I was on a meeting with my boss, but he was able to hear the guy pounding on the door and told me to go ahead and answer it. I asked for his solicitation permit and he mumbled something about his manager having one and I informed him that in Indian Trail you are required to carry the permit with you when soliciting. I also let him know that even if I were in the market for new pest control that just from the way he started our interaction I'd never go with aptive.
