My daughter has now been here for close to a decade. My sons attended when they were younger, but have since moved on due to their interest change, nothing the gym did. With Seacoast's help, my daughter has grown into a confident competitive gymnast The coaches are patient and continuously look for drills to help the gymnast grow and get through mental blocks. Never once did I feel as if my child was unsafe here. And one should not mistake a stern voice for yelling at the kids. There is a difference. All 3 of my kids love Coach Delaney. She is hardworking and it is obvious she loves what she does. She knows every single kid who walks into the gym's name, even when they're not in her class. She encourages each one to excel and learn new skills. Coach Dom is a sweetheart and one of the team girls' biggest cheerleaders. And very knowledgeable in gymnastics. Coach Colin, we have known the longest. He also is a great asset to the gym. He offers great support and advice to the team to strengthen their skills.

We went to several competitions where our team was significantly behind in skills than other teams we were up against. Ace coaches spent several practices having the team play games and warming up twice because another team was warming up and they needed the same coach. So instead of having the team move on to practice for an upcoming comp, they had them repeat warm up drills. We paid over 5k a year in gymnastics. The gym manager is unprofessional and extremely rude. She is running the business into the ground. Unwilling to listen to parent concerns. The entire team left together to go to another gym where in 4 weeks they have already learned more skills than a year at ace. Some of the coaches are not qualified and the tuition needs to reflect that.

Be careful when you are selecting a local gym as you have several to choose from. This place has unripped mats, it doesn't have a known pest issue and the coaches are not grumpy and aloof to the people paying them good money! There are viewing windows where parents can sit and watch their kids....or pretend they're watching their kids while they are really looking at their phones. Unfortunately these spots fill up with uninterested parents so that the parents who actually want to watch their kids have nowhere to sit. At the other studio my daughter was very unhappy and I was not pleased with the way the owner treated me after they made a mistake they were not willing to fix. Here, my daughter is so happy and loves going! At her old studio she went 4 hours a week $200 month and they didnt even have her started on back handsprings. 2 months into interstate with Kevin 1 hour a week ($90 month) and she got her back handspring with no spotter on a thick mat! I am so pleased!!! So happy with interstate and I am so glad I made the switch to them, wish I had done it sooner!

They will not allow you to take two classes per week to make up for it or give you a half price discount. Unfortunately we are stuck there till the end of the season. I won't be bringing her back there. There's plenty other facilities that are cheaper or comparable in price..., have ac/ ventilation, don't smell like a sweat box and don't play the "I still get paid for vacation" game.

This is what we were looking for, and what we've found at Legends. Our daughter is in her fifth year here, having gone through the recreational program and now the competitive team program. The teams compete successfully and the gymnasts grow together as they steadily increase their skill. Legends is a family-run gym, and it shows: Barbara, Amanda, Ben, and the entire coaching staff are attentive, supportive, and totally invested in each gymnast's progress. Their level of commitment to their work--and the kids they coach--is plain to see. This is a home away from home for our daughter. There are lots of gyms, but Legends is a family.

I was going away for a month for vacation and it was part of their attendance policy that I couldn't continue being on the team due to the absences I would accumulate, which I understood. They had asked me if I was still interested when I was back from vacation though. I decided to not cheer competitively that season to focus on school. Definitely don't come here if you can't commit. It's important to attend all of the practices because it is a team sport at the end of the day. It's not fair to others on the team either which is the reason for attendance policy. One person not showing up messes up the plan for the practice & one less stunt group to work on. Cheer gyms, in general, are tough environments to be in but coaches do mean well! The coaches never have ill intent and only want the best for you. Just know that you will miss a lot of important events such as birthday parties, etc but that's part of the commitment & what you sign up for. You can't expect to go to comps and expect to win if you only put 50% effort. Mentality & simply just showing up to put in the work plays a large role... in not only cheer but life in general. I had a great experience cheering here and wouldn't have wanted to cheer anywhere else for my last year of all-star. It is very costly but rewarding sport! Competitions are super fun and I made friends with many of my teammates, who I still keep in touch with. I was at another cheer gym closer by to where I'm from (South Shore) and this gym is superior; definitely the best cheer gym in New England. People from all over NH, Maine, MA, and I've even met people from NJ come three times a week to practice.
