The shop is extremely small and tight, but the ladies here do a good job. At times, their vibe could be interpreted as unfriendly, especially if you've never interacted with them, but don't take their curtness for rudeness. In no way does it look like their intention to be unfriendly, but it's just the way they operate - quick and to the point. In addition, they don't speak fluent English, so sometimes things can get lost in translation. If you DO need any type of alterations or clothing fixes, all you have to do is walk in, present to them what you need done and they'll take a look at it on the spot and let you know if it can or cannot be done. If whatever you need can be done, they'll fill out a receipt for you with the date you came in, what the work is and how much it might cost. When your clothing is ready, they'll give you a call and you can come in to pick it up. It's that easy or at least those were the experiences I had and each time was a replica of the previous. In addition, the pricing for their work was very reasonable as I called up a few tailoring shops for a quote and Sanita's always came out as the lowest or equivalent.

When I pointed out their error, they acknowledged their poor work and made the hem straight. However, why would they make alterations be visible and make a straight in the middle of the dress??? They changed the look of the dress and made it look cheap . Stessi Alterations work was poor and very pricy! Definitely would not recommend this place. Stay away!!!!

I worked with Chrissie to create my dream wedding outfit, and she delivered something that was truly better than I could have imagined. I felt so beautiful and had so much fun wearing it! I got so many compliments from friends and family, and I felt truly like myself. I came to Chrissie with a pretty clear vision of the overall look I wanted to achieve, but with many unresolved details. Chrissie started by creating detailed sketches that pulled together my wishlist into something beautiful and unified. She created a muslin "draft" of the outfit first, and in a session in her studio she built out the garment on my body while we talked through different decisions. She even made the pant legs in two different styles, so I could decide which direction to take! She also pulled fabric samples and found the perfect colors and lace patterns. She even met with me at a fabric store so that we could look at and buy the cloth together. The process of building the outfit in the satin/silk happened across a few sessions, and Chrissie made sure to get every detail just right. Throughout the process, Chrissie was a joy to work with. She made the process so fun and put me at ease. She was always attentive and listened to my questions and ideas, and helped shape my ideas into something beautiful and real. She arrived at my home on time, and I was immediately struck by how friendly, upbeat and body-positive she is. What began as a simple pinning/tailoring appointment ended up being a whole-wardrobe consultancy, and Katie was patient, attentive and took her time to talk to me about clothes, fitting and dressing to feel good. The bottom line - Katie wants people to feel good in their clothes. I'm a plus sized girl who wears menswear, I carry all my weight around my waist and it's difficult to find clothes that fit all over my body as the proportions are frequently too big in some spots and too tight in others.
