Was there on 4/6/25 around 1ish. My wife and I ordered the gyro plate (2), fries (1), a happy camper IPA (1) and baklava (1). It was $39. Not impressed with that price. The customers before us were given a number post (used for identifying orders when seated at tables) and receipt after paying. I paid with cash and got none. I sat down with the wife and was wondering why I didn't get a number post or receipt so i went back to the counter to request one. I was not given a number post. I then asked for my receipt. The counter person asked me if I paid with cash and told me that they don't give out receipts for such orders. I told him that was no excuse. He then accused me of being rude. This person is not a customer person. I bit my tongue because I didn't want my food spit on and went back to our table. The food finally arrives. The fries are good. Wife said the baklava was good. The gyros were terrible. Meat was bland and tasteless. I got 7 (count them) small diced tomatoes on my gyro, no onions and a small drizzle of tzatziki sauce. I have eaten many gyros from all over and this was the worst rendition of a gyro I have ever seen. My wife readily agrees. I can't believe people who have left reviews saying this gyro was good. They obviously have never had a good one! Not worth the visit unless you want treated by employees with a bad attitude. read more

Not sure how you can mess up this kind of food... but one of the worst meals ever. The chicken was full of fat, etc - disturbing. The gyro meat was almost raw, with a taste of sawdust. On top of it all, the restaurant was a cool 60ºF or so - guess cutting back on the heating bill. -- Going around the corner to the Burger King would get you a tastier meal - and probably safer. read more

The only thing I eat here is greek salad with gyros on top, basically because I only go there when that's what I'm hungry for. But they so have a wide and Appealing menu. Low on ambiance but I love the salad, which I also sometimes get as takeout from their place downtown. read more

This place has pretty good Greek food. It has a sort of "fast casual" approach where you order at the counter. The service was friendly and exceptionally fast - I ordered take out, and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I ordered the Cleopatra plate, which has stewed chicken and lamb gyro covered in tzatziki sauce, rice, pita with choice of hummus or baba ganoush, and a small greek salad. The greek salad was great - very lemmony and with rich, creamy feta. The rice was OK (nothing to write home about) and the hummus was good. The lamb gyro was excellent, and I will get it again the next time I return. The chicken however wasn't my favorite, in fact I found it rather bland and dry. read more

Perfect place to grab a bite! I was unsure of what to order and was gladly given a suggestion by the hostess which ended up being what I ordered. The staff was friendly and helpful, while not being overly involved. We ordered and our food came out in less than 10 minutes! I ordered the Moses plate which came with lamb kebab, hummus, pita, falafel, and a Greek salad, all of which were prepared perfectly! The lamb was tender and very flavorful, the hummus smooth, the falafel crispy yet not dry, and the salad was fresh and complimentary. We ordered the King Tut plate, the Cleopatra plate, Egyptian moussaka, tabouleh and baklava. We wanted to try a little of everything. FINALLY! This is the gyro place we've been looking for in Santa Fe! For the price, we love the portion of meat you get. Usually places try to trick you and stuff it with more fixings but we love that the gyro is spilling out meat, which is how it should be! I wish I had ordered extra tzatziki sauce because my gyro needed a bit more for my liking. Also the fries were delicious because who doesn't loved seasoned wedge fries? The dolmas were good and tasted fresh but I wish they were stuffed just a bit more. We will definitely be ordering again from here soon and can't wait to try some baklava next time! read more

Pretty solidly a three star joint. I was in Santa Fe for work and kind worn on the Mexican cuisine so used my handy dandy Yelp app to guide me here. I ordered myself some hummus and a chicken gyro - to go. I got back to work and opened up the hummus box - only to find no pita bread. Ugh! I ended up using some of the gyro to eat it - pretty tasty and perfect consistency. Definitely not pleased about the missing pita though. The gyro was OK - huge and filling - but lacked very well spiced meat. The sauce kind of made up for that, as well as the hummus I tossed in there rounded it out to a satisfying meal. I love Cleopatra's, it's a quick place to go for lunch with large portion sizes. I always get a plate of some sort with a combination of items. A decent Mediterranean food at a good value... especially for Santa Fe! The outside entrance is not very welcoming, like a strip mall with darkened windows. We've passed by before and could not tell it was open. But, the inside is surprisingly nice and large loft-like space with high ceilings and some interesting artwork. As others have Yelped, it does sort of remind me of higher-end food-court experience but with better artwork and furnishings. And while we've had better Mediterranean food, overall it was pretty good... * Hummus - respectable flavor and texture. * Tabbouleh - a bit dry, but as a side-salad is was OK. * Dolmas - again a bit dry and basic, but they worked. * Green Salad - basic, but fresh and a large portion. * Egyptian Falafel - due to use Fava beans, it was very different from traditional chick pea Falafal. I liked it, but my partner wasn't so keen on the flavor. * Chicken meat - not our favorite. It was stewed in a very odd tangy sauce (should have listened to the order taker at the counter who was also not a fan.) * Gyros - meat was VERY good (and cut off the spit), but the sandwich was short on Tzatziki sauce and super skimpy on tomatoes. We would have asked for more, but at that moment of discovery the counter was swamped customers waiting to order. Other than that, it was a good plate of food.
