**experience during covid-19 ** Pizza is always a great delivery on a weekend. I happen to be a pizza lover and really enjoy trying pizza from all over the place. I ran into this place on Yelp and I saw that they had pretty large pizzas for a very good price. We decided to try the XL godfather pizza. This pizza sounded amazing because it has peperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and black olives. Well let me tell you a little bit about the sausage, it wasn't my favorite. The rest of the ingredients were all pretty good and well cooked. I love that the pizza is so big that most of the slices that you get do not have a crust or a small amount of crust. Another thing that I did notice is that they did not go skimpy on the ingredients put on the pizza. While the godfather pizza was not my favorite I am definitely willing to give them another shot to see if there's something that is better in their menu. read more

Warning!!! The calzones and garlic knots will make you involuntarily do the yummy dance!!! You know... When something is so crazy delicious that you are doing a little dance? Seriously, Clockwork is our go-to when we want something quick and satisfying. I love that there are gyros toppings that can be added to pizza. The garlic knots are garlicky and have a great buttery flavor. I can never stop at just one or two! Everyone is also always super sweet and seem happy to be there. Got the meat lovers pizza and bbq chicken. We added spinach and mushrooms to the meat lovers and it was pretty good. For the bbq chicken, we added pineapple. Unfortunately, the bbq chicken was wayyyyy too saucy and whoever made this pizza slathered on way too much bbq sauce! To the point where it was oozing out of the crust side and would come out whenever you took a bite. All we could taste was the bbq sauce. Had to take away 2 stars for this. We were eating while the haboob was starting had to eat quick and run back into the car. Food: I enjoyed my pita and I tried my friend's food too and it was good as well. Ambiance: Place was pretty casual and there was only two tables for seating outside. Inside also had limited seating (just barstools). It was pretty quiet (just two of us were there eating) but maybe people knew the storm was coming and stayed inside wisely Pricing was reasonable too. Service: decent. This isn't your average strip mall pizza place, I have no doubt they'll expand above and beyond. The portions are large and they don't skimp on toppings, the prices are good, especially compared to other places' inflation increases. I got a medium pizza and it was bigger than expected, would've thought it was a large! I did gyro meat, onions and garlic and it was excellent. The crust is great, thin in the perfect way, not like biting into a baked tortilla like some places. The GARLIC KNOTS are to die for, best I ever had. And you get a whole takeout box of them! The garlic doesn't play around, it's a perfect amount. Most garlic knots can hardly be called garlic, but these take the cake. I ordered ahead and my order was ready before I was, haha. Can I just say I love Clockwork Pizza? Everyone has their own personal preference and Clockworks Pizza is my fav. This shop is a family owned business and a great place to pick up your favorite pizza, wings , calzones etc! I'm not even a big pizza fan but I really crave these pizzas! Great ratio of crust to toppings ( I don't like it when pizza dough is so thick that you're eating mostly bread-if I wanted a sandwich I'd get one! We can even order a gluten free pizza that a family member needs and regular for the rest of us-and the GF is just as good. The kitchen is always very active and many of our east valley friends call in an order on SLICE and pizza is ready to pick up when they get there. I was really disappointed when I ordered from this place. I was recommended here by multiple people and ordering in DoorDash was a huge waste of money. I ordered the food around 3pm for 6pm delivery. Not only did the food take an extra hour for our small party but it also came burnt and barely any sauce. The bottom of the pizza was black charred. I ordered no mushrooms because I have a severe allergy and there were mushrooms - so I couldn't eat my pizza. My boyfriends cheese pizza was burnt to a crisp on the bottom as well. They are kind of a whole in the wall in the middle of a strip mall but man oh man are they good. The staff is friendly and freaky fast. I didn't realize this place didn't have indoor dining (100% my fault). But they let me chill there while they made my food. They have a few stools to hang out on. I feel like they felt bad for me and rushed my order. It was very kind. I maybe waited 20 minutes from order to walking out the door for one gluten free pizza, one regular pizza, one gyro, one order of garlic knots, one order of cinnamon bites. That's impressive, no? The pizza was fine. Nothing unique, fun, or interesting. You can get similar quality at Costco or Zzeeks. It was hot, it was pizza, I enjoyed myself. The garlic knots were chewy and loaded with garlic, butter, and cheese. Very nice. The cinnamon bites had a mild cinnamon flavor and were loaded with glaze. I didn't have any gyro but it was huge. When I read the reviews about this restaurant I had...expectations. I ordered the pizza through DoorDash as due to covid 19 I have not/did not want to dine outside. So today I and my roommates ordered a Veggie pizza and garlic knots for dinner and it was delayed by 30 minutes when the food was delivered, I do have to mention that it was a contactless delivery (unlike pizza hut). The moment I picked up the box, the first and foremost thing I noticed was that the box was cold. It was straight-up cold, not even warm. We got 7 garlic knots in a box and it was cooked good but it was VERY oily. With each bite, my mouth was filled with oil. We also got a sauce with it, which turned out to be just pizza sauce (which was tasty though). Now the main course, the pizza was cold and when I say cold I mean room temperature cold. We had to heat our pizza slices in our microwave. And another thing that we noticed was that when we gave the order we mentioned clearly that we do not want mushrooms or tomatoes but when we got the pizza it was FILLED with mushrooms and tomatoes. And along with this, there was an overdose of olives. The crust was good but I did feel like it could have been cooked a bit more as it was very chewy. Overall I was kind of disappointed in my experience and felt that it could have been better. But I do want to give this restaurant three stars because the food was extremely tasty(except for the temperature of the food of course). This place is absolutely the next best comparable to NY style pizza! I grew up in the tri-state area back east, and it's been challenging to find something comparable around the west coasts. I'm happy to have found this amazing place, being that it was a partial late last minute night, almost closing time; past the curfew hour and pandemic craze... this place, fast delivered with flavor and taste!! At first I thought the wings would be dry, it wasn't.. the buffalo flavor was dominant in taste and had that exact spice level request.
