I have come here in the past and had wonderful service. Now, NO I have not had any of the same service I had before. I do not know why the waiters and/or waitresses do NOT care at all about anyone there but for people who drink on the bar side and even some have to go up the the front to even get another beer. I have not yet come back since me and my mother went last time like 2 months ago because of how long it took to get our food and drinks! So when I went to this place to celebrate some of my birthday and watch the NC State vs. Duke game, last month, I was a bit shocked. I thought I would see more people there. We hung out in the bar area at a high table and we were pleasantly waited on. We were never wanting of service. Even at one point when my husband spilled a beer, they were pretty much right there to help clean up the spill. Then of course when NC State was losing bad, I decided to play pool! I came with high expectations based on everybody's recommendations. My wife and I were so disappointed with the food quality. No problems with the beer selection. But we also came with an appetite. Fried pickles were undercooked and lacked any real flavor. My wife ordered a black and blue salad with blue cheese dressing. It came with ranch dressing. We even told the waitress and she didn't correct the issue until we asked for a to go box and the blue cheese dressing she requested. I ordered a small Caesar salad and the steak ribeye medium rare with a baked potato. The waitress and asked me twice how I wanted my steak cooked. The Caesar salad was served on the same plane as the steak and potato and was not properly dressed. Baked potato was on the verge of being under cooked as well. The steak actually had good flavor, but I had to cut through more fat than I felt a ribeye should have. I'm looking for a good marbling and I revised egg not half inch of fat on the edge. Great place to go and hang out on a week night and have some beers. Wait staff is always very polite and attentive. Food is great. One of those places where I'm not scared to try different things because everything is cooked to perfection. Also they are very accommodating to special requests and will try to make it work for you. Come to this place for lunch where you will consistently find good food and free pool during the day. It's literally around the corner from where I work so we go at least twice per week. The ribs are among the best I've ever had and you can try them on the $5.99 lunch menu or go on Tuesdays for the full rack (2 slabs) for $12.99. I've come in the evening on a couple of occasions and is more of a bar scene and a wait to get a pool table which is great if that's what your after. My buddy says that gives him more time to drink! Arrived late at a local hotel and looking for a quick bite. Got mozzarella sticks and Draft House Sampler, very tasty and so much great choices at great prices. The Cleveland Draft House is standard sports pub fare at about the price you'd expect. It's a decent place to grab a burger and fries in the area, and they have a pretty good selection of beers. The free music on the weekends is a small plus that keeps people ordering beers. This joint's not my favorite, but I have no real complaints. Eat here often & the food is generally fine. However, just some of the waitstaff could be better. We've been waited on 2 or 3 times by a lady whose name starts with a J and she's yet to be happy, quick, or on the ball with refills, clearing plates, bringing the check, smiling, courtesy & etc. Would go into detail, but I won't because, I do enjoy the food overall. However, as someone who has worked in the industry, frequents restaurants, & believes in taking care of servers this one person really may be in the wrong field and some of the others could be more professional. Some of the hostess could greet customers with a smile & professionalism too and talk less to each other. Great Southwestern Tuna, pasta salad, fries, clubs, and more! Local place, local owners! Have visited several times and never really thought it was that great. The other night we took my wife's mother there for supper. They both ordered the fried shrimp and I ordered the meatloaf platter. Twenty minutes later our server drops by and tells us that our order should be out soon, that the 2 shrimp dinners were sitting in the window and they were just waiting on my meatloaf to be ready. Not a good sign. The plates finally arrived and the shrimp dinners were actually still hot (let's hear it for good heat lamps). When I took a bite of my meatloaf, which was what held the meal up, it was ice cold in the center. While they did offer to prepare me another HOT order I declined and just ate the veggies because I didn't REALLY want to wait another 20 minutes for my meal. They did take the cost of my meal off the ticket but I doubt I will be going back. read more

