Nasty CLOTH chairs (in a medical setting)
Ryan O.

This place is a medical and patient privacy nightmare. 1. The front desk staff make no effort to be discreet in their communications - either, in person or on the phone. Yesterday, the woman literally spelled the person's full name (to whom she was speaking on the phone, their DOB, and phone number). I was in the furthest seat from the front desk and could hear her like I was standing in front of her. Additionally, there is a VERY loud woman that is always at the front that seems to be the go-to person for staff questions. She obviously enjoys this role and speaks loudly so everyone knows she is in control. Just annoying. Customers/Patients shouldn't be privy to any conversations amongst staff whether patient-specific or not. 2. It's filthy. What medical-based business (that sees patients) has cloth seats in their waiting. Even in times where COVID-19 is not a concern - it's disgusting and cannot be cleaned (which is evident in the photos). For COVID-19 they may have addressed, partially, distancing but then you sit in a chair that is potentially covered in it and it cannot be cleaned. The bathroom is nasty and the specimen pass-thru has a nasty, dirty paper towel sitting in it. Additionally, it seems as though every inch wall is covered in some flyer, somehtinh taped or pinned to the wall, and/or (one of my biggest pet peeves in a professional setting) using sheet protector (for notebooks) as laminate to hang something on the wall. All of these are just there to catch and foster growth of bacteria. Nasty. 3. Related to #1, patient privacy is not a concern. I had previously spoken to a manager/regional director or something like that as I reported this issue in the past. I was assured this wouldn't continue - but as you can see in the two photos it continues. There are usually specimens that belong to other patients in the pass-thru. These contain patient names, DOB, ordering practice/provider info, etc. This is a clear HIPAA violation and, as mentioned, bringing this to the leaderships' attention does nothing. Bottom line: CPL does nothing to prioritize patient privacy. Additionally, the cleanliness of the space does not make patient safety a concern. This is unacceptable.

I get nervous when I get blood drawn and the woman that helped me kept talking to me and basically cheering me on.

I ordered some tests and went in to Quest Diagnostics on W Anderson on 6/2/26. it was almost 2…read morehours before my urine and blood samples were taken. A couple of days pass, I thought they would mail me my result but when I didn't receive anything I called customer care and my test result was mailed to me, only to notice that it was stated on the result that the lab spilled my urine sample and couldn't conduct the relevant test. they didn't bother to call to inform me about this. however I had a friend drive me about 8 miles back to the lab again on the 6/8/26 to give another sample. I would expect the lab would be sorry for their negligence in spilling the sample I previously gave and take my sample again without wasting my time, but boy was I wrong! the staff were borderline rude, they told every cock and bull story to avoid doing what's right. I was literally told to go call customer care again and ask customer care to reorder my test or I pay for a new test. after I challenged them, they told me to wait they wanna talk to their supervisor and I was there waiting for over an hour. after more than an hour the staff dealing with me left the lab maybe for her lunch break Im not sure, but on her way out, she told me the other staff would handle my issue. she left and came back about 30mins later I was still waiting, nobody had done anything about my test they botched! it was after almost 2 hours they called me in to give another urine sample. In all the treatment I got was horrible, you don't botch a service to a client due to your own negligence and then they come around a 2nd time to help you fix your mess and you proceed to treat them like shit! that's exactly my experience at Quest diagnostics, 2525 W Anderson.

I also have very tricky veins and it takes most phlebotomists a couple tries but Jane knew exactly what she was doing. She had amazing bedside manners and got it first try with no pain. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend.
