I check on yelp who has the best reviews, fast track solar and blinds came up top of my list. I called the company for a quote, Clark response immediately, set up the same day appt, I was surprise with his estimate that I agreed instantly. We set up a installation in 14 business day but it falls on the week of our vacation, so we scheduled it a week later, while on my vacation, Clark called he could do the installation even though we are not home. I trusted Clark, he sent me photos when is done, they were perfect. Clark is honest friendly funny, down to earth. We came home a few days later, we were in amaze how perfectly done. My husband searched for companies and had 4 in mind that he reached out to. He called 2 and emailed 1. The emailed one never responded and the 2nd caller seemed knowledgeable or so I thought but since I didn't know him from Adam I still was questioning what he was dishing out. We were considering him so while on the phone, I texted myself notes of what he said and thought to ask the 1st caller aka Clark to see if what he was saying was true since the 2nd caller didn't want to come out to the property and take pictures- why not I asked. He said, its so much easier for you to take the photos, send to me ie text and I'll zoom in and get measurements approximately and then come up with a quote. (insert: SMH) I said to my husband, that doesn't sound like a man who wants to stay in business for a long time and/or he's lazy; probably both. He said, he's been doing this for 20-years and in business 5-years with him and another guy (current job). That right there made me question on whether or not this was a company that was going to do a good job or was going to rip us off-- I questioned his morals. All in all, I took what he said and thankfully Clark responded, but I was skeptical especially from the 2nd guy (explained above) so, I asked all my questions and then some and iClark explained things and at times gave examples. He was a good sport for being put through the ringer... so, my husband jumped on the wagon and a deal was made. (the skies opened up that afternoon). Clark is someone who is very thorough and detailed oriented and I can 100% appreciate that as you know nothing is missed and if something is one of us is going to remember for the other plus, my husband was right there to ask follow up questions so that we all were on the same page. We then proceeded to set up the initial appointment to have Clark and his fast crew come out and take measurements and answer more questions and talk screen color, etc. It was a long day for all involved but with an expense of this and benefit in the long run, we need to make sure our bases are covered. Fast Track Solar is the kind of business I would like to see more of in this town. Independently owned, reliable, provides exceptional customer service, at great prices. Clark (the owner) is super friendly, works very hard to provide a fantastic product he stands by & is always concerned about the complete satisfaction of the customer. We recently purchased Roman shades but this was our third order from Clark. We had exterior solar screens placed on a prior house. Had blinds placed in our new house. Then most recently had linen Roman shades installed that I am just ecstatic about. I had seen other versions of Roman shades where the material layer & backing are sewn together but Clark got us 2 separate roll ups which I really like. The back layer closed provides the black out & blocks the sun completely while the front linen layer lets some light in & provides a nice decorative aspect. The shades fit perfectly within the windows. I had received another quote from a national blind company & the price difference was too great, there was no competition. It took a little time for the custom order materials but once the order was in, Clark contacted me to set up an appointment at my convenience & the install was quick. I never write a review and quite frankly I postponed this one because of that. However, it would be wrong for me not to given the great total encounter I had with Clark a review. I listed the reasons below. 1. Clark is a great guy. He explained everything and even did a little demonstration with a blow dryer to see the effectiveness of the solar screen. Great customer service throughout. 2. Timely. We only had to wait about 12 days for the screens to be completed since they have to be custom to your home. 3. Great quality and finish. Man they look good! My house is only a few years old, but when he installed the screens it just made my house look brand new! That was an added bonus. 3. Excellent installation. Quick and painless. I also noticed he does his different than other companies. He has the screen fitted not like your standard bug screen, but on the outside of the frame. So it gives an extra cushion to keep the heat out. I had 18 windows and it was done within 2 hours. 4. Top notch customer service. As I mentioned before Clark is a great guy. Will talk for days, but still pleasant. But what put him over the top, is when a week or so after installation I had a problem with one screen. Not knowing any better I was grilling near my screen and the intense heat from my grill bent my metal screen. I texted Clark and he came out the next day and it was fixed at no charge. 5. Best price! I got a quote from 3 total solar screens companies. One was $3000, the other $2700, and Clark $1900! At first I was skeptical but I did my research online and saw how I could even do it myself and save dramatically, but I'm lazy and justified Clark's lower price at being right because it is relatively inexpensive to do. Finally. I had the solar screens installed in August and they still look good. I told Clark back then that I would write a review and didn't, but I felt bad because I had such a pleasant experience and companies should be recognized for their hard work. read more

I received three estimates and decided to go with Fast Track Solar for my screens on the window and french doors. Fast Track Solar was not the lowest estimate but I was impressed with Clark the owner of the company. He was my first estimate to come into my home and give me a very detailed course on solar screens. He took his time to explain from A to Z the mesh grading, the whys on what is needed and what is not needed. So when the next two estimators visited my home, I was armed with questions that could not be answered or were not as detailed as Clark. Clark and his asistant was very thorough in cleaning and intalling the solar screens. The biggest problem I had was how to go about shading my french doors, and Clark came up with custom sliders for both doors at a reasonable price that worked wonderfully. I highly recommend Fast Track Solar for their work and work ethics. Clark is very personable, When he could not answer my questions right then and there, he would research and quickly get back to me with recommendations.