Took my husband and my father-in-law here with my 7 mth old. It was slighty darker inside than I was expecting but the waitress and hostess were both nice. They were busy but were prompt and courteous. She brought our drinks quickly and our food, once we ordered, just as quick. Country fried steak tastes like Cracker Barrel's; pretty good. Pork chop with gravy was good as well (just don't expect it to be the fork-tender country porkchop simmered slowly in gravy). We have been here many times. Everytime I wonder why we go back! The food is decent, great selection of beers. There downfall is the service. The staff acts as if you are annoying them. Drinks are always empty. In the past 10 times we have been here, we have had 1 outstanding waitress. One experience especially stood out when we waited 30 minutes just to pay! I ended up flagging down the owner/manager (?) and told him all we wanted to do was pay. His response "we have been so busy tonight and are out of wings." Ive been here 5 or 6 times now, each time with a different crew of people. Every time I have left satisfied. I've ordered from all over the menu and have been especially pleased with the burgers and the wings. The wings are super vinergar-y, which is a definite plus in my book. The burgers are never quite cooked at the temperature you ask for them, but they're always juicy. My girlfriend tells me the wraps are great too, but that's not really my thing so I cannot speak from personal experience there. Im not a beer drinker either but I can't help but be impressed by the selection. Some of those beers are alcohol dense for the money too. There is a critical flaw to this place though. They are slow. So so slow. I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I think this is just the reality of things. Every single time I come to this place the service is absolutely horrible! Yet I keep coming back to "give another chance" and get the same HORRIBLE service every time. The waitress we had today made us wait 10 minutes to even come get our drink order and once she took our food and drink order together we did not see her again until she brought our drinks. There were two tables besides us that she was waiting on as this was an early lunch. She was not busy! Another staff brought our food and we weren't checked on the entire time, drinks weren't refilled once! I finished my meal and then she comes and was like do you need another water? Last week I visited this restaurant with my family for a welcome to NC meal. It was my first night in North Carolina. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was very friendly. However, I ordered ribs (along with two other people in my family) and they did not come out until everyone else was halfway done with their meal. When they came out my order was completely wrong. I did not get my food until AFTER everyone in my family was done eating. The only reason they're getting two stars is because of the atmosphere and the food was pretty good once I finally got a chance to eat it. read more

Cleveland Draft House would always be my stop when taking anyone to RDU from Fayetteville to catch their flight. Sometimes leave the house an hour early just for the stop. Great place to grab an excellent bite to eat with a possible beverage before boarding a plane. Many Large Flat Screen TVs to watch your favorite sports on. The staff are more than willing to change a channel for you on request. All this without the outrageous prices at the airport. I live north on I-85 now but still meet friends there on occasion. My wife and I met about 6 of our friends for a birthday celebration. The beer was cold and the food was good. We had been there about three hours when my wife wanted to play pool. We already had a tab running for out food and drink. They gave us the balls and we were about to setup. Then our waiter comes out and says we have to give him a credit card. I felt like they did not trust us to pay our bill. He said it was the rules. Dumb rule. Don't treat your customers like crooks for a pool table that runs $6 per hour. A pity, we all may have met there more often. There are a lot of places with cold beer and good food. We will be going to those. Sorry Scott that is not good enough. Your staff had over three hours to determine that we were not that type of people. It is a poor excuse that some folks might do that type of thing. We should not all be treated that way because some do. Good luck with your business. It will just be without our support. Rules need to have some judgement attached. Had a friend call and say Quilted Sky was playing there Saturday night, we arrived at 7:00 as the show started at 9:30, the Hostess said there would be a wait for a booth and gave us a notifier when the booth was ready, we went into the lounge to get a drink while we waited, what a mistake. I positioned myself in full view of the numerous bartenders and everyone ignored me, standing 6-3 a towered over the sitting patrons and tried to get their attention but was completely ignored, I just gave up and waited in the lobby, about 10 minutes later we were seated given menus and off the Hostess went a few minutes later the couple waiting in the lobby with us were seated behind us and were waited on immediately as my wife and I were ignored again we just left and ate at the Clubhouse, (great service and food by the way) with regret we went back to the Drafthouse to see the band for about an hour but we will never be back and we have been going there for years and once helped the owner hang decorations while we were waiting for other people to show, they are no longer on our recommend places to eat. read more

