DUDE WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS PROBABLY THE BEST PIERCING EXPERIENCE I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR, I MEAN THAT. I got double and triple piercings done on both ears, and I had gotten my first one messed up by a piercer a few years ago, so Star (literally the coolest person I've ever met) checked the symmetry of my face and made sure that the alignment of each of the piercings matched the shape of my ear and the spacing was even in relation to my past piercings. When we first got there we were greeted and were led to chairs where we sat to fill out the preliminary forms which detailed all the information we needed about the services we would be having done in a straightforward way that was so efficient it only took a few minutes to fly through it. We were asked if we wanted coffee and got to chill while the station was prepped. The vibe was very modern with nice lighting which wasn't too florescent so it didn't feel like a doctors office and instead was inviting to help calm ay nerves, and the place just felt CLEAN. When igot the piercings done I was led into a separate room where they had a reclining chair to sit in, and sanitation was taken very seriously. Star talked me through everything that was going to happen, and made it so that it was a stable and relaxing environment which made the piercing process go much smoother than i have seen at other places. Not to mention that the jewelry is included in the price for the piercing and it is hypoallergenic and something like could probably wear for years in the future. She gave me a clear run down of aftercare and the do's and don'ts of taking care of piercings which was so thorough I didn't even have any questions afterwards. AND ITS CUTE TOO like what I got was stunning and can go with literally any outfit I wanted to pair it with. I fully understand why this place has such high ratings and given I go to UC Berkeley and live in the area, this is now going to be my go-to place. 100/10 recommend. read more

I had such a great experience at Cleopatra's! I called ahead to see if they did anti-eyebrow piercings, and they did. I'd been wanting this piercing for a while and did a lot of research before finally going for it. My friend came with me, and the first thing I noticed when we walked in was how clean and organized the place was. I also went in pretty close to closing, so I didn't have to wait long at all. Diana was my piercer and she was amazing. Super sweet, really patient, and she was happy to talk about her experience when my friend asked. She even let my friend record the whole piercing, which was really cool. She marked the spot on my face and let me check it in the mirror. I loved the placement!! The piercing itself was so quick and honestly not painful at all, maybe a 2/10 on the pain scale. Diana explained everything she was doing and gave me great aftercare tips. She even gave me a 30% off coupon for my next piercing, which was super nice. Later that night I accidentally unscrewed the flat on my piercing while cleaning it. I tried fixing it for like 30 minutes with no luck, so I messaged Diana on Instagram. She actually answered (late at night!) and helped me fix it. I was so impressed. Overall, 11/10 experience. Got my daith piercing here. Star was my piecer. She was so nice and answered all my questions. From the front desk to my piercer, good experience. Standard pricing. Only con is I wish they had more jewelry options, but Star was so nice I decided to move forward with it. The five stars was for my piercer, but because of the lack of jewelry options - I'd rate it 4/5. For the large space and atmosphere they've created, you'd really think they'd want to be competitive in all regards. I did almost want to go to Zebra because they have way more jewelry options. Tattoos: I don't have tattoos, but my brother does. He went for their free consult & while I don't want to knock an artist's worth, we both were shocked with the quoted priced... I have nothing but good things to say about this business. They are very accommodating and would never dismiss you if you have a budget. They would go out of their way to work with your resources. I should know, I have dealt with them twice (first one i just accompanied my bro in law) and it always was a pleasure. Look for Alex, he will hook you up. Place is obviously nice, just be cognizant of the 2hour parking in the area so you won't get a ticket (but that's out of their control). I got my nipples pierced by Star and she did such a great job!! I can't stop looking at how cute they look. She made sure that I was comfortable by making sure the placement was precise and was so comforting when I started to get nervous about the pain. She assured me that I could do it! I would definitely recommend getting pierced by Star for any piercings! She is so kind professional and has an amazing personality. The piercing pain was not too bad probably a 6/10 and right after I was done with the first she let me take a break and drink water before going into the next. Went in for a birthday tattoo. I love my custom peacock feather forearm piece. Even my dad appreciated the detailing and technique used to give the depth and clean lines for each plume. I went in on a Monday, so a chill afternoon, not too crazy and relaxing. Worth the price, and loved that I was able to go in for the consultation before committing to my piece. Will have to go back to get the rest of my sleeve completed overtime. Bonus: I range in medium to dark skin tone, and my artist was able to make white ink complement my piece. My experience was great. At first I was worried because of the price but the artwork speaks for the price. The two ladies who worked on the tattoo design made sure my vision was brought to life exactly how I wanted it. The artist was incredibly patient and took the time to make sure the cover-up turned out the way I envisioned. She paid close attention to every detail and made sure every part of the old design was fully covered. So I got my septum piercing on August 11 but two weeks later a caught a small cold. My nose was running so I was fidgeting/ cleaning my piercing a lot and my ball fell off. I panicked but went over the next morning and they gave me a new ball free of charge. Took less then a minute and the pain from the piercings fades after 2 - 3 days depending on your pain level. I haven't had any issues besides this, the people at Cleopatra Ink are amazing. read more

The studio is luxurious, I've been offered water each time I've come in, and both artists are extremely friendly and professional. All surfaces are cleaned and sterilized between each customer.
