After two years of bad haircuts in san antonio I finally find a place (Clippers) with some good barbers, until they leave. I went in yesterday and the woman that cut my hair so well was no longer there so I tried someone else. What choice did I have. I told her exactly what not to do and that is exactly what she did. Stopped in on a Thursday morning around 11:00am to get a much needed trim. The place is very clean and has an old school vibe to it. I waited about 15 mins before being seen. Not too bad of a wait. I got my haircut with Charles and he did an excellent job. I liked that the prices are reasonable for a barbershop that will pay attention to detail on clients needs. Stopped by in a pinch and had to wait about 30 minutes as there were only two barbers. The guy seemed like he was booked solid but he stuck around to help out the other lady since there were a few people waiting. She did a pretty good job maybe not as thorough as my regular lady that edges me up and gives me a hot towel but overall it was pretty good. Walked in and told the lady what I wanted while I was in a chair. Told her that I wanted a high taper. After talking with her the lady looked very confused. I eventually told her if she can't cut that haircut then she can just do a regular fade and she still didn't know what to do and was confused. I just told her to take the stuff off of me and walked out. Waste of time and gas getting there. If you want to get your haircut do not go there and go somewhere else. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Stumbled upon the Clippers on Blanco several years ago when I was looking for a good barber for my son. Have been long time customers but when Nate moved over to the Fredericksburg location, we had to make the move too. Clippers is a great spot for haircuts that leave your kid looking and feeling "dapper". The nostalgic feeling you get when walk in assures you that you will be getting a much different level of treatment than other places in town. The prices are on point, the haircuts are near perfect and the customer service is unbeatable. My 10 year old sees Nate every 2 weeks and Nate always leaves him looking exactly how he wants. We take in pictures or try our best to describe the look we want and we are never disappointed. At one point we had to get a cut at another shop out out of state and they butchered my sons hair so I took him to the FB Clippers and they helped make my son look normal again. Never disappointed and really hope to see this site continue to grow in success. By far the best in the city!!! read more

The Lois was honest about the place having some manning issues but that's because they're very picky on who they hire which I can appreciate. Let's just say that there are much worse options in San Antonio than Clippers. The ladies and gentlemen of Clippers usually do a good job, albeit not really ever a phenomenal one.
