What an absolutely wonderful local establishment. My partner got her aunts watch cleaned here and…read morehad a band changed. The band broke the next week, but they replaced it for free. A testament of their dedication (and maybe the band quality). After having the watch a couple weeks, I accidentally shattered the crystal. So sad. I looked at a few options, but a lot of them you needed to ship in the watch and they couldn't tell you if they could even fix it before seeing it. Also, a lot of those shipping places starting at $70 anyway. It was coach. I took it to the coach shop, but they also did not fix that. With that in mind, I went back to where she had it fixed. The people working in there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They were upfront about the cost and let me know the waiting time. One of them makes their own jewelry and it's super beautiful. Luckily, the watch took less time than the maximum amount I would be waiting, but I was fine either way. They called and I went and picked it up today. The two humans were working and I can tell they truly want to help and enjoy their job. The Crystal was a bit particular but it looks just like new. The cost was $80 with tax which I found very fair as they replaced the battery as well. Wonderful establishment with great employees who are professional and approachable. Recommend it for sure.

The price at first wasn't bad but then I checked for it online and it was a whopping $150 less and brand new online versus $900 at this store in Asheville. I'm visiting here for a small vacation and would've loved to take this watch with me back home but I cannot justify spending $150 more for a used watch than buying the same thing online brand new! Other than that the shop itself is very nice and their repair and service kiosk is great.

And importantly, they're an official dealer for Shinola, a high quality American brand with a great story we can all be proud of. Their display of gemstones alone is worth stopping by to behold - it's still under construction, but already offers an impressive, educational and beautiful experience. Probably the best thing about this jeweler is the extremely high level of service provided. These folks are genuinely attentive to your needs, couldn't be any friendlier, and are highly knowledgeable as well.

My last experience was walking into a store, having the Clerk install my battery and walking out. That was certainly not the case here. To the almost 30 minutes, it took to get my information when I dropped the watches off; to being told my watches would be done on Wednesday, only to call on Thursday, to be told that they were done, but someone needed to call me before I could pick them up!That call finally came in on Friday. And when I have needed batteries for these particular watches before , every time the jeweler has always set the time. The time was not set on either of these watches and I spent the morning googling how to do it. (Complex vintage sport watches)I briefly mentioned how dreadful my experience was to the Nice lady that checked me out. And she was very nice to not charge me. Which I appreciated. Go there for Beautiful jewelry which they have. Not to get your watch worked on.
