I'd been hearing great things about this place and I finally got the chance to visit last week. It did NOT disappoint! Every detail was fantastic! Not what I expected to walk into in a small foothill community. Very upscale feel yet also cozy & inviting at the same time. The staff/owners are as sweet as they come. The display case had me wanting to try one of everything because it all looks so yummy! It was almost impossible to choose but I decided on a cranberry almond scone & it was perfect! Not dry at all like some scones can tend to be. It was fluffy, moist, & sweetened just enough. I paired it with an iced Milky Way (one of their signature drinks) & it was the perfect combo! My co-worker had a hot Milky Way & a spicy ring sandwich (jalapeño bagel with sausage quiche inside) and he was ooohing & aaahing so much that I made him give me a bite. It was to die for!!! This place is a MUST STOP on your way up the hill to the National Parks, Cat Haven, or whatever takes you up to this neck of the woods. Even worth the 40-50 min trip from Fresno/Clovis if you wanted to take your family for a nice drive in the hills. I can't wait to go back & try more of their items! read more

My husband and I have been taking long drives with our toddler to get out of the house during the SIP. We have stopped at Clingans Junction twice now for coffee and both experiences have been perfect. The coffee shop is so beautiful and clean. The coffee is so flavorful and delicious. You can tell they put a lot of work into their product. We tried their chocolate chip scones on our second visit and they were SO good! We agreed it was the best scone we've both ever had. It was soft and warm inside and crumbly on the outside/edges which was perfect. Not only is their product delicious but the service has been top notch. We get greeted with huge smiles from the staff, great conversation, and they truly seem happy to serve you. It's rare to feel like a business is thankful for you as a customer and this place shows that they are very appreciative of your business.
