Food: I seriously love everything about this place. The pastries are always so fresh and you can taste it the second you take a bite. Flaky, buttery, not too sweet, just done right. I don't know how Clementine came across my timeline, but I'm glad it did. I've been watching their social media page for a couple weeks. I visited them early on a Saturday morning and they were already people coming in and out of the bakery with bags full of goods. It's hard to pick, but I love peanut butter. I ordered a peanut butter cookie & a PB&J pastry- made with Concord grapes! I've never seen anything like it and that's why I wanted to have it. Both items were delicious. I will return. They have pretty good customer service. There is meter parking on the street and construction in the area when I visited. read more

Clementine's is an absolute gem!! It is dangerous living so close by now because I just want to go and try everything!! (I most likely will soon). I don't often venture out to Mt Clemens but this is a place that always showed up near the top for bakery searches. I got there early and they had pretty much everything available. It was my first time there and the folks there helped me with a few suggestions. The place itself is pretty big, very colorful and very clean. The appearance of everything was aesthetically pleasing; the whole eat with your eyes was most definitely a priority for this place. I thought everything was good, I just can't say it was outstanding. I will most definitely go back but I think after reading all the other reviews, my expectations were unfairly sky high. read more

(And also the reason I exercise ) One of my absolute favorite bakeries for it's charming atmosphere, super down-to-earth staff that's always greeting you with a smile, and, of course, their delectable treats!! Such a cute bakery! They just had a write up in The Macomb Daily as they have been contracted by Ford Field for treats for suite holders during Lions games so you know they are good. Had to go try them out and glad I did. Everything looked delicious! Chef/baker owned and it shows. Had a yummy cinnamon roll iced with a slightly lemony icing and a great cup of coffee. There are a few tables so you can eat -in plus there is a bench area that would be perfect for selfies with a pink Christmas tree. They also offer products for sale to help other small businesses in the community. FYI- you can subscribe to a special monthly pastry not even available to the general public. read more

All I had was the chocolate croissant, and it was delicious! I have eaten croissants in Paris, Nice, Venice and Rome: this croissant is one of the tastiest I have ever had. I've had my eye on this place for awhile... watching its rating rise & rise & gleefully & gratefully finally getting to visit last week on my break from school! Ok... THIS PLACE IS a perfect example in my mind of when WHAT happens when someone who LVES WHAT they do & it SHOWS! From the second I stepped in I was smitten! It's gorgeous & charming & funny & sweet & clean!!!!! The decor is so thought out and adorable! The pastry's were just lovely to even look at!!!! Truly a pastry heaven...lol! We tried the ham& Swiss pastry, feta spinach pastry, a cinnamon roll & a pistachio eclair! It was all delectable! They have some trinkets & treasures for sale at very sweet prices We all each had a coffee & that was our only complaint... it does not match the quality of the atmosphere or the pastry's! I stopped in because of the rave reviews. The interior was cute and the staff was friendly. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a Biscoff macaron. The chocolate croissant was decent, albeit a little tough, but not anything that I haven't had before. However, I was amazed that the Biscoff macaron filling tasted like nothing at all. I was left with a mouthful of white sugar from the meringue cookie. For what I received at $8 plus tax, I can't justify making a return trip. As another reviewer mentioned, the overwhelmingly positive reviews gave me unfairly high expectations of this bakery. read more

Literally everything here is delicious, it's dangerous. Try it all! My personal favorite are the macaroons, the flavchange all the time and are very unique. The pumpkin cheesecake one in the fall is insanely good. They also have adorable little gifts and such. It's so bad for my waistline how close this place is to my work. read more

We absolutely LOVE this gem. My favorite is the spinach and feta croissant. My daughter is obsessed with their bars and macrons. My husband loves anything chocolate and peanut butter. Another must try is their cinnamon rolls. To die for. I'm a Clem kid and it makes me so happy to see the city I grew up in coming back to life with additions like Clementine's! Hands down the best bear claws you'll ever have. So light and fluffy without being too sweet. The staff are all super friendly and get your orders going quickly. They make everything fresh each day and they always have different pastries, tarts, cookies and bars. The shop is in a great location and you can watch the pastry chefs work! Oh, the cannolis are also amazing! The City of Mount Clemens is lucky Clementine's Pastries chose to open there. read more

This is a 2.5 star review. I've been wanting to try this place for a while so I stopped in yesterday. I ordered 4 small cupcakes and 4 macarons which totaled over $24. I was kind of put off by the high prices but figured maybe they made up for it with quality but I was wrong. The macarons were good but nothing out of the ordinary but the cupcakes were actually awful. I had a strawberry cupcake with raspberry frosting. For $3 each you'd expect a slightly larger cupcake but this was smaller than your average cupcake you bake at home with a store bought mix and didn't taste half as good. The edges that weren't covered in frosting were tough, dry and chewy. It had the texture of a jiffy corn muffin and sort of tasted like one with the addition of strawberry. The frosting was ok but kind of gritty. This was the worst cupcake I've ever had. I threw half in the garbage. Maybe I ordered the wrong things and have to give it another try but if I want a cupcake I'll go over to Red Velvet. read more
