I know I'm going to mess this up. But Rylie our bartender was crazy awesome. She shined when it came to dealing with people. I really want to buy a shirt but they are sold out of sizes. Super sad but I'm not going to take a star away due to an inventory issue. Hopefully they solve that.

We stopped here for a cold one while visiting the historic downtown area, and who doesn't like an Irish Pub? It was very covid friendly, with very spaced out tables and also a patio pub. We tried a draft IPA, Three Floyd's, and it was so outstanding, we just had to have another. It was crisp and clean, and of course, hoppy. The bartender was very friendly too. We may never be this way again, but if we should happen to, we would stop again.

Didn't expect to find an Irish bar in the middle of Bowling Green. But it was a welcome sight, the bartenders were super helpful, creating and helping me understand their signature and house specialty drinks and cocktails. Would absolutely return again if I am back in BGKY.

Good, casual place to grab a beer after the game. The Guinness is poured to perfection. Peter, the owner, is a great guy. Definitely check it out!

Good drinks, but for a place that's at the heart of bowling green, it's strange that they don't offer any form of food or snacks.

The place has changed since the management changed. Music sucks, not an Irish pub anymore, might as well change the whole theme.

We've been wanting to try this place after reading all the reviews and it did not disappoint…read more For our drinks we got the Tito's martini and some sort of a ginger, whisky drink that they called their version of a Moscow mule. My husband said it was just ok, so he ordered an old fashioned as well and he loved it. The drinks are nice and strong and tasty. We didn't get an appetizer because i wanted to have dessert instead, so for our entrees we got the fish and chips with regular steak fries, and the classic Reuben with sweet potato fries. We split both and they were both delicious! We really enjoyed our food. For dessert we got the Baileys Irish Cream cheesecake and that was incredibly tasty. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday, so there was no band playing Irish music but it really had a nice Irish ambiance in the restaurant. We will definitely be back to try more items.

I've been wanting to find a great Irish Pub in Mid TN, and I'm so happy Yelp lead me here!…read more I arrived around 6pm on a weeknight - there was plenty of parking in the lot, and our party was seated immediately. Not long after we ordered, there was live music, which set the perfect tone for the evening. One thing I really appreciated was the noise level in the low ceilinged room. The music brought energy and a great atmosphere, but was never too loud. We ordered the Scotch Eggs (a must!), fish & chips, bangers & mash, and Bailey's cheesecake. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot! The fast service, great vibes, and incredible service have me dreaming of my next visit to Mcnamara's!!

Also had fish with side of sweet potato fries. Serviced crispy as requested. Fish was good but not "pub worthy". Have high expectations. Started with giant pretzel. Food=average/meh Service=poor, but not rude…read moreAmbiance=not bad. Typical pub vibes Man, I really wanted this to be a good experience. We were excited based off some of the reviews and pictures, but ended up disappointed. I kept trying to find reasons to make the visit better, but everything just fell flat. For starters, the staff wasn't attentive at all. The hostess went to sit us outside as requested, because it looked so relaxing from walking up, upon entering the outside, many people were smoking (cigs, not vape). I'd don't mind if people smoke, but I don't want to eat a meal with it lingering around. We then went back inside and they sat us in the corner by the drink station/kitchen. Throughout the meal, the waitresses gossiped about their lives and their customers while the table next us a waitress was wrapping silverware. Our waitress didn't arrive for like ten minutes and then took forever to bring our drinks back. The vibes were just all off. Like they all wanted to get out of there and not be around each other. It wasn't even late. The food was average, nothing spectacular. We got a burger and the fish and chips. For a traditional pub, fish and chips should be one of the best things on the menu, less than par. The beer cheese soup was a highlight. Very good. We also ordered some type of pear cheeseburger. Different, but not bad. I'd try something else if I were to return. The decor is traditional pub meets modern hipster vibes. Hard to screw up. Although, limited beer options. Only 4 drafts for a pub is kinda weird. The good news is there's a brewery next door. Like I said, I was optimistic and excited. I don't give a lot of bad reviews but this one didn't hit the mark. Considering there are many other options within walking distance, I'd try something else if I were you.
