get finance for the work. He look like he had interest in the beginning to help me but when speaking on the cost of the implants in a sense of financing, the financing was incredibly outrageous , even with good credit, they were charging me like a 20% interest rate which I thought it was crazy , It actually doubled the cost of the procedure they were planning to do to me. I did try to follow up a few times with Scott, after but then I kind of saw that he was just not interested in returning my calls. I kind of think that this clear choice they're more concerned about making money rather than helping people. I was disappointed with Scott more if anything because he didn't return my calls when I left him the last message to him. I did look for alternatives. There is alternatives, but I think if you can't return somebody's calls how can they follow up with you if they decide to do the procesure with you to help you? I'm very disappointed with Scott , For this company, it's not about helping people it's about making money. I guess that's what companies have to worry about now. read more

I started my implant process in November 2024 with Dr. Ewa at Clearchoice dental in Riverside. I am only 59 but have head and neck cancer and due to the radiation, my upper jaw was damaged significantly and not being able to produce saliva. All of my upper teeth started breaking in the roots. I have nothing but good things to say about Clearchoice. they have done everything to make this journey as comfortable as it possibly can be. Their pricing was on the lower range of all of the other quotes that I received, and their state of the art technology is beyond what I would ever expect. I am so thankful that I chose Clearchoice. Had a consultation with them for full mouth implant. After exams I was advised that it could not be done for 7 months. They took a $1000 then advised me about the 7 months. After I decided not to follow through the same day they refused to refund my money. I have since had other consultations & been advised that because of bone loss & gum disease I am not a good candidate for implant anyway. I highly recommend do your homework before you consider them. And no I was not advised the deposit was non refundable. On another note I plan to report them to BBB for unethical practices to get me approved for financing. This dental office is very deceptive. And then when I called back again, because I thought that person that I was talking to, you was not clear choice, she quoted me anywhere from $5000 to$4,000 Absolutely not.for 1 screw. BEWARE! They are not the most upstanding or honest ones in the business. Do not give them more than the MINIMUM DOWN PAYMENT! I had to cancel the procedure because of a health issue and they decided to keep $3,500 of my down payment for absolutely nothing! The minimum amount of money they will keep is $1,000. But there's a clause in the contract that gives them the right to keep as much as they want, without providing any services. I would give them a zero stars rating but Yelp won't allow it. read more

Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to in my life. As you can tell from the photos I didn't go to the dentist very often. This place has made me feel so comfortable during the whole process. So last week I had the procedure done and just like everything in my life there's always something that complicates things. They have taken their time to make sure my health was their number 1 concern. All I can say is I am EXTREMELY happy with my new teeth and smile. I haven't smiled showing teeth for over 15 years. If your experience plays out at all like mine, this is what you're in for. Use my case as an example only; I'm sure some people actually leave happy. 1 You'll go in for a consultation and be ushered into an office, where a gentleman with a concerned yet enthusiastic voice will engage you in conversation. He'll ask where you're from and what you do for a living, and before you know it he's gonna sound like you guys are friends from 20 years ago and you're just catching up on each other's lives. He's literally going to act like he's hanging on your every word, ultra interested in your life and the dental hardship you brought into the office with you. It's all an act, just so you know. You'll never speak with or encounter this gentleman again when you leave this office, regardless of whether you agree to be serviced here or not. Then comes the pricing and financing options. I came in to have a canine tooth replaced (aka long pointy tooth, or cuspid) that had basically crumbled at the gumline. Had $4000 in mind as far as what I could afford, since they do not accept any form of dental insurance whatsoever. He shakes his head "no" and comes back with $6500, because it's a prominent tooth, and prominent teeth just cost more. Cool, whatever. I'll finance it. Let's get it done. He leaves the room to consult with an actual dental prothsodontis. These are not dentists concerned for the well being and upkeep of your teeth, per say, but rather professionals who want repair the damage that's already been done. Which is admirable... until they decide that you need more teeth replaced than what you requested. This is where the up-sell comes in, just so you're prepared for it. And it's going to be obnoxious. The good doctor will come in and immediately have suggestions for more teeth that need replacing. For me it was another prominent tooth (go figure) right next to the canine that had an absess above it up in my gums. She literally told me she wouldn't service the canine with the neighboring absess there, which is understandable. Absesses can typically be taken care of by your local dentist with relative ease, but since I had a root canal done on the tooth when I was young and knew the tooth was dead and would eventually start to turn dark without an active nerve and blood flow, I figured why not. I'm in the hospitality business, thousands of people see me smile every day, and again, I can finance the effort without going hungry. The other option she was eager to offer was all-in-one upper implants, where they remove every last tooth in the upper jaw and replace them all with implants... for the low discount price of a years salary. The room got quiet, and my eyebrows contorted themselves in confusion as they both stared at me in silence. "Um, no" I immediately retorted. She had the gall to ask "Well, why wouldn't you be interested in that?" And I blurted something out that I didn't need it or ask for it, the price is insane, the uppers would no longer match the 40-year-old teeth on the bottom jaw, and to be honest it would've felt more like a horror movie having every last one of my upper adult teeth plucked out. The silence ensued for another 30 seconds, and I should've walked out right there. I mean I get it, my teeth aren't in fabulous shape but that doesn't mean I want them all yanked. I came in to get ONE replaced, not all of them. Long story short(ened), I agree to get the canine and the even more prominent incisor next to it replaced for $11,000. The financing would cost about $400/month for 2 years. I was assured that it would be quick and painless, and I'd be sporting a rejuvenated smile in no time. A $1000 deposit would be required before I left the office, to seal the deal. Non-refundable, mind you, whether you go through with it or come to your senses later. Returned to finalize paperwork a week or so later. They didn't have the right teeth to be replaced. It was corrected. But before I signed I noticed a sentence that read "BONE GRAFTING NOT REQUIRED" that had a checkmark next to it had literally been scribbled out, and the sentence below it stating "BONE GRAFTING REQUIRED" had a newly minted checkmark next to it. Using my powers of deduction I immediately knew the "quick" portion of quick and painless had gone out the window, because bone grafting takes time. Bummer. Also crunched the numbers on the financing, which was supposed to be a loan but ended up being a credit card... you know, just in case *wink-wink* you feel like you should have more work done I guess. It was $400/month but if you don't make a double payment during the next 24 months, you'd be exactly $400 short and all the interest would compile for a couple thousand dollars left to pay off at the end of 2 years. I get it. It's the American way, credit needs to be profitable, but it just seemed underhanded to me. Wow! I don't know who dropped the ball with the other review I read, but that certainly was not my experience! Perhaps that person should try again. First of all, I have not had any work done by them yet, but if everything works out, I probably will. I am doing my due diligence at the moment. I set up an appointment for a free evaluation and 3-D scan last Wednesday. I have had to pay others for this type of service. While initially you don't sit in a chair with an evaluation being done with dental instruments, they show you your scan and bone loss. It's free! They even validate parking. It is located on the 6th floor in a really nice building on University Avenue and Lime Street (with validated structure parking at 9th Street). They are definitely a class act and leave a great impression. Tierra was engaging as receptionist (she even took time to get me a soft drink), the young lady who did the scan was friendly and efficient, Rachel, the Patient Education Consultant was amazing, caring, and empathetic in guiding me through the process and giving me a tour of the facilities, and the Prosthodontist Ewa was pleasant, kind, direct, and she has great credentials. I felt confident that she has earned those credentials and has the kind of experience I want if I decide to go this route. While on the tour given by Rachel, I met a couple of others there whose names escape me ( the woman who helps you choose the implants and the gentleman who actually makes the implant dentures), whom were all highly professional and friendly. The offices are clean, high tech, and confidence building. If I decide to have Clear Choice do this work, and I can afford it (I have to run some numbers), I will have a high level of confidence that they will take care of me. If I do get implants from them, I will follow up with a post surgical evaluation. It's the Mercedes Benz of Dental Implants, and I have a Volkswagen budget at the moment, but it is MY smile and I want this done right! :^D read more

