I used to come here with my mom for glasses and she was always there to assist us with her knowledge and expertise. Now that I am responsible for my own eye glass care and needs, seeing Lee again brung familiarity again! She was so helpful and considerate on my first visit by myself! She helped me find what I needed for my eyeglass lens and helped me find the perfect frame for them considering the day to day activities and work I do and the difficulties I have with my older pair. Everything was streamline and she offered such amazing support that should not be overlooked! Thank you Rowena Lee for your amazing help and service and I will come back whenever I need my glasses! Thank you to the Golden Vision staff who were super nice and friendly as well throughout my exam! Highly recommend!

And I decided to get their super cool black framed small aviator shape Chrome Hearts glasses instead :) Hugo is fantastic with his patient help and politeness the whole time to me. Love that. Highly recommend Hugo and Rowena who are my fav people here. Haha :) I'm just not a fan of the manager here who is too strict to me for no reason when every customer is different. Whatever payment beef that the manager here had in the past due to other customers in the ways they paid you, does not reflect on me. I have only arrived recently after those past certain customers to only give my money to you here, manager. I don't appreciate you being quite appallingly strict to me with your so called new policy on how customers need to/should pay you/your company here. How I can't Zelle your company to pay because I can't be driving out here when I'm coming from the Manhattan Beach area. Unless you want to pay for my gas, manager. Tbh, my Honorable Dad warned me to not shop from here because he can actually prior prophecy read the cons of everything here. But I love only 2 people here who have given me best customer services asap I called and walked in. But when it comes to the way I'm forced to pay by the manager is not only ridiculous to me but also a huge disrespect to me. Especially being that they have no idea who I Royally am. Fact is.. I am Royally from both my parents of The famous Tribes of Levi and Judah which is connected to my famous KJV Bible ancestors from Enoch, Noah, Shem, Abraham, Ezekiel, King David, King Solomon, King David's son Nathan, Nathan's daughter Mary, and of course, The One and Only Creator of the whole universe and beyond Messiah Savior Lord God Jesus. I'm also Royally from 5 famous China Dynasties: Li, Shang, Zhou, Song, and Ming. I'm also Royally from The Great King Taksin of Thailand. And I'm also from ALL Kings/Ramas 1-10 currently of Thailand. Therefore, manager here should know their place of highest respect and honor with Me. And apparently manager here does not. Do better, much better, manager. You need to learn to have WAY BETTER respect for people of my very special stature and very honorable special lineage. You apparently failed to do that, manager.

The Eye Shop has always been my go-to because they value transparency and always find me the best deals even when it's not in their favor. I have never had an issue with any of the staff and always leave feeling better than how I started. Thank you for being an amazing part of the Arcadia neighborhood.

Making an appointment was as easy as calling the optometry and giving them information on my insurance plan (where they are able to look it up and tell you the benefits). On the day of the appointment, I recommend coming early to fill out the intake form as a new patient and bringing your existing prescribed glasses. Afterwards, I took some quick check-in test before seeing the doctor. Dr. Nguyen did my eye exams and she was wonderful! She was thorough, explained everything in an easy to understand/detailed manner, gave really practical and actionable advice, and answered all the questions I had. The front desk folks, Ben and Raul, were also amazing!! They were super friendly, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. What I most appreciated was that they explained all the benefits of my insurance and shared their recommendations on what frames and lense features to choose given my benefits. In terms of frames, they carry name brands like Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Prada, Tom Ford, etc. Plenty to choose from. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better optometry experience.

She works every Saturday and sits in the front next to the entrance. She is so patient and didn't push us to buy anything we didn't want or need. I can tell she's been doing this for a long time. The waiting time is about 2-3 weeks and we just picked up my moms new glasses today. She's very happy with the quality. Highly suggest Tracy if you're looking for a new pair of glasses!

My vision has been somewhat abnormal due to a car accident and a history of vertigo. I went in this January as soon as my insurance is good for a new pair of glasses. I specifically requested for Dr. Szeto because she had been my optometrist the past 6 years. I took the time to tell her my story. On the spot, she introduced me to a special type of custom made lenses, saying they're for people like me. However, no insurance will cover for it and it'll cost several thousands of dollars. Of course I opted out. She then said I should get anti-fatigue glasses. I said I've never had such thing and I kept telling her I'm super sensitive and she kept insisting it'll be good for me. Since I have been having so many issues I said ok I'll give it a try. When I got my glasses, they said I'll have to give it at least two weeks to get adjusted to it because the prescription is progressively lower to higher from top to bottom on the lenses. Tried for two weeks, I was so dizzy and nauseous the whole time and it never got any better even when I tried for two weeks. Called Szeto, and she kept saying I have to try longer and blamed my eyes are super sensitive. I said to her, I told you I'm super sensitive and I don't want to feel dizzy because I hated vertigo, so why did you recommend me lenses that will make me dizzy. She couldn't answer me. Took the glasses back to have them remake it back into single vision. There was no refund for the extra cost of the anti-fatigue of course. I asked for the part-time optometrist to recheck my vision. Dr. Chea had way better bedside manner. But when I went to pick up my glasses the second time, it still felt weird. There's a girl named Jennifer who works at the front desk. She yelled out to the other lady who was helping me that I have to try longer because they're new glasses. Pretty horrible attitude. And I've been wearing glasses almost my whole life and I would know if it's not right for me. Asked to see Dr. Chea again she wasn't there and I had to go back in two weeks. When I went back she said I just need to curve it more. And when I was there, Szeto, who is the boss there, saw me and didn't even bother look up. If she couldn't do her job right she shouldn't at least show some concern but nope. All she does is trying to hot sell that thousands of dollars custom-made lenses. Asked the front lady to check if the lab that made my glasses did it right they said yes and won't give me the measurements. Lady said Szeto told her if I don't trust them I can go somewhere else to have it measured. At this point, with the horrible attitude and service, I felt that I've been totally scammed. What an unethical bunch! I did go somewhere else to another optometrist and he carefully checked my glasses. He said who made these? I said the optometrist I've been with but won't go back to. He said the axes are waaaay off centered and too high. I brought my old glasses and he said the new ones are waaay too different than the old one. Now I had to get my glasses remade and having to pay out of pocket. Point is, DO NOT go to Envue here. From the boss to the front girl, they all have pretty bad service and attitudes. They only care for your money and won't even do their due diligence to check on the quality of glasses even if you ask them nicely to. I would give zero star if I could.

Disappointing First Experience With Rosemead Eye Center…read more This was my first time calling Rosemead Eye Center because I was interested in becoming a new patient. I had heard good things about Dr. Lai through online searches, so I was hoping to confirm what insurance they accept and how to use my medical insurance for an eye exam. Unfortunately, the experience fell short right from the start. The person who answered the phone, Sam, was impatient, unfriendly, and noticeably rude when I asked basic questions. Instead of helping guide me through the process, as any medical office should, especially for new patients--she sounded irritated and dismissive. It honestly doesn't matter how good a doctor may be if the first point of contact treats people this way. A front desk representative sets the tone for the entire practice, and this interaction was a complete disservice to Dr. Lai and to potential patients like myself. I ended the call feeling unwelcome and unsure if I should even schedule an appointment. Customer service matters, especially in healthcare. Sadly, this was not a good first impression.
