The person who followed up with our installation, Ryan, had excellent customer service. I cannot say the same for the owner, Michael. He has an extremely combative and abrasive personality. I wrote a previous review for his company and immediately received a call demanding I take it down. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable purchasing his product. He definitely has an attitude problem and needs to work on his personal skills. He clearly does not know how to deal with customers. Michael and his crew did a wonderful job from start to finish on our new home. He came to our house and brought samples of the blinds material so we would be able to see them in person and compare it to our wall colors. After we picked out the materials that we wanted for our blinds we then had a appointment with his measurement guy and took accurate measurements of all the windows we wanted to be covered. Shipment of the blinds took a few weeks, but they were worth the wait. Installation took a couple of hours and they looked gorgeous! Worse company ever. Was excited about the blinds at first but a year into it, the motor started breaking. Michael came to look at it, but was no help. He doesn't even know how his products work and just suggested changing the batteries. He was also super rude and definitely doesn't care about his customers. Still trying to get the blinds replaced months later and nothing. Called multiple times, but they have an answering service where they relay the message and calls you back but still have not received a call. Horrible- absolutely would NOT recommend. I messaged Mike on Yelp to schedule a date for an in-person estimate. After we established a date, he called me not once- but TWICE to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional, especially after double messaging me on yelp to give him a prompt response to set up a date. If I set a date with you, stick to it and don't ask me to change my plans/schedule especially if you want my business. Once he arrived, he was very awkward and unfriendly. I understand that he may not be the most social person, but as someone who is trying to sell a product and get my interest, he wasn't well-prepared at all. Didn't have information regarding questions we had. It's laughable to say that this guy has years of experience. After Mike explained the costs of everything, I asked how much it would cost to do partial screens for the house and I was mindblown at the response he gave me. He responded saying that I "should just look elsewhere if that's the case" and began walking out the gate to leave. It was extremely disrespectful and rude for him to treat and speak to me in that way. Not to mention, his quotes were outrageous! Charging $2400 when I got quotes elsewhere for close to half the price! Awful experience. Mike is so unprofessional and is a complete rip off. You'll find way better service and prices elsewhere. Here are some places that I had good experiences with: Atomic Solar Screens, Blackjack blinds, and East-West blinds. We purchased solar screens for our new house from Michael which are ok. He talked us out of ordering blinds (which we ended up ordering from another company). What I didn't like is he is a pressure sales person and acts like he is cutting you a deal. As far as I'm concerned he rushed us into the purchase by making us think the price would go up. Then he asked us not to discuss price with others. Anytime someone asks you not to discuss price with other potential customers is either screwing you or they're going to screw them. Not good! He never called after the installation to see if we liked them, hated them, or if we even got them. His techs were nice but his customer service and professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if he would be on the top of my list of recommendations. read more
