This is the first I was seen at the Bedford location. In the past, I was seen at Beachwood. The facility in Bedford is clean and the people were very friendly and helpful. That is, until I met Dr. Potter who made me feel like an imposition. There was no eye contact, and when I attempted to convey my problems with that same eye, she did not want to hear it. I went to Cleveland Eye Clinic in Bedford Hts., on Broadway. Had a glaucoma test done and I asked when the appointment was made and when I got there if it was covered on my insurance. They confirmed both times that it was covered. A couple of months later I get a bill for $230! Will no longer be using their services! read more

I was a little nervous during my exam because of my left eye. But was put at ease by the caring staff. I recommend this Clinic especially if you have lupus they take extra care and precautions with you. read more

STAY AWAY FROM CLEVELAND EYE CLINIC!!! I live within a couple of blocks of Cleveland Eye Clinic's office on Broadway in Bedford, so naturally I went there for my eye care. I have no qualms about the medical care I received, including management of early glaucoma and cataracts removed from both eyes. HOWEVER, I received a bill from them for the second cataract removal for over $2,000. The bill stated that no money from my insurance was applied to the bill. When I reached out to my insurance company, I learned that they had requested additional information from CEC about my procedure. CEC never replied to that request, instead merely asking me to pay for the entire procedure! Eventually, CEC was persuaded to provide the information. During my conversation with the insurance company, I was told that CEC waited so long to submit the initial information about my first cataract operation, that it violated the insurance company rules and by those rules, they had to eat the entire cost of that operation! Today, I received a bill from the Cleveland Eye Clinic for over $1,000 for a procedure that my wife had done a week ago, on 2/18. My wife knows my opinion about CEC and would never go there, and she had no medical procedure anywhere by anyone on that date. Please be aware that Cleveland Eye Clinic and its management company, Midwest Vision Partners, are utterly incompetent at record-keeping. I've been a patient of the Cleveland Eye Clinic for many years. I made the mistake of ordering glasses from their optical department I dealt with Denise Very friendly but failed to follow through on everything except over charging me for my glasses When I ordered she stated half the price of the glasses was due upon ordering the other half upon receipt of my order. She also stated glasses would arrive in 2 weeks 1 week after I ordered, the full price of the glasses was charged to my account Upon receiving the EOB from my insurance, I found out I was over charged. I took the EOB in to get a refund Denise made copies said she'd speak to her manager the next day and would let me know if they would issue a refund check or credit back to my card. 3 weeks later no word from her. I stopped by and Denise asked to make another copy of my EOB and stated she was told to contact Billing Dept and she had not heard back from them. She'd reach out and either she or Jen from Billing would give me a call. 1 week later still no response! I stopped by again today and patiently waited to speak with Denise. She and the receptionists did not acknowledge me when I walked in. After waiting 17 minutes Denise came over to advise that the doctor signed off on My over charge and it would be 2 more weeks before I would get a refund. I asked why didn't she or Jen call to advise me of that- her response "she's been too busy!" This is very poor customer service! Imagine if I owed them money for 6 weeks!!! I guess it really depends on what type of service you are expecting from this business. Are you expecting a doctor-patient relationship or a retail experience? As a new client, I felt I got the latter. The scheduler, receptionist and technician were all friendly and professional, so no issues pertaining to them. I met with Dr. Mahoney who was professional with respect to the eye exam, but I felt she was going in for the hard sell to have me switch contact lenses. Per my request, I ended up with a script for my usual lenses. Another instance where it felt more like a retail experience pertained to my eyeglass prescription. I noticed that the PD was not on my script. Dr. Mahoney said she doesn't measure PDs and that I should see the optician out front. As I wrapped up my payment with reception I asked the optician to take my PD, and she replied "Are you getting your glasses from here?" I replied "no, I just finished with my exam and the Dr told me to get my PD from you." Well, her reply was "I assume you're trying to get glasses online I only do PD for people who are buying glasses here." She went on, rather rudely, to say I could watch a YT video. This is true and there is an app for measuring PD, however, I just spent an hour of my time at this establishment, fully paid for my services, and I'm left without the most critical information that I need to order the glasses I was prescribed. Something about that struck me as unfair, not patient-oriented, and just another opportunity for a business to profit. Its no secret that glasses online are just much cheaper and businesses suffer, however, withholding or refusing to provide patient info for the sake of sales is not patient oriented. I had a new patient exam with Dr Cox today, and it was great! All of the staff members were happy, efficient and professional. Dr Cox was very knowledgeable and took his time to do a thorough exam and answer all my questions. Scheduling was very easy - I was able to get in with a weeks notice. Plus there's fresh cookies in the office..how great is that?! Definitely recommend!! read more

they billed my credit card in February and billed my insurance for the same service . Insurance paid them in full now they will not refund my money back on my credit card. Just got an update and they said they only submit requests for refunds once a month and it will take a month for it process through their office. they are not nice to deal with in the billing department and dont seem to care . I will not return . read more

I made an appointment for a check-up and to address a few concerns with my eyes. The office is very clean and organized, and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. The testing did take some time, but it's only because it was thorough and very relaxed. The assistants were all very cheerful and relaxed. There is a waiting area in between tests, which is friendly and well thought out - there are multiple child waiting areas just next to the waiting room. I was able to get every aspect of my eyes tested that I was concerned about without any trouble, and Dr. Warn provided detailed explanations and treatments for me. Great experience! read more
