I don't have took much to say about this place; I came here looking for some fresh sourdough bread and I definitely found it. They have a European white and the multigrain versions of it. It's such a dense beautiful piece of bread. They will gladly slice it for you, the service is very genuine. I also tried the pizza bread and that sucker is dangerous. An awesome Bakery that freshly Mills their flour everyday to make breads and pastries. Fresh milling allows all 40 of 44 needed daily nutrients to be available for our bodies to thrive and to heal. The bread at the store is DEAD, the wheat germ and bran have been removed so it can stay on the shelf for weeks with no mold or spoilage, it's all about profit. These loaves are a bit more expensive, $6-$8.00/loaf, but they have life changing nutrients. We need to EAT our daily bread not feel guilty about it. Also doesn't spike blood sugars due to the natural fiber content, BRAN, which slows down digestion, also keeps you satisfied hours longer, I no longer crave sugar like before I used this bread. Really happy to have stumbled upon this place. The bread and scones are all fresh baked in house and are delicious. What really got me excited was the fact that they sell sabbath coffee. Sabbath is one of my favorite local roasters, I frequently make the drive from Macomb to Clawson just to grab a few bags of whole bean coffee. I buy chocolate peanut butter red white and blue my favorites. Today I decided last minute to buy a bread called Dakota bread for $6.99. The price of bread maybe high? But their ingredients are healthy low carb and specially made throughout the day or early morning hours. When you have that craving, GREAT.. grab it and go and don't look at the price I SAY. This bakery has so much yummy bread and other carbalicious items throughout the store. It smelled amazing in here! It was a combination of all the fresh baked goodies and coffee brewing. Free coffee and free bread samples- wow! This place really caters to its customers! If your into fresh baked breads, rolls, muffins and the like, this place is a must check out. The employees are super friendly too. They are closed Sundays and Mondays. The prices of their items are kinda on the high side. But the time, effort and quality put into their fresh made products are worth the price. Stopped in today to pick up a basket and was blown away by the service I received. I was a little overwhelmed by the options and the staff helped me create an amazing basket with a variety of treats! The staff here truly went over and beyond by adding extra items to give the basket a full look, offering plenty of samples to try, a sympathy card for me to sign to be attached to the basket, and a bottle of water when I had a coughing fit, and the owner even carried the basket to my car since I had my baby in my arms. This is only my second time here but I think I will now be a regular...great product, great people! I recommend their baskets for all occasions, such a cute unique gift. read more

They don't label their bread correctly. The bagged cinnamon bread only listed wheat and eggs as allergens, but upon questioning the counter person, the cinnamon chips contain dairy. When I expressed how dangerous that was for people with dairy allergies, the woman couldn't care less. I'm just thankful I asked instead of trusting the label. We LOVE the bread. It's very fresh and keeps about a week on the counter. Well, it would last that long if we didn't eat it so fast. Our favorites are the asiago and Barry Blast which is stuffed full of blueberries, cranberries, cherries and more. It is phenomenal toasted with peanut butter! We also love their new potato chive bread. We cannot recommend them highly enough! They're at the Rochester farmer's market every Saturday too. read more

Since they have changed hands for 2019 the selection has decreased dramatically and the quality of the scones isn't there anymore.

Everything here is good, from the Blondie bars in the fridge to the samples of fresh muffins and scones out on the table. The staff is always nice, and they produce great work. I personally recommend the rasberry scone, or if you have a sweet tooth, the Blondie bars (mentioned earlier). This place is great!! read more

The new owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet and every single thing I have tried is absolutely amazing - BEST SCONES EVER! The thing I appreciate most is that the old owners were putting so much more sugar in their protein bars then was said to be in there- the new owners have made the bars healthier and followed the recipe that was actually supposed to be followed and they still taste good- they may taste different people are saying but I personally would rather them taste different and actually be eating a healthy protein bar instead of thinking it's healthy when it's not. read more

I'd been wondering about this place for a while because it is in the same plaza as my gym and annoyingly has 4 parking spots in the first 2 rows designated for its customers. Most of the time only 1 parking spot is filled which forces everyone going to the gym to have to park further back (you'd think that the people going in to buy all of these carbs would benefit from walking a few extra feet from the parking lot into the store, but that's another story entirely). The store is clean, however they do have a table out with samples of bread, muffins, and brownies which are not covered by anything and that kind of made me a little leery (I mean, even buffets have sneeze guards). I spotted a coffee maker in one corner of the store, so it looks like you can hang out in the store for a bit and sip on some coffee and eat your purchase. In addition to bread products, the store also carries jams and butters (under $5 per bottle). The muffins are a decent size and only cost $1.75. The employee who helped me was polite but kind of flat in her affect. I had the apple crumb muffin. It was good...nothing spectacular. I did appreciate the fact that there were apple pieces on the inside of the muffin and not just in the muffin top. read more

I went to pick it up and they took my ordered bread to the local farmers market and sold it. The reasoning..... We didn't know.... Seriously?!?! I just ordered 3 loafs a month ago, went there this past Saturday to make sure they had my order, which they showed me my order ticket. Just went there 30 mins ago and they didn't make the bread.... They didn't have the ingredients! That was their excuse! NO INGREDIENTS!!! Seriously?!?!?! They offered nothing to fix the problem nor did they offer a free loaf of bread or ANYTHING!!! All they said was "sorry for the mix up" I even asked them if I can pick it up tomorrow.... Their answer..." The manager doesn't have time to get the ingredients" THEY HAD A MONTH!!! The protein bars and granola are exceptional...Mocha and Peanut Butter protein bars are the best (IMO). They are much more handy to carry and eat when on a long run or when cycling (very little water is required to digest them) when compared to other popular products on the market.