My husband and I have been here a number of times over the years. Our last 3 visits will probably be our last. We are very reluctant to go back. We tried to play pool. Key word being "tried." A dj started playing music and it quickly became a club and not a sports bar. One problem with it being a club is it only has this teeny little dance floor. The patrons were dancing and carrying on into all of the pool tables. It was impossible to play at this point because people keep running into you. We tried again on a weeknight. Again "tried" is the key word. We played for about 45 minutes and we were told we needed to leave the tables because of pool league. Apparently they have pool leagues 4 nights a week. I asked the manager when would be a good day to play. Mon thru Thursday are pool leagues, fri and sat, it turns into a club, he said Sundays pool is free. Sundays are not typically a date night for my husband and I because we both work on Sundays. The service was horrific. If you are lucky you might get a waiter or waitress to bring you a drink or a dinner menu. Unfortunately we weren't very lucky. Some of the people around us were lucky but it was very inconsistent. Food quality is average. Most of it tastes like it was previously frozen and put in the microwave. The seven years I have lived in this area I've been to the draft house about 10 times. Chances are extremely unlikely we will be back. read more

The Draft House is not an overwhelming large and loud sportsbar and yet not as sparse and uncomfortable as others we've visited. The balance struck in between is truly a sweet spot. The bar is cozy and the booths are lined directly beside a large area of six pool tables. A few dart boards are nestled near a stage where they feature karaoke and Sat night bands. Directly opposite the bar region is a dining room which seems to be nice and quiet (although we've not eaten there.) The food is really tasty! I've enjoyed the Reuben (absolutely scrumptious!), the Spinach salad (very fresh), the fried pickles (love.) and fried mushrooms (great.) The cheese quesadilla is large and cheesy. The French Dip is also quite nice. They feature local craft beers including Lone Rider (fav.) and they rotate so the selections are always new. I went out on a limb and ordered a martini recently and it was very good! The portion was huge, which was refreshing since I've found most fancy-pants types of places skim on the serving size... A nice bank of large screen tv's behind the bar and a few scattered in the corners ensure plenty of opportunity to view sports and racing. The staff are extremely friendly, but they do get busy and with all the local chatter, you might find yourself waiting for a menu. All in all, a great hangout! read more

I went here today for lunch with my adorable friend, and we had a really good lunch! This is your typical Draft/Ale House and conveniently located off of 42. Our Service was really good and the food was fresh and tasty and exactly as expected from reading the Menu. Oh... the Broccoli is to die for, if you love garlic butter. Yes! Do the right thing and skip the Fries and get the Broccoli as your side, you'll feel good about it! His response was "I don't know". Not "I'll go check, etc". We were there for a gathering, so we went and got her McDonald's. We asked about any types of recommended beers and he said he was not sure. I won't be going back to this restaurant/bar! Service was horrible. There were 5 people in our party and it took at least 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. We were seated on the bar side because we were there to see the band. Once we got our drinks, getting refills was nearly impossible. When we were finally able to get someone over to our table to refill our drinks or to order more drinks, the waitresses had an attitude like we were an inconvenience. At the end of the night, a member of our party asked to see the manager. He was treated unfairly and after informing them of the crappy service and attitude of the staff, security came over and told him to leave. When I stated that he hadn't done anything wrong, the security guard told me if I didn't like it, I could leave too! Mind you, my friend wasn't loud, disrespectful or rude in any way. It was totally uncalled for. We are all locals in the area and will NOT be coming back! And Scott, to your reply, apparently your so called staff didn't inform you correctly, my "best friend" wasn't loud or unruly. Seems all you do is make up excuses.