Firstly, I had high hopes after visiting this dental office. I really liked the fact that everything, including the lab facilities, was onsite. The tour that Jen gave was impressive. I got the panoramic x-ray (that was part of the free consultation) and then we went back to the finance office. This was when things got a little squirrelly, however. Jen, the finance person, suggested that instead of just getting a few implants and a bridge, I might want to consider a complete lower permanent denture! I was taken aback as you might imagine. I told her that that was not what I needed nor was it a consideration. Why would anyone have their good teeth pulled in favor of a denture! Even a good one? And why would a person unqualified to make such an evaluation even suggest it before an exam was done? After this I told her what I wanted and she gave me an estimate of $15,500 for the implants, bone graphs and bridge. Then I found out that they required a $1,000 payment up front that had to be made right there. I'd never encountered this before at any dental office (and I've been to hundreds!). This she said would be deducted from the total amount owed. Reluctantly, I paid it since their estimate was a good bit lower than the previous few I'd gotten. Then Dr Ewa Parciak came in and spoke to me for five minutes and I was asked to return the next day for the exam. Several days later Dr. Yousef performed the exam and afterwards Jen started researching credit sources. She found that Care Credit was offering me $9,000 and gave me something to sign which stated interest rates and terms for the loan. I signed it not realizing that by doing this I was transferring the credit line to Clear Choice even though it didn't state it on the form! This I only found out later when I went to another dentist who offered me a cheaper treatment plan and found out the Care Credit account was on zero! Clear Choice had taken control of it all! As it turned out I wasn't able to finance the difference ($5,000) anyway so I had no choice but to look for a cheaper option with another provider. However, with my Care Credit funds now in their pockets, along with my $1,000 deposit, they told me that they weren't sure when the credit line would be returned and also announced that the $1,000 was non-refundable! Their argument being that the consultation was free, but that it also cost a thousand dollars! Sound logical?! This was a money grab from the start and I wouldn't advise anyone to go to this office unless they are desperately in need of dentures. After this experience I don't think I'll ever trust dentists or their finance people again. read more

I went to this business for a complimentary consultation and I am very appreciative of the time and effort that was put into educating me about my options. Because of several missing teeth, I definitely need dental implants. However the majority of my teeth are still intact and functioning. I made appointments with two different places on the day that I visited this office. The first dentist that I visited had over 20 years experience and put together a treatment plan which includes implants and crowns for the teeth that have been worn down. When I told him about a co-worker that had all of her teeth removed, he immediately stated I did not need anything like that. He told me that implants are great but natural teeth are better. He was emphatic that I did not need to have all of my teeth removed. When I arrived at ClearChoice, I was told by a consultant prior to talking to the prosthodontist, that ClearChoice does nothing but dental implants (no fillings or crowns etc). After looking at my x-rays, the prosthodontist recommended removing ALL of my upper teeth and replacing them with an Arch Dental Implant. When I asked about alternatives because that seemed drastic considering most of my teeth were intact or could be "saved", she insisted that was the best course of action was just to remove them. I left the office perplexed. I can understand why both dentists gave the opinions that they did. However, the treatment plan that was presented to me at ClearChoice seemed extreme. The whole point of this particular post is not to bash ClearChoice but to let Yelp readers know that they should definitely get a second opinion (and perhaps a third or fourth etc) so that they can be completely confident before moving forward. read more

First off, I have two dental implants from Clear Choice, in Houston Texas. Had a few issues but all were taken care of and very happy with the work. This was 8 years ago. Last week, (we live in Riverside area now) went to Clear Choice in Riverside, because I broke a crown.. They gave me an xray, and recommended two inplants, and a bride crown.. Quoted me $6000 dollars. On the quote it states "Two Implants on number 13 and 15, extract two teeth, 14 and 15, plus the roots of 13. Implants on 13 and 15 and a three crown "bridge" on `13 and 15. I paid $1000 dollars and set up an appointment for July 19, to do smile assessment, and all the surgery, was then scheduled for July 27 2021. They wanted me to pay the rest of the bill on July 19 after the assessment, and I was not comfortable paying for something up front that was going to take 8 months to complete. So I called and cancelled.. After speaking with David, I then went home and read the contract again and called David to reschedule.. I had the contract in hand to make sure of all the work needed.. and David said " sorry I made a mistake on the quote.. He informed me that they were only going to do One implant, and tie into an older implant I had done, and then install the 3 crown bridge. I felt "baited and switched" only after I made the payment.. Sorry was all I received. I called and spoke with the Manager of the facility, and I received Attitude, and she informed me she was looking at the contract, and was not able to see where it said TWO implants. After I pointed it out too her, I received the same Attitude, and oh were sorry.. .They do good work but be careful of the bill... read more
